Well, price wise nothing that David did had (for whatever reason) any positive effect on BC/BLK (which is likely why he ended up here).
So why would BC take a beating here? The dumpers and the chinese daytraders are dragging the price down for like half a year now anyways.

Well, we will never know exactly, only thing i know is that I do not own 50% of BC and don't know anyone who had... Of course it is absolutely beyond me how the BC price could go down to this after months of steady trading at 30k levels, but with a fixed number of coins "they" would have been done selling off long long time ago. I still think it's mainly lots of people being impatient and selling at losses (especially the chinese guys) + daytrading.

If you're telling me that Stevens, Bob, Lin & David are the only people associated with this coin then I think all hopes are lost and I refuse to believe that you can do anything to change it. If there is marketing team, HR, Alibaba contacts as it was said in the beginning then there is still hope alive. It doesn't mean I'm going to sell my share of Bay because sooner or later another so called "whale" as you say it would join in and try to pump it and I can get out during that pump.
