I think when you plan "a scheduled maintenance" it would be nice to notify users beforehand for the date and duration of the maintenance via a message in your site front page or login page and by posting here.

I tried just now but the login process is crawling, so after a long time when i am prompted to enter the 6 digit 2FA code and i enter it, the validation takes a lot of time and i get an error message that my 6 digit code is invalid. Probably has expired due to long processing time in your back end system. So i cannot login. I emailed tech support also.

EDIT: I tried 4 times to login but the 2FA authentication step fails and it takes a lot of time to validate and display the error message.

I see that you are implementing CloudFlare protection but i get Error 525 "SSL handshake failed. It appears that the SSL configuration used is not compatible with CloudFlare. This could happen for a several reasons, including no shared cipher suites." so your site is not accessible right now.

Browser is working -> Amsterdam CloudFlare Working -> www.e-coin.io Host Error

Are you under DDoS attack or just started to implement CloudFlare protection proactively ?
Inform us with a post when the situation is back to normal operation.

But I would like an official explanation for the incident because I really like the service and this was the first major glitch.

It must operate with no troubles now. I was successful in log-in and loaded my card with no problem.
But I would like an official explanation for the incident because I really like the service and this was the first major glitch.

There were some issues we needed to address, hence needed to stop the service for some time.

Would have been nice if it could deduct any purchases directly from the wallet but then again for security purposes it may be better to load the card as and when you need it.

The limits in my card load page, as a verified user, are:
Load limit per load transaction: min $10 max $2500
Daily load limit: $10000
Monthly load limit: $70000

IMHO it is more secure to load the card when you need it because:
1) you know exactly the fiat amount you have for purchases in the card and you don't have to worry for the BTC price and wallet balance at the moment of purchase or atm withdrawal.
2) it is more secure if the card is stolen or compromised because the card fiat and BTC wallet are separate objects.
For extra security you can transfer to the e-coin BTC wallet only the coins you need from another wallet you have.

1) I agree with you that e-coin customers must have been warned for such a maintenance in advance or at least during the incidence.
2) For me personally that is one reason not to choose Xapo. I prefer to know exactly the fiat amount that is available for purchases in the card so that i don't have to worry for the BTC price and wallet balance at the moment of purchase or atm withdrawal. I also want to be in control and decide the time to load the card so that the price to convert BTC to fiat is best for me. That's one of the reasons that made me to choose the e-coin card.
3) The Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. with $639 billion in assets was the fourth-largest investment bank in the US and declared bankruptcy in 2008, so everthing has risks and you must invest only the amount that you can afford to lose.

I don't speak Russian but if you refer to the maintenance glitch on 1st September that is resolved now.
For me everything works fine.
If you have a problem that haven't resolved yet email tech support, they reply quickly as I know from my previous experience with them.

the mistake with PIN code is most probably caused by incorrect entry (this is the reason in 99% of such cases). Really no need for such an outbreak of emotion and spamming messages..
