1002  Economy / Digital goods / Re: ★ Bitcointalk Accounts ★ Member ★ Full member ★ Sr member ★ Hero member ★ Cheap on: September 03, 2015, 09:26:03 AM
This is the prices.

★ Member - 0.03
★ Full member - 0.05
★ Sr membber - 0.015
★ Hero member - 0.025

The OP made a mistake over the first post. I think:

★ Sr membber - 0.15
★ Hero member - 0.25

If he didn't i'm intrested in a hero member for 0.025 if he has a signed message and neutral or positive trust Wink
1003  Economy / Digital goods / Re: ★ Bitcointalk Accounts ★ Member ★ Full member ★ Sr member ★ Hero member ★ Cheap on: September 03, 2015, 09:01:46 AM
This is the prices.

★ Member - 0.03
★ Full member - 0.05
★ Sr membber - 0.015
★ Hero member - 0.025

I guess you made a typo... Sr and Hero members are cheaper than full and normal members Wink

Edit: also, it would be nice if you elaborated a little bit: do these accounts come with signed messages, positive trust, bans, post quality, escrow accepted???

1006  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering Loans from 0.01 to 0.1 BTC , 0.5% daily intrest, collateral, escrow OK on: September 03, 2015, 06:18:58 AM
It's unfortunate that I screwed myself when I opened the account not knowing the rules of the forum. Hopefully I get the chance to raise my trust back up going forward!

Hi,

It's unfortunate, but Quickseller is right... I cannot accept a junior account with negative trust as collateral.... It would be unsellable in case of default...
I guess your best bet would be to make a new account, since this one is only a junior and already has a -3 trust rating  Sad

1009  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how do people sell things in digital goods section with very cheep prices ? on: September 01, 2015, 12:58:53 PM
a lot of times, it seems like vendors are even upfront about the fact they're selling hacked accounts...

Anonimity is like a cozy blanket for those wanting to sell illegal stuff...
1010  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / Re: Bitcoins kwijt of toch niet?! on: September 01, 2015, 10:07:55 AM

1011  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Guide to offline armory install on: August 29, 2015, 05:48:19 AM
You could use a persistent live USB instead of a full installation on USB.  But you need to permanently install the software unless you want to re-install it every time.

Whether an updated install is more secure than an un-updated install is difficult to answer.

I would just disable the network in /etc/network/interfaces by setting some dummy value.  I think that wouldn't keep it from giving the annoying waiting for network message on boot?

Very nice tutorial!

I was thinking about a variation: use virtualbox to install Debian inside windows.
The virtual machine would have no network, and an encrypted lvm. I would share files between windows and Linux by sharing a host directory with the VM.

That way, I wouldn't have to reboot each time...

I realise this setup would be a little more vulnerable, but I guess it would still be reasonable.
Or am I missing something?

I am looking through some of the forums and I see some of the campaigns here and there, however is there a forum thread or forum dedicated to the available campaigns?

This thread  Huh

1016  Economy / Lending / Re: What's the process for loan approval - need help? on: August 27, 2015, 08:42:06 AM
I rarely lend bitcoin.

1) I never lend to neg-trusted members.
2) I accept only bitcointalk accounts as collateral, as they very easy to liquidate here.
3) I lend up to 70-80% of the account value, to prevent get scammed by account farmers.
4) Get a signed message. This is very important! I have been in a bad situation recently for not requesting a signed message.
No signed message = no loan

I have given loaned small amounts to a couple forum members before... and i follow similar rules to tsoPANos... Although i would accept altcoins, almost nobody that needs a small loan actually has any ALTs as collateral anyways... Maybe this is different for bigger loans, but i only loan 0.01 to 0.1 at a time

1018  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: newbie question about solo mining on: August 27, 2015, 08:14:19 AM
can you please explain me how are you going to do your solo mining, as i also wanted to try

I have a Core2duo 2gb ram 500gb hdd / intel motherboard with in built graphics, will be sufficient to mine and how can i do this

please help me with this detail.

No, it won't be sufficient to mine....
There is a very very very very very small chance you'll hit a block, but it's almost not existent...

If you do want to solo mine, i guess your best chance would be to use a solo mining pool like this one: https://solo.nicehash.com/
It will save you the hassle of running a node, setting up bfgminer, cpuminer,.... (you'll still have to setup this software, but usually the pool has an easy how-to made for you)

But for this should i have to buy a Graphics card to mine in bfgminer, cgminer or what ever software, the system which i am using dont have graphics card . I have tried to setup the cgminer software but it is searching gpu but i want to try with cpu.

I just want to experiece what will happen if i setup cpu minning.
Yes you can do cpu mining, but the hashing speed will be very less. There is a software called cpuminer and search on youtube on how to setup cpuminer and those videos can guide you better.

Very good point...

But just to elaborate... I do not recommand using a CPU OR a graphics card to mine bitcoin!!!

A long time ago, people started to produce ASIC's . These are basically, small devices made for the sole purpose of hashing one specific kind of algorithm... These devices can deliver extremely high hashing speeds for extremely low power usage. They exist for sha-256 (bitcoin, namecoin,...) and scrypt (litecoin, doge,...).
You CAN NOT compete against these ASIC's with your CPU or your graphics card... Period...

The only way to actually have a chance in mining a block, is buying an ASIC... If you buy a small ASIC (like an antminer U3), chances are still almost not existent you hit a block... If you join a pool, payouts will still be low, but at least you'll have something to show for your efforts...

IF you buy an asic, i strongly suggest reading up on the technology, rewards and odds... There is a very big calculation you have to make, including power costs, risks, investments, ROI,...
1019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: August 27, 2015, 08:02:42 AM

Are there any cloudmining sites out there with decent roi that are NOT scams? Can anybody name any?
There are many outthere like zueshash they are legit cloud mining but lots of fees but its legit and its been running for a year now,

hashnet is better choice

I think you mean hashneSt Wink There's quite a big difference between the two
