kucoin and binance are probably worth going for right now for bay

I read on the DMD thread that Binance charges a $150,000 listing fee!!

But Kucoin looks good.

LOL what a joke 150k . Ha, well roll on the big decentralised exchanges. Shame blocknet seem to be taking forever to get there one rolling.

Are we still on for tomorrows new wallet update?

I believe so. Haven't found any bugs yet while testing out the new exotic spend features in the advanced payment UI

That's great news but if david thinks a few more days testing with all the slack members is needed on test net then no biggie waiting a few more days.

We should 100% get on Kucoin now before it become difficult and costly to get listed.

That cant be repeated often enough.  We should get on Kucoin while the going is good; this 'cheap access' window wont be open forever.

As for decentralised exchanges, Barterdex looks the best bet currently.

http://barterdex.supernet.org/

Couldn't agree more. I see more and more people mentioning that exchange. I guess binance is out of the question now at those prices but still i think we can vote it on if we got everyone on slack to vote.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

I agree, decentralised exchanges are definitely the future.

Do you have any short-term plans to get BAY listed on any?
Yeah, but right now we haven't seen any true decentralised exchanges really work.

Waves DEX. I used it myself. It's fast and nice. It still misses some features, but soon there will be an update, new design and missing features added.

kucoin and aex or whatever btc38 new exchange is called is worth a shot right now.

I hope someone in the bitbay team gets on this whilst it is still a realistic possibility before it has 150k listing fee.

BarterDEX from Komodo (KMD) looks promising. JL777 project. As usual, some people will use their favorite project's DEX and some will use whatever works best for them. There's plenty of room in the tech right now for multiple exchanges to prosper. That won't last forever.

I guess we need more people to download and use it

I will await davids announcement before using it myself.

I mean why no announcement anyway? seems weird.

Very strange the new wallet release has happened and nothing announced or mentioned even about it on thread??

Was anything announced on slack about this i mean the ability to send locked coins is actually quite a big deal and opens up a lot of possibilities.

Who is staking with the new wallet already? is the pos rate fixed and returned to the correct amount?

I can only hope there is a nice surprise or something like that coming and that is why they have not made a big deal of the long awaited exotic spending feature?

I see a xmas surprise listed and there was meant to be summer surprise so i'm hoping either we have an indian summer or an early xmas ?

Cryptohunter,

I have been using the new wallet to stake (ver. 1.29) with no issues so far.  As for why nothing has been posted here/why no updates etc. I have been trying to get an answer on that also over at the Bitbay Slack.

Thanks

Thanks for the info. I am looking forward to being able to stake my bays.

I hope David is going to show up soon. Usually he is the most responsive developer of any community I have known ever.

Which makes this all the more unusual.

Should we get a member of the team that can bring over vital information from slack to this thread. This board is still the main jumping place or should I say landing place for noob crypto enthusiasts. Slack or other mediums are for those that are already interested in a specific project.
