hi
i cant synch my wallet,
can someone give me active node please ?
cya

Click node list on this page for active nodes https://chainz.cryptoid.info/bay/#!network

Usually you should not need that node list though. I'm guessing you are dealing with some other issue like outdated wallet, firewall, or anti virus. Feel free to join our slack for trouble shooting.

thanks a lot for your help

I am really excited on what bitbay has to offer in comparison to other coins. Does anyone know if they plan on incorporating the masternode feature?

Sadly not. Although perhaps a variation on ethereums  upcoming pos/dpos could be possible.

Although David will answer when he gets a chance and explain it more in detail but the gist is he does not like masternodes  due to the centralisation it can bring.

Masternodes are the new hype, but they tend to create centralization. The dev is right to avoid this easy path.
Imho, "Masternodes" and "POS" coins will take a serious hit in a very close future: because most lure miners and stakers without a real use case of the coin besides "storage of value". This is currently a bubble in the cryptomarket.

Of course in this case bitbay is not a coin lacking a use case. Coupled with a bunch of people accumulating and holding for profit could work out rather nicely if implemented in a sensible way.

Although the plans david has for locking away coins with the peg with duration and amount taken into consideration when working out the rewards is just as good if not better. So either way soon bitbay will provide incentive to accumulate and hold to a degree that may well make many churners reconsider.

It's a complicated matter this crypto game, projects are generating themselves huge development funding from hype and fluff and bringing on some real devs. Others are plugging along creating real tech and real usefulness and not getting noticed. If you can play all angles it is probably best.

Bay should be at 10000 sats minimum right now.

I think that bitbay needs to invest a little more in marketing for the project. A little investment goes a long way. It's all about the presentation.

Understood. However it takes time. The marketing team is growing stronger day by day. We are completing a lot of tasks that don't always get noticed.
It will continue to grow. Over time we will include frequent press releases, and continue the task of making this user friendly to the 'normies' so that we can go full force marketing mode to the world rather than just the crypto speculators.
Being a POS coin we won't have to deal with the same issues POW coins face in terms of funding. We've already created stake reward donation feature to help fund future marketing and innovations.

Stick around and enjoy the ride - we will get there!

It`s nice that the team updated roadmap..

besides, I thought this coin already had ready smart contract templates.

Also, pegging is final decision of the team?

We only have the custom contract template and buy/sell coins template atm. Will be more templates as you can see on the roadmap.

What do you mean by "pegging is final decision of the team?".

Now I understand why price went down. People were waiting for pegging in 2017, at least in the beginning of 2018. Now they see that serious things that could move the price up won't happen in the near future. These things are pegging and Web/mobile marketplace (that allows to attract sellers and buyers). Things like smart contracts does not impress traders much today.
On the other hand, price is extralow anyway, it will not fall much more.

Cryptocurrency has become such a money grab its easy to lose track of what's really happening here. Seeing Bitbay and a few other projects that are really innovative and have a lot of potential to shake things up is cause for celebration by itself. Everyone wants to be a billionaire, but the reality is we aren't going to be talking to our families about how much money we made. No grandkid is going to want to hear about the time you made 500% in a week.  We're going to be sharing what it was like to watch it all unfold. For the developers - you guys are creating the next airplane, the next automobile or MacBook

These are the vehicles and tools that will define generations to come.

So keep up the good work or I'll clutter the page with hippy dippy paragraphs about life and nonsense.

Web wallet and fully functional web market place with a simple tiered reward system for locking coins up for long time periods would be a greater price mover than the peg I would think anyway.

I thought the peg was said to be completed this year but there is some xmas surprise so that may be something pretty interesting we will have to wait and see.

Still good to see a solid road map even if it is a bit more distant than we thought before.

I think the web wallet/maketplace will help a lot.

Pegging is something we all look forward to very much. But we are actually getting way ahead of original schedule with this roadmap. Originally we had been talking about starting to develop web and mobile wallets after the peg. And those wallets are a must for our goal of mainstream adoption. The web wallet is also crucial for others to start building their own services on top of our tech. So in reality we are reducing development time with 9-12 months here. Maybe more Smiley
