Here we go:

Open new wallet. Go to File>New Walet> Save key1>Save key2
That'll give you your "Bay address" in wallet
Copy your address to notepad
Exit out of it

Go to C>Program Files>BitBay>bitbay-qt (old wallet)
Click on send and paste your new address
Exit

Go to C>Bitbay>Bitbay (new wallet)
Leave it on for 10-15 minutes and it'll show up.

FUD VS BitBay.......FUD WINS!!!!!

I'd say REALITY vs expensive ICO, not fud vs Bay.

Fud is screaming Scam! and other bs without proof. I'm just talking aboout price and why it's hard to rise for Bay now - many ppl asking here "why we're going down?" like they really don't have an idea why.

Someone wrote smth about pump group. That they fuding here because they want cheap coins.

I'm afraid that there's no pump group here and real demand for Bay is in 50-60 sato level (as we can see at bittrex)

The coin supply is too much.
I can't see it staying above 100 satoshi for long.

The coin supply is too much.
I can't see it staying above 100 satoshi for long.

Bitshares - 2 billion coin supply
Price - 4700 sat

So, no. Coin supply isn't that much. NONE of the coin out there has come up with smart contract. NONE of them have decentralized marketplace. NONE of them have double lock deposit. NONE of them has delivered anything within 20 days of launch.

Not only this coin is unique from others but it also has hardworking people who don't wait all year to provide an update.

I'm afraid that there's no pump group here and real demand for Bay is in 50-60 sato level (as we can see at bittrex)

I don't think it's anywhere near that low (yet at least) but it's definitely way below the ICO levels - and likely to stay that way until well into 2015.  However, there's a ton of money to be made in that chop (trades on both sides yesterday and last night made me an extra 400K BAY for less than .02 additional BTC investment).

Pump groups will usually not mess with something that's so incredibly volatile and full of panic (on the investor side).  No point in setting walls for a pump if that effort winds up being seen as simply a 'dump bucket' for a bunch of scared bagholders.  A pump group is likely to be involved around the time there is real hype building (not just a few day-traders and dreamers).

So look for that to happen around the time there is more marketing and promotion going on, and the market gets released and starts being used... when they see support building almost completely on the buy side - that's when huge walls and market buys on the sell side are most likely to cause a 'lemmings rush' to get cheap coins before there aren't any more... plus that means when you hit your desired return levels there will still be plenty of rush left to dump your coins into without causing a significant reversal.

Right now it's pretty much only possible to manipulate the BAY market to the downside... which has been done a few times successfully already.  If you're set up on the buy side to catch the panic dumps... you can get some very nice trades and nice profits (in either BAY or BTC depending on what you want to finish with).

I didn't invest because of Bob...nor do I follow him on Twitter. I invested because of David and the off chance the market place works out.

I'm more interested in what happens February and if nothing pans out, which I'm inclined to doubt will be the case, then I lose not so much...

I might stop reading this thread though...

I invested because of David and the off chance the market place works out.

Exactly. And keep in mind that their ICO funds remain unaffected by the price. The team has their budget to work on no matter what.  Though in a way it's flattering that all the clowns chose to perform their acts here.

Right now it's pretty much only possible to manipulate the BAY market to the downside... which has been done a few times successfully already.  If you're set up on the buy side to catch the panic dumps... you can get some very nice trades and nice profits (in either BAY or BTC depending on what you want to finish with).

And it's exceptionally easy due to the low trading volume. You don't need a lot of BTC to tweak the price down temporarily. A few marginal price orders are enough to create that façade.

OK:  I say the Eagles beat the Seahawks by more than ten points, but control the ball less than 40% of elapsed game time. 100 bay, 100 escrow. 7 day limit. Any takers?

Alright, I'm in for this.  Grin

The real question for me is why Bay dev didn't use yet some ICO BTCs to put buy wall just to help price? 3000 btc is huge bag, even 10% of 3000 would be very helpful price to stay at let's say 200ish level.

Why would they waste money supposed to be used for development to prop up the price when they are planning on pegging the price in the future anyway? They don't care about the price now because it is irrelevant when a peg is in the future of the coin.

Depends on how insistent the schemers are and how much money they have to keep this up. A buy wall would only mean they'd have to chew through it first to be able to manipulate again.

The thing is, there really isn't much trading going on either way. As it should be. The low sales are just tiny. The only thing these guys seem to achieve is causing other buyers to hold out for a bit.
