That's a reasonable summary. Not sure about jail time, we may know more in a couple of weeks after the plea hearing.

There is hope that there will be some restitution for victims. Although I'm guessing it's going to be a fraction of original USD value at best.

Think about it - Garza could stash away 10k BTC at $500 ($5m, half of the scammed amount), sit on it for two years, then pay back the $10 milllion he scammed and still come out ahead. Except being the dumbass that he is he probably pissed most of it away on assorted bling.

I wouldn't worry about that. ION has zero marketing and they just fleece the same tiny group of bagholders over and over again. If DIONS has any real effort behind it - nobody will care if there is a similar-sounding coin name on page 7 of Bittrex markets.

Stepped out of this thread right around the time where their websites went down and we archived some evidence...a year and a half or so I believe. Crazy to finally think this scumbag will finally see some sort of justice. Justice that we all think is deserved? Probably not, but a form of justice none the less.
