There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Hello Crown fans, we have just uploaded a completely sync'd Crown blockchain snapshot to CryptoChainer.com. It will only take mere moments to sync now, not the 1 day I had to wait, even with the bootstrap. Enjoy

hi all ... today i have finished the setup of the crown pool ... its is an mpos pool - and is part of the cwi-poolsystem ... which means it is currently in testing 'alpha' designation ... we as yet do not have the asics to test this pool properly - so if you want to setup a profile - then workers - then point the workers at the pool to do some initial testing - that would help a great deal ... main link ... http://pool.chainworksindustries.com/ ... direct crw pool link ... http://pool.chainworksindustries.com/crw/ ... miner parameter ( plus whatever parameters your miner uses ) ... stratum+tcp://pool.chainworksindustries.com:1025/ ... your help and feedback would very much appreciated ... fyi - being the main server for daemons - the blockchain synced in a RECORD 7mins flat ... i am not kidding you ... i wish i knew how it did it that quick - but it did ... just thought i would add that tidbit in here - as its FAR from the norm of any daemon to sync that quick unless its a NEW blockchain that has just started ... #crysx

I have put 2 erupters on your pool. On the miner screen, I have some of the below errors: BES 1: Using work with lower difficulty than device supports But shares are still accepted. Also, the miner software tells me the pool is dead, even tho I can still mine on it.

Also, the miner software tells me the pool is dead, even tho I can still mine on it. yup - tanx ... i know what the issue is and its not the miner - or the pool ... its the difficulty level i have put in as a 'start' for the stratum diff ... it seems to work with very low hash miners - but for powerful asic systems - its a different story ... i will setup another stratum for much higher diff to cater for the high hash - which means it will be set on a different port altogether ... i just need a few minutes to do this - and will make it do that the start diff is much higher ... tanx for this test ... ill post back when the second high hash port is ready ... #crysx

tanx sav112 ... as posted above - the issue if the starting diff ... as many asics will just terminate connections ( built into the firmware of the miners ) when the mining diff is too low ... the diff is currently set at 0.1 - and that is ok for cpu / gpu mining situations ... though the stratum is also set to sample ( and change if necessary ) every 70 seconds ... that time frame is more than most of the miners are willing to accept - so the alternative to lowering the sample rate is to setup a high diff port which will start at 1024diff and will cap at 7000diff for testing purposes ... if this is successful - then we can up the second port diff to a much higher diff level ... ill be back with an update very shortly ... tanx very much for your help ... #crysx

hi all ...
the secondary port with diff adjustments has been set - and hope this will resolve the asic / high hash issues for the pool ...
please point the higher hash miners ( like asics ) to port 5025 - and the low hash miners ( like cpu / gpu ) to port 1025 ...
so the miners will be as per the port ...
lodiff stratum - stratum+tcp://pool.chainworksindustries.com:1025/ ... hidiff stratum - stratum+tcp://pool.chainworksindustries.com:5025/ ...
the hidiff port 5025 - will start at 1024diff and max at 7000diff ... which will still be low for the VERY high powered - but to test this accordingly - we need to start a lower rate and work up ... unless the regular sha256d miners can suggest a simpler way of calculating ...
and as previously - your feedback is ever so important - and very much appreciated ...
