I guess my question is where did that rumor come from anyways
Either that or Friedcat forgot

I've gotta say, this sure is pretty rude of him. He must know that everyone was going to be waiting for this day and too not even mention that there was a delay is pretty heartless:(

Imagine taking a loan from a bunch of anonymous people and then paying back that loan like 450%.  Then, continuing to pay other people that 'bought' the debt from those random people.  To top it all off, all these new random people complain a lot and demand a lot of your attention, calling you heartless etc.

I think a healthy dose of perspective is in order.

Well unfortunately this is what he signed up for when he took that loan. Those were the terms.

Indeed. Imagine capitalism.

But you're right, this is a completely unregulated market and friedcat is bound by nothing whatsoever except his own intentions. He could at any time simply decide that any obligation that he owed to the original purchasers of his IPO is fulfilled, void all public shares, and keep any future profits to himself. Guessing by his general lack of communication and the implied complete lack of respect for shareholders, I'd say he's not far off from making that decision, or may have already made it, given that he has already broken his promise of paying out dividends when the "balance payments are received" for batch 1 of the gen 3 chips.

If friedcat wants to concentrate on results instead of PR, I am happy with that.  A few days one way or the other doesn't make too much difference at this point.  My personal thought was that the 27th was a typo, and Wednesday the 28th was more likely because... Wednesday!  No Wednesday happy dance in some time, and I'm about ready!

That might be a good observation Friedcat's dividend schedule was always set to Wednesday and most news releases also come on Tuesdays or Wednesdays if I think back on it.

Keeps the party hat on for the day and night if it goes that long just hope he doesn't catch me napping when he makes the post Smiley

I wouldn't go that far.  Friedcat has been amazingly honest and has done nothing to deserve that level of doubt.  His honesty in a veritable sea of scammers was the primary reason AM has been the premiere asset in this space.

Thank you for saying this so well. I keep thinking it, but haven't been able to sum it up clearly. Yes, friedcat owes shareholder some information. But holy cow, some perspective is in order. This is uncharted territory.

And by the way, almost every company in bitcoin-space is abominable at public relations. AM at least tells the truth & follows through.
