Selling IOTA tokensI'm selling 1,000 Miota (= 1,000,000 1,000,000,000 IOTA tokens) for 8,000 BitBay (~0.07 BTC at the time of writing this) on the market. I will probably sell a few more batches if this first one completes successfully.

I hear you but although I know slack is vital I do believe that this board is critical for appearing active. Glad to hear though that slack is growing fast for bay. I hear there are hundreds of people on it. I like the hint from munti that the api is coming too. All good stuff. Crypto I agree with your comment regarding this board and slack. (also remember reading your similar comment months ago regarding the same thing) I only found out about Bay because of this thread. It is also much easier to learn and follow a project on here vs slack. The search function is not the best on slack either to find answers to questions. If a board is inactive I usually assume that it's either dead or has no following. Yes, I find those topics that are constantly on pages 1 and 2 of the ann section are the fastest growing communities. They just look active so attract posters then investors. Slack is good for those that are already sold on the project to discuss some deeper things but the board should always be a priority. In my opinion anyway. It is simply free marketing when so many new people are arriving here daily.

Slack is good for those that are already sold on the project to discuss some deeper things but the board should always be a priority. In my opinion anyway. It is simply free marketing when so many new people are arriving here daily. When one searches for the first time to find info on crypto currencies, BitcoinTalk is one of the first links found. Where better to learn something new than a discussion group? BCT is essential. Yes, there is a lot of misinformation and such but, a dedicated newbie will sift through it and draw his/her own conclusions. I remember searching for "bitcoin" in 2012 when I overheard someone else mention it at a technology conference. BCT was in the first few results and the rest is history. I feel it is essential to maintain an active presence on the board. Slack is great for real time discussions and problem solving but not so much for marketing, general discussion or information dissemination. Each has it's place and each is needed as they compliment each other.

I'm asking someone trustworthy to vet this offer I made if there is any way I could be scamming. I'm asking this for a potential buyer who is a bit hesitant as he is new to BitBay.

But ofc you know this.

No. It's pretty much up to the community to contact exchanges and ask them to list us. There is only so much the team can do in that matter

BitBay Announcement: Marketing and Management Team Update We are excited to announce the formation of our new BitBay Marketing & Management Team. This addition to the BitBay community was assembled specifically to enhance brand awareness of BitBay throughout the Crypto community. David Zimbeck’s Halo Client is the most advanced cryptocurrency wallet in the industry, and we have assembled a marketing team dedicated to supporting his vision of erasing the need for middlemen from all business transactions permanently within a trustless, decentralized environment. BitBay would like to welcome the following members to our team: Marketing Assistants - Lude Nozulan Spoink Mctjin Web Developer - In negotiation stage Web Security - Gitgud Team Assistants - xxotakuxx Ratatackeur Gitgud Social Media, Blogs, Articles - Fakename123fauxstreet Mctjin Gjsteele Video production - Lowercase Mctjin Events & Advertisement Assistants - Alfonso Rafa Music - Mctjin Public Bounty List Manager - Position yet to be determined Graphics Design - Position yet to be determined Our first priority for the marketing team will be to define the branding of BitBay. Through careful definition of what BAY is and isn’t, we will be able to coordinate an approach to taking BAY to the next level. The second priority is a total and complete website revamp on all fronts. A majority of the BitBay team’s time has been spent ensuring the wallet client is fully functional and ready-for-use, now it is time to proceed further and spread awareness. After the website is rebuilt we will then allow the team to focus on their specific tasks assigned to them as the core team has a long list of private bounties to integrate into BitBay to give it the attention it deserves. We will provide the community with regular updates on the status of these goals. There are quite a few unannounced features nearing completion (because what is life without a few surprises?) We are also incredibly excited to announce we are adding the finishing touches to the much anticipated public bounty list. Many members of the BAY community have been kind enough to offer their time and skillset to the BitBay cause, and through this bounty list we will enable them to participate in creating a better BAY. We will more than likely release them to the public in small batches to help with managing the many tasks we hope the community will be willing to help us create. The first phase of public bounties will be released very soon (within the next two weeks). It will be a great way for the community to help us market BitBay and earn some coins in the process! As always, thank you for taking an interest in BAY, check back soon! - The BitBay Team

Very pleased to see that such a powerful project technically advances as a roller compressor and is structured every day.
Marketing will be very effective because it relies on an already powerful and functional product!
When I see all ICOs worth as much, while there is still no product ..
The potential of Bitbay is very great.
Good luck to the whole Bitbay team and especially to David Zimbeck

No. It's pretty much up to the community to contact exchanges and ask them to list us. There is only so much the team can do in that matter we need to attract some people here with some connections getting listed on btc38 or any of the other good ones takes more than a few community members asking cryptopia you can pay to get listed on if there are investment groups here (which i hear there are with vast amounts of bay) then it can be well worth selling a few and getting us on cryptopia.

cryptopia not worth it. plus like 1.5btc or more to list
people dont feel safe keeping coins on smaller exchanges, tbh you shouldnt keep much coinage on any exchnage, none of them can be trusted, the centralised exchanges
cryptopia is one of the best smaller exchanges but is for tiny coins really, there is no volume there
the next step would be polo
keep asking them on twitter, better still get one tweet from say bitbay account and get everyone in slack and on here to retweet
they are slimy though, if they are not hodling any they may not list

I have seen other threads where investors demand debs to list the coin to Bittrex because it is a big exchange with high volume but in bitbay case it seems the opposite is true.It is already on Bittrex but you guys want it at other small exchanges

Doesn't make much sense to spend btc on getting on small exchanges. Just look at todays volume. 330 btc on Bittrex, and less than 1 btc on c-cex... Edit: But a decent chines exchange would make sense
