There's a huge price difference between C-cex and bittrex on bitbay this morning. C-cex is 0.036 and bittrex is 0.024 with C-cex having almost twice the volume. Interesting difference, I would have guessed bittrex would be higher, even with with new exhange and c-cex delisting. Maybe manipulation to keep bitbay on c-cex?

So you would think a whale or even the exchange themselves?

that's indeed very interesting.  The price itself doesn't meant that much, but if they've somehow gotten twice the volume then that's big....  Someone definitley buying to keep it afloat

And will go live on their fiat gateway soon https://upbit.com/exchange?code=CRIX.UPBIT.KRW-BAY

Is this big news or are they just adding all bittrex coins?

also trading looks exactly as if they are just feeding trex trades to their console?

i can't understand what the write on their website, what i saw is that they have bittrex-logo and a link at the bottom of their website. maybe it is the chinese - is it chinese - version of bittrex.

It's Korean

I'm quite excited to see the first web wallet and web market place are we still on for nov 1st or is there a push back on this date ?

I mean it is only 4 days away and nobody is really talking about it?

Also to get the staking back to its true rate will be a welcome event too.

Our alternative funding was locked up till only about 1 week ago.
Yeah we have the BitBay marketing fund but it's not worth using to sell for BTC to market with at this time.

For all future updates we will be much more prepared both financially and materialistically.

with the closures of btc38 and other big chinese exchanges I hear they are setting up else where under new names...

Anyone  know what these are and is it a good time to contact them and get bay on them when they start up?

BTER is re-branding as GATE.  I was never a fan of BTER, but maybe this new manifestation will be an improvement.

That might be because they stole millions of dollars from their users in a "cold wallet hack" and never paid them back. I would be more sympathetic had they paid users back but no (how does a cold wallet get hacked other than by the owner itself). Personally lost 3 btc on BTER. Not to mention what they did to BitBay and I think there was also a NXT scandal.

So they change their name and do it again. Definitely don't trust BTER.

I didnt know about any of that history it really stinks!!   Angry

The reason I personally was never a fan of BTER was simply because I got the impression it was a cr@p exchange.

Best avoid it then.

Yeah it's mostly old news. Normally when an exchange experiences a "hack" of that magnitude, it shuts down. But BTER is an exception. I'm also very cautious of Bitfinex because 120,000 Bitcoins were "hacked" and then promised back. But the problem is they repaid in USD a while later. This resulted in a friend of mine losing a tremendous amount because he got screwed by missing out on Bitcoins rise. Now imagine if they hacked themselves and the price dropped, they could simply repay in BTC and not USD. So either way it was a problem. My feeling is if you are hacked in Bitcoin, repay in Bitcoin.

It's like someone "loses" 1000 dollars and then promises to pay back the victim. When the time comes they give the amount in the Pesos exchange rate at the time of the loss.

General rule of thumb. Put money on the exchange and withdraw immediately after the trade. None of these exchanges can be trusted. We wait for the popularization of decentralized exchange.

I agree, decentralised exchanges are definitely the future.

Do you have any short-term plans to get BAY listed on any?

I believe so. Haven't found any bugs yet while testing out the new exotic spend features in the advanced payment UI

That's great news but if david thinks a few more days testing with all the slack members is needed on test net then no biggie waiting a few more days.

We should 100% get on Kucoin now before it become difficult and costly to get listed.

That cant be repeated often enough.  We should get on Kucoin while the going is good; this 'cheap access' window wont be open forever.

As for decentralised exchanges, Barterdex looks the best bet currently.
