Very nice message. Thank you for the support! I'm looking to buy a fairly large amount of CRW. PM me if interested in selling.
Would prefer to trade on an exchange to save using escrow.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the
subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The
subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Thrones code is currently being tested. Hopefully we can have Thrones on mainnet within 24hours! Everyone ready for the gold rush?? Theres going to be a period of time where only a few people have Thrones and will be spliting 40% of the coinbase reward between them. I'm going to be one of them

Will the Thrones feature require to hold the collateral 10,000 CRW in an unencrypted wallet (so that the daemon can sign messages on demand or something), or can the wallet be encrypted as well?

Hi domob, Absolutely, you can encrypt your Throne wallet. We're still testing, we could use some help! Ima get a chat going in the Crowncoin slack so we can discuss testing, if youd like to join. { Slack link}

Right. Good BST morning all. I need some help and suggestions. Obviously this coin is getting to a stage where a concerted effort with testing is needed. Once testing is completed and Thrones are live we will also need to make it as easy as possible to set up a Throne. This is where it helps that I am a complete idiot when it comes to compiling daemons. I want to create an idiots guide to compiling Crowncoin on a Linux VPS. Anybody want to help? I spent an hour or two trying to compile on Ubuntu 16.01 yesterday with no luck. Can anyone help us with the above problem?
I use Xubuntu 14.04 LTS 64bit & this is what I use for compiling my daemons - works for me every time. From within the downloaded directory (crowncoin): chmod +x autogen.sh chmod +x share/genbuild.sh chmod +x src/leveldb/build_detect_platform ./autogen.sh ./configure --disable-tests --without-gui make clean make Then: cd src strip crowncoind chmod +x crowncoind No need to install, I just run it from whatever dierectory it's in. 16.04 is a relatively new release, so if it still fails it's probably due to missing packages that haven't been released for the newer version yet. There are some bugs with every new release, which is why I wait a few months before updating to the latest version.

I'll give it a go! Thanks Edit: Tried your command and i seem to be getting much more compiled then with the previous commands used, but still doesn't work rpcrawtransaction.cpp:299:77: required from here /usr/include/boost/variant/get.hpp:178:5: error: invalid application of ‘sizeof’ to incomplete type ‘boost::STATIC_ASSERTION_FAILURE<false>’ BOOST_STATIC_ASSERT_MSG(

Not from root, from your normal user account. The sudo command is needed to install packages, but compiling is done from within your normal user account. However, judging from your logs, it looks like there is a problem with the boost packages for 16.04 - this is what I use to install all required packages for all my wallets: sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade sudo apt-get -y install software-properties-common sudo add-apt-repository ppa:bitcoin/bitcoin sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install libdb4.8-dev libdb4.8++-dev Then: sudo apt-get --no-install-recommends install python-software-properties git python-rrdtool python-pygame python-scipy python-twisted python-twisted-web python-imaging build-essential libglib2.0-dev libglibmm-2.4-dev python-dev libssl-dev libboost-all-dev dh-autoreconf libcurl4-openssl-dev libtool autotools-dev autoconf automake pkg-config libprotoc8 libgtk2.0-dev libgmp-dev libmpfr-dev yasm libevent-dev python-gmpy curl bsdmainutils Some of these packages are not required for CRW, but installing them won't harm & will ensure that all dependences are met for any other wallet daemons you compile in the future. If after installing the above you are still getting errors I'd say it's a 16.04 issue that needs further investigation.

Finally managed to compile successfully. Thanks for your help all.
Will sync chain and then see if I can set up some test Thrones.
I'm hoping to post a decent guide on how to compile and set up a Throne soon so other noobs like me can contribute to testing.
