I have 30 GH coming later this week that will go on the pool. Not a lot but its something...

A bit delayed but 20 GH of that is on the pool now. I have another 70 GH on the way.

Last night I was getting a really high reject rate, but today I'm not. Anything changed?

EDIT: Spoke too soon, got a bunch of rejects after that. I'm running around 50% rejects. Is that normal?

Code:
 1            | 20.34/20.95/ 9.67Gh/s | A:5 R:6+0( 53%) HW:16/.88%

That is definitely not normal. Are you using the latest cgminer or bfgminer? Have you tried restarting your miner?

Latest bfgminer from github. Restarted several times. It seems to happen on all (most?) p2pools but not eligius

I was planning to wait for an LTC ASIC to become available, but I think we could have enough funds to place an order with Black Arrow and still be able to afford an LTC ASIC without taking on any more debt.  Thoughts?

Are we that close to an LTC ASIC? Last I read we were still quite far off due to being too expensive? Could you tell more? Smiley

I went ahead and placed an order for one of these:
http://www.blackarrowsoftware.com/store/prospero-x-3.html

Best part is that it adds 2TH/s and 0 debt.

But you ordered it from bobsag3 and his http://www.minersource.net/mining-hardware/ right?
Because of the no group buys thing at blackarrow.

1 year ago nastyfans auction opens. I post some fun facts about the first year of nastyfans...

  • the first nastyfans seat sold for 0.44889676 BTC ($6.01)
  • today a nastyfans seat sold for 0.0509 BTC ($46.06)
  • during the year 6,121 seats sold on the auction (total of 1,901.29932868 BTC)
  • during the year 558.95573924 BTC donated to nastyfans
  • during the year 1 seat accepting donations received 0.03887740 BTC
  • 11 fanclub polls executed
  • NastyPool created: p2pool node with no fees; server costs and donations through merged mining
  • minted seats created: 77 seats minted already

There are many things still in planning. It will be fun to see the list in December 2014.

Maybe odd question.

Beside having lot's of fun is anybody making money from investment in Nasty seats?

To be completely honest, I bought in late in the game so if I had held onto my BTC instead of buying seats, I'd be a lot more ahead.  However, in terms of USD, yes, I'm making money, just not as much as if I held onto my BTC.  But bottom line, I am in this for the longer haul.  And I believe in what Nasty and Nonnakip are doing and I believe that seat price will go back up - maybe not to where it was when I bought but the donations will still come - sure they are a bit on the low side right now, but that's about to change (hopefully soon.) And there are other things they have in the works outside of mining that stand to help as well..

For those that bought in early with Nasty - well, they can speak for themselves but my understanding is that yes, they have made a lot of money and still are way in the black!

The web interface has new feature in account settings: donation payout threshold

Your donation payouts are stored by nastyfans until you have more than threshold. By default all accounts are set to 0 so all accounts receive donation payouts for all distributions.

The threshold is only for online seats. For minted seats I will do it different. Also I will add feature so you see how many your donations are stored by nastyfans.

Your donation is the same no matter the threshold value. The advantage to using threshold is to avoid "dust". The disadvantage is you trust me to secure your donations until your payout.

Thanks for that implementation. I'll give it a shot.

Either you own the bitcoins(private keys) or you don't. However with moneroj, nobody knows what you own.
Secure. Private. Untraceable.
