There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

We're just trolls posting FUD and memes. I'm sure every smart investor would have done their own due diligence.

Vancefox did an analysis on the paycoin blockchain. Here is one of his posts which pretty well sums it up. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=857670.msg10146342#msg10146342

Quote
Just start from block one and look where the coins go... They split all the way down and whenever a dispersal happens the leftover goes to a completely new address.  This premine dispersal script, in my opinion, is designed to make it difficult to see exactly how many coins were not allocated to either "primes" or hashpoint conversions.

There very well may be tens of thousands, or hundreds of thousands, of XPY spread out in small 100 coin or less balances that are being used to create pure profit through PayBase credit card purchases and/or slowly dripping into the exchanges.

This is my main concern about the long term viability of this coin. There is absolutely no accounting for all 12 million coins.

Smiley

Such a nice thing to know my analysis is still helping those to know the truth.

This space not for rent...

How the hell does anybody invest that type of money in crypto

He's probably factoring in his anticipated gain as part of his loss.  A better number might be the basis of the investment.

Claiming PayCoin isn't open source is incorrect and distracts from more serious claims.

In fact, it was PayCoin's source code that inspired my exit, as the code did not match the white paper at all.

There are dozens of things wrong about this whole mess, but proprietary wallet software isn't one of them.

Or he kept buying to bring down his average price, because it was "cheap" and "a gift" at $10 $8 $6 $5 $4 $2, and the buyback was going to turn things around, etc. etc.

"Paycoin" and "serious" together is like trying to mix water and oil. You make shake it as much and as long as you want, but they'll never really mix.

snip

Is it too much trouble to ask you to actually go to paycoin's site to check? https://github.com/GAWMiners/paycoin

How is that not open source? Where exactly is there a binary that isn't built from the sources?

do you understand what open source is?

Yes i can copy (almost verbatim) pre-coded product and put it on a public svn and then call it my own public release, while stripping parts of it.
Is my product open source? NO. unless there is 100% chance to compile my binaries and included resources to replicate the product. If i cannot replicate what you have produced, its not open source

the earlier poster said its open hood, which means everything would be open source. this is not provided by the link you posted

I have personally downloaded the source from github and compiled it. What parts of paycoin are stripped? As far as I know, every single release can be built from source.

Again; are there any binaries that have features not in the source code?

As have i,the publicized part (your svn url) is buildable. And this makes you to believe this is the product you could replicate given a place to run it?
less than 100% vs final product is unacceptable

What final product are you talking about? Could you show me where there's a binary that does anything not in the public sources? Or are you just trolling me?

PayCoin/PayBase is the product im talking about. anything else GAW is trying to peddle on ppl atm?

do not try to mince words. everyone knows the meaning
where is the url to the product that replicates the white paper released by GAW? its definetly not the url you posted

Lol, it seems so real but the Ross-Urbrecht filters give it away.

Quote
Hey guys, I hope you can help me here because I'm stumped and getting flustered. I know quark purity is something that can be quite fickle and difficult to get dialed in, but ever since I switched from a Ross-Urbrecht filter to a Gauss this thing has been driving me up a wall. Before, my noise ripple tolerance was below 30, now it's plummeted to around 8. The filter is rated for delta 7 helix inversions, and so far I've been having huge trouble getting above delta 4.5. My Fermi coefficient is currently set to 0.41, but I've tried everything from 0.10(barely broke delta 1) up to 1.009(only got to delta 6.13 and my VX was humming VERY loudly and getting A LOT hotter than it normally does- like 950K hot- yikes!). 0.41 seems spot on as a Fermi coefficient to hit delta 7, but she just can't get there. Anybody have any ideas of what else I can check? Common installation mistakes when installing a Gauss Quark filter?

I wouldn't put one fucking cent towards any of this scam coin.  It's too big of a risk that you may be buying some of the 11M+ premined coins they've been selling all along.  You'll just convert their own gaw xpy coins to btc and pawn it off on some other trade.  It only helps Homoro and gaw to buy in at this point.  Think about it.

He was talking about 1980's Steve Jobs, the one who did so horribly that he was booted from his own company. The one who ripped off his best friend for a few grand because "fuck you, I'm Steve Jobs bitch."
