What about Waves DEX?  Wink
It would be great at least ideologically.
According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

any news of attaining any new exchange listings. Bittrex is good but

bt38 or any others at all? even cryptopia seems to be growing
I have seen other threads where investors demand debs to list the coin to Bittrex because it is a big exchange with high volume but in bitbay case it seems the opposite is true.It is already on Bittrex but you guys want it at other small exchanges

Yea. Doesn't make much sense to spend btc on getting on small exchanges. Just look at todays volume. 330 btc on Bittrex, and less than 1 btc on c-cex...

Edit: But a decent chines exchange would make sense

Small exchanges become big exchanges. I remember when Polo was nothing. The only reason they became so big was because every other site stole from their users... errr umm i mean "got hacked" and they were the only ones left.

Yeah its not a bad idea but they aren't really doing DEX. Its not atomic trade and im not entirely sure how they manage their protocol. But still the more the merrier. Dogecoin is on 300 exchanges... maybe some dont have volume but as a collective total we should be one more exchanges anyways.

If we make some BitBay gateways/apps on such systems as Ethereum and Waves, can it be so that:
1. A client sees the price in eth/waves in Bitbay client and eth/waves address. He sends his ethers/waves and gets the product.
2. Almost all technical part concerning exchanging happens in Ehereum/Waves apps, they supposed to be more convenient for it, aren't they? The Bitbay client gets payment in bays and maybe some info for better price adjustment.
3. In Bitbay client the task is to make the according prices and addresses in in eth/waves displayed correctly in different situations, but that's all. No Waves/Eth tokens in bitbay client or things like that.

If I did not miss something that will spoil all, BitBay could become multicurrency market for Ethereum/Waves/some other currencies users. And as a bonus Bay will be listed and traded in Waves and Ethereum's decentralised exchanges (as I know they are already working well).

Guys, I've got cash for coins offers on the marketplace!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gp-K0qxvsRU

If you are tired of getting hosed by coinbase, local bitcoins, and the likes, you can start buying BitBay for USD - cash in the mail 0% fee, bankwire 1%, Western Union 1%!

Good to see bitbay is rising. So much good code and innovation should be a good long term investment. Especially compared to some of the marketing hype coins without solid tech or innovation.

Taking an interest in this project.  I've familiarized myself with the client and things seem to work as they should.....except embedding the keys in images.  I've tried a few different pngs and it seems the client will embed the key sucessfully...but every time I go to extract it fails.

Any insight?

I didn`t mean to troll your topic i was just shocked that i lost 30% of my btc in 1 hour...
Yeah patience can be virtue...but not if we go deeper in the hole. xD
Can some reputable member explain what is happening and give some predictions ?

The volume went up almost 10x in the last day.  It was looking very bullish, but it seems like someone with a lot of Bay dumped.  The volume is there, I'm still expecting a big break out.

Yeah, thats what I`m saying also... someone dumped huge portion of Bay.
I was looking at a buy wall when that kind of big dump happened. From 1300 to 960 instant, and buy wall was 15+ btc..
So basically i`m worried about coin distribution....how many whales are there and where can i find stats of bay holders (wallets with biggest coin balance) ?
Thank you for your understanding.

ALL markets are down right now, it's a correction across the board, there is no scam and BAY is not a "chinese scam coin" so relax. These things happen and things are already starting to normalize. So, go out and enjoy the sunshine for while or read a good book, the markets will recover...

Ok, thanx for your calming answers and your time. Smiley
I apologize for my language, hope we all see bright future with Bay.
