All alt coins go up and down i thought this is well understood, if you looked under the hood of any alt coin it would be enough to make you shit in yer pants if it was your preferred alt. This is still very much the wild west out here. The only thing different about paycoin is that josh has the hood up and always has. Dont know what the big deal is.

... what?

the coin doesnt even match the white paper
What?
All things evolve

okay i agree things evolve, but then you update your source for everyone to see
you said the hood is up which implies transparency. there is no release of paycoin code in public that matches what it is

You would have to be a special kind of idiot to

A: invest in a joke like paycoin

B: invest or download any coin that is not completely open source.

Is it too much trouble to ask you to actually go to paycoin's site to check? https://github.com/GAWMiners/paycoin

How is that not open source? Where exactly is there a binary that isn't built from the sources?

He's never had the "hood up," he's lied to you and mislead you and broken promises to you over and over again while you've ridden it all the way down, taunting the people who were warning you. You're down ninety percent from the days when you were calling Josh a genius and a saint, and you still don't know what the big deal is?
Thats right
I don't know wot the deal is and neither do you
This continues its evolution

A lot of people figured out "wot the deal is" back when XPY was over ten bucks and you were jabbering about how the "genius" Josh was giving you this great opportunity to make "serious serious money."

"Wot the deal is" was even more obvious when the launch failed and what was "under the hood" turned out to be nothing but a peercoin clone, and you'd lost half your money, but you were still blathering about how it was all part of Josh's plan to shake out the "muppets."

Now you're down 90%, Josh is rubbing it in your face, and you're still befuddled? How is that possible?

I never said it wasn't open source, I said it's idiotic to invest in or download anything that isn't.

If you think otherwise, then let me introduce you to Trojancoin!

Are there even closed source coins? I've never seen one. Then again I don't spend much time in the cesspool of altcoins.

do you understand what open source is?

Yes i can copy (almost verbatim) pre-coded product and put it on a public svn and then call it my own public release, while stripping parts of it.
Is my product open source? NO. unless there is 100% chance to compile my binaries and included resources to replicate the product. If i cannot replicate what you have produced, its not open source

the earlier poster said its open hood, which means everything would be open source. this is not provided by the link you posted

Again; are there any binaries that have features not in the source code?

This continues its evolution

A lot of people figured out "wot the deal is" back when XPY was over ten bucks and you were jabbering about how the "genius" Josh was giving you this great opportunity to make "serious serious money."

"Wot the deal is" was even more obvious when the launch failed and what was "under the hood" turned out to be nothing but a peercoin clone, and you'd lost half your money, but you were still blathering about how it was all part of Josh's plan to shake out the "muppets."

So wots the deal

That would be easier to believe if you hadn't been singing Josh's praises and getting all excited about what a great opportunity Josh had given you to make "serious serious money," back when XPY was 10x the current price.

And if you hadn't relentlessly made excuses for Josh all the way down, even saying that all the botched launches and broken promises were done intentionally by Josh, and taunted the people who tried to tell you that you were wrong.

And if here, barely over a buck, you weren't still making excuses for Josh and trying to pretend that XPY has a future.

Now you're trying to pretend that in spite of being militantly wrong every step of the way, you never put any money into it. Perhaps you can see why people might be skeptical.

As have i,the publicized part (your svn url) is buildable. And this makes you to believe this is the product you could replicate given a place to run it?

What final product are you talking about? Could you show me where there's a binary that does anything not in the public sources? Or are you just trolling me?
