Wish someone would implement an easier way to run thrones in the GUI. Not that it is that hard, but it could be used as an opportunity to overall the wallet and make it look really nice.
The problem we have is that long terms Thrones will be providing compute services and it will become increasingly important that they are available 24/7 and on dedicated vps resources. Having said that, there is no reason why we can't include some useful gui tools for setting up a throne. We're putting effort into making it as easy as possible to run a throne. We have refined the Ubuntu set up to one single command and have images available on Docker and AWS. Lots more work to do though. good idea really, easy thrones, with good graphics would give crwn a very needed edge over the competition

Is there any sort of penalty for running a throne and then stopping it ? I just ordered a dedicated laptop to run a throne and it wont come for a few days, so I thought I would run it on my current laptop until then. Do I just exit out of the wallet, or is there a command I need to use in order to stop a throne safely?

The only "penalty" is that you don't get paid while it isn't running.

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer. Always be on the look out, because you never know when you'll be stalked by hit-men that eat nothing but cream cheese....

The only "penalty" is that you don't get paid while it isn't running. And if it has an inconsistent connection to the network. Like turning on and off. It is less likely to get paid.

How do I tell if my throne is actually working ? It says it started successfully, but the active amount is not counting up, it actually says my throne has been up for negative 3 minutes. Ill delete this post if it fixes itself, but seems strange.

Currently you have to wait around 20 hours for your throne to get the first payment

could somebody clarify something for me please?
1. does one has to use a dedicated server for setting up a throne or a laptop should work also fine? 2. in the Excel sheet that demonstrates the projected earnings, why and is it safe to assume the rise in coin value and market cap?

Tron Monitor updateThe Tron Monitor tool is coming along very nicely. Tomorrow we'll start testing with CRW team-members, sometime next week we'll open testing to the community. Currently we're implementing the weekly/monthly Tron income email report, here's a sneak preview: (Based on dummy data^)

I'm totally new here and perhaps have not much say in the issue, i just wanted to point something out that bothers me slightly. upon reading and investigating the project i have obviously stumbled across the core team description. i find it slightly concerning that there are no real names and faces shown there, rather nicknames and avatars. this kinda gives me the feeling as if we are all playing somekinda pc game here.. I assume this is intended , just not sure its the ultimate way to present yourselves. just my 2 cents cheers!

Some team members are already public.

Speaking on that, I assume the other team members who are already public, would have no problem including their name. Including myself.
