the actual surprising part is the lack of DELEGATION that was done at AM. Chain of command exists for a reason. If your general gets killed someone has to know what to do and take control. Fried Cat should have had a plan what would happen if he quits or leaves, a second or third in command, direction, plan B, plan C. that's the actual surprising part. with so much capital on hand and experience the company doesn't need FC to continue - so it should continue to function if the CEO takes a form of leave not collapse.

When Avalon shit hit the fan, people were talking about Yiffy (or whatever d00d's name was) being menaced by Teh Triad or Black Hand or Ninja or thugs with lasers and bees. I took a picture of it and wrote a note on it to ngzhang that I thanked him for letting me use his tech and looked forward to using his new ASICs just as I had the FPGAs. It occurred to me while watching a video of Yifu talking about how he had to hide ngzhang due to "death threats" that it is possible they interpreted that silly picture/note as a threat, possibly because it had his home address on it. I'm not sure how someone who could both read English and Chinese could do that, though, because the English note I made should have been clear I was proud to have had been an early miner using Avalon tech. Not only that, but it had MY home address, email, forum name, and phone number on it. If it was a death threat, they could have just reported me :/ Conversations on here devolve into inane conspiracy theories quite quickly. Hanlon's and Occam's Razors more easily explain this as either friedcat being in over his head or just outright running with the money/assets. |

I think you should acknowledge that even you had your doubts about AM (being like all the others) for a while ... Oh, I'm not saying that i didn't have doubts about AM being honest. Still not 100% sure friedcat is not coming back to make everything better. Also not 100% sure that Nigerian Prince d00d isn't planning to make me fabulously rich, but not sending him any money nevertheless. For the same reason (tho, admittedly, haunted by doubt), I didn't "invest" in AM. It's not about guarantees, just lousy odds. BTW, I also would have advised Jack against buying Magic BTCeans with Mom's CC. Even now, armed with the knowledge of just how handsomely those BTCeans paid off, I'd hesitate to advise doing it. Getting jaded, I guess. |

update : 1. We have lost contact with Friedcat more than 40 days, we are now still focusing on finding him. 2. A lot of evidences we have found shows that he is safe, which is the only good news recently. In addition, all rumour around the community are baseless and untrustworthy. We know so far nothing about where has he been and where is he at the moment. 3. We have to focus on finding him currently so there are indeed some delay on replying email of sale@bitquan.com. However, since we have all records of your emails so it is only a problem of time, please understand and be patient. 4. AMHASH project is not from sale team of ASICMINER, we know nothing about the deal between Friedcat and ROCKMINER, no one else has seen the contract between them either ,therefore, we sale department of ASICMINER is not be in charge of AMHASH project, please be patient to wait till we find FC. |

This is just a picture of an empty office, I don't see anything that connects this particular empty office to any particular entity. You might as well claim this office belongs to Avalon, Bitfury, or Huwaei. It's like people selling miners without their username/date--it's not very strong proof of anything. Any thoughts? |
