I can see why people would prefer linux but I just personally can't swallow it after only using windows forever, nor could I swallow losing all the great tools and apps I've gathered over the years. I've taken a win7 x64 home premium install, disabled everything that can dynamically change it like windows update and most scheduled tasks, disabled unnecessary services, changed some registry keys like TdrDelay, installed all the tools I need and mirrored it to all the rigs and they can run for months without any issues whatsoever.
I think his point is - if you're at the stage before you've wasted all that time, you'll likely be able to set up reliable systems faster and more efficiently with Linux, as well as with better remote access capabilities. SSH is secure, fast, and most importantly, text-only - this means if your display driver takes a shit, you can still reboot, and it doesn't interfere with ADL like RDP does. You might see it as wasted time, but here's the thing; I can have everything I want in windows. There is not a single thing that I can't achieve in windows that I can achieve in linux. I'm not delusional with the shortcomings of windwos systems but both efficiency, reliability and remote accessibility is just a matter of perception because at the end of the day you can have everything what linux has to offer in windows as well - that is if you don't mind taking the time to set it up. For example, I can use openssh, putty, teamviewer or similar tools to achieve the same things. It's just there are way more tools available for windows.

Because of the kind darkcoin donators a fistful of darkcoins has now turned into a fistfull of fiat. i mined drk when it was still in its infancy and sold ALL of them when they hit $11 ... what did i convert them to? ... btc of course ... why setup another 'standard' when you already have THE standard ... besides - donors will only back something they THINK they can make money from ... so if thats what 'they' are doing - then it just might be something to continue looking at ... but for now - not for me ... #crysx

I merged some changes from the klaus_t fork. Whirlpoolx fixes. Now I am implementing a new AES wich uses the level2 cache of the maxwell and half the instructions.

Why didn't you wait and sold when they where $1100 ?

Why didn't you wait and sold when they where $1100 ? no i sold my mined drk when they hit $11 ... the bitcoins i sold only a week before they hit $1100 ... THAT was my mistake ... we learn .. i have never mined btc - ever ... always converted back to btc no matter what currency was mined ... always have - always will ... btc IS the standard no matter what anyone says or claims about the 'lack' of technology or 'lack' of advancement that btc has ... so all coins these days are now mined and traded - not dumped ... #crysx

I sold over 1k for around 0.0003 last year february. thats one of the reasons i sold all of my 'stock' of drk ... great concept - but when the whole drudgery of anon this and anon that started - thats when i knew this whole thing was going to be dragged on senselessly ... the whole concept of anonymity goes against ALL of the trade markets - ALL of them ... if you cant see where a trade goes - or cant get a refund for a product or service - or cant change your mind and receive your monies back - then what the hell are we doing transferring coins in the first place ... i know that sounds liek im a government supporter and supporter of all thats illuminati and all that crap - but seriously ... if a CURRENCY is going to be usable in any way shape and form - it NEEDS to be tracked for OUR OWN benefit ... not those bureaucratic controlling nazi's ... hence the 'dumping' or 'selling' or 'trading of all the drk i had at the time - and i had a LOT ... anyway - about to test the compilability of sp's newest ... #crysx

750ti WHIRLPOOLX-
I am getting 463Mh/s vs 458Mh/s on my 6x750ti FTW rig. Hash rate is very consistent. The 458Mh/s rate was for tpruvot's current Linux 1.6-git build.
BTW, tpruvot's current cpu-multi v1.1-git build bangs lyra2 on Intel. I get a very consistent 332kh/s on an older i7.
