1001  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Player protection - stop loss limit on: November 21, 2020, 03:53:58 AM
Hi guys, as you know some casino/bookmakers offer "player protection" giving ability to set up a stop loss limits.
What happens if a player lose more of this limit and continue to gamble despite any "protection"?

Gambling sites cannot protect you if you are losing, I don't know this
Quote
player protection
but if you lose you lose, if you want to have protection from gambling then only you can set up for yourself by betting on the money that you can afford to lose.
Gambling sites always assume that you play here to be entertained and they will not stop you from betting.
If you can find a gambling site that stops you when you are losing, then play on that gambling site and send us the link if there are any.
1002  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we going to see another PANIC on: November 20, 2020, 11:27:48 AM

Bitcoin Valuing more than $18,000 the very high price Bitcoin achieved after the Bullrun of 2017.

It cemented our belief that we are in a bull and all time high is very imminent Bitcoin is now at $18k and we are in November imagine if the movement of price continues to be like this, we will have an early all time high and who knows next month we have a lot of new records in the all the time high.
The only thing that we have to watch out now, is what happen after the all time high, where the price crash after recording the highest price, I hope it's different from the time high that we experienced in 2017.

1003  Economy / Speculation / Re: Congrats to everyone for reaching $20k again. on: November 20, 2020, 10:24:02 AM
I'm just opening the post in advance.

It's been a long time HODLing, not selling a dime.

It's been worth it.

Cheers guys!

Smiley

Really advance, you beat all of us here by posting it first, anyway it will eventually reach the $20 k mark and it looks like it's going to happen this year, congratulations especially those who bought Bitcoin in it's all time high if they are still holding it's been a long wait for us we are almost there reaching $20k, so many people thought that Bitcoin will reach it's all time high next year first quarter, it happens so fast, definitely we like this.
1004  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Pros and Cons, off using Paypal’s Service to Buy Cryptocurrencies. on: November 20, 2020, 09:08:40 AM

My personal thoughts are, the only pros of this paypal service is it'll increase the mainstream of bitcoin and bring about global usage and nothing more.

For long time users of Cryptocurrency, it did not offer any pros, but for new users they consider it a big boost of Cryptocurrency and will explore option on how to get hold of Cryptocurrency through Paypal, I for my part will not be looking to buy Cryptocurrency using my PayPal dashboard I always adhere to the teaching of Nakamoto that if you are not holding your key, you really do not own the coins.
1005  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin be Trade at $318,000 by End of 2021? on: November 19, 2020, 10:29:38 PM
Bitcoin now reached $18k value which is near at the last ATH value. However there are some people that predicts more than the value of last time ATH.

Citibank Executive Says Bitcoin Will Trade at $318,000 by End of 2021

Is there any truth in what Citibank Executive said? What  do you think guys?

It's very surprising that he made a particular price at a particular time to make a prediction, whatever tool he is using I don't think any tool can accurately predict the exact price of Bitcoin at a specific date, although he concedes, that his prediction might seems improbable, his prediction is just two years to go and even if Bitcoin pump big time from time to time I don't think $318,000 by End of 2021 is attainable, but only the future can tell.
1006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you fear the president of your country, one day, making Crypto illegal ? on: November 19, 2020, 04:41:36 PM

I don't mean only America, what about in your country; do think that a future ban on crypto currencies is ever possible in your country?

All of us have that fear even if we don't admit, having the most powerful man in your country banning or making Cryptocurrency, is worst than a nightmare because you can not open trade, you need to hide your identity when trading, and there's a possibility that you will face criminal or civil liabilities, some countries are imposing not only sanctions but imprisonment as well, I hope it will never happen in our country, our country support is very supportive in Cryptocurrency.
1007  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lottery Gambling on: November 19, 2020, 04:13:42 PM

I thought this was an Ending game in PH which the result is from the final score of a basketball game.  Cheesy

I also thought that because it looks like one, it's very much different here in our country, it's part of the lottery here in our country but I don't bet on something like this I only go for 6/42 and 6/45 and other similar because you only need one to hit one time to make it big or hit a jackpot, compared to what you show us it's for small bettors, even if you win several times you will only win a small amount.
1008  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: TOP 10 LUCKIEST LOTTERY WINNERS PART 2 on: November 18, 2020, 10:59:41 PM

Deborah Brown
Wins: 30
Amount: $150,000

Deborah is the epitome of superstition, this lady saw the combination of numbers throughout the day and decided that she will buy tickets with those combinations. At first it was 20 tickets then the numbers keep festering her and she bought another 10, those tickets won her the highest amount for each netting her the mentioned amount. All this win happened in just a day and by far she is the luckiest in the list.

Astonishing, there are gamblers like this, and I have known some of them they are quick to attach number that they fancy on that day to bet like when they are reading a newspaper and they saw a combination of number in the newspaper they read, but mostly they got it from their dreams
I read a lot of news about people waking up with a combination of numbers, they bet on them and they won, it's not superstition but a mind working to create miracles for winning numbers.
1009  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin betting on the 2020 US Presidential Election | Trump vs Biden on: November 18, 2020, 02:09:28 AM
We get mixed messages from Trump (like always, sometimes in the same sentence). From following this closely I think he is relatively close to conceding, all his lawsuits are getting thrown out, Republicans are slowly ditching him...

Now will the gambling websites pay when he concedes (if he does) or will they still wait for the certification in January, figuring out that with Trump, anything could still happen ?

With how things going on he should concede before it's too late he should save the little reputation left in him, he won a lot of big battles in his career as a businessman and politician, it's time to let go of this one, it's not always winning in every battle.
He is just too arrogant to see the real picture because he still sees a lot of cheering and supports coming from his followers, but these are blind supporters, Trump, and his supporters will end up blind to the truth.
1010  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Asking About Riobet Casino on: November 16, 2020, 08:37:18 AM
I have used this gambling site for a week and the overall impression is good. If you look for fiat gambling sites that accept cryptocurrencies too, there are many available choices on askgamblers. Fast-pay casino and Vavada are the famous Russian online casinos that accept players usually from Ukraine too. Both BTC and altcoins are widely accepted, Riobet has not asked for any personal document after deposit. Maybe I have lost all balance, better to check the casino review website for the correct info.

If Riobet leaves a good impression on you and all the others who play here, they should create an announcement thread or get a representative to run an announcement thread here, they are going to gain a lot of new users and can have a slice in the Cryptocurrency gambling casinos.

They have been online since 2014 they already know that Cryptocurrency gambling sites are very much popular here in this forum, it seems they are concentrated on gamblers that use a credit card and other traditional payment processors like Neteller.
1011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports icons and Covid19 complications on: November 16, 2020, 08:05:16 AM

I wonder if the stadiums will be packed full like they used to be if vaccines are given to the spectators... or will they be made to maintain the social distancing and follow previous health safety protocol/rules. People could easily put their trust in vaccine and start taking big risk in crowded places and with their bodies. Such people could make the disease more stronger and difficult to treat/cure.

I guess they will just accept people or audiences that have been vaccinated with the vaccine, the audiences would have to show proof that they have been vaccinated before they are allowed to go in and watch the game live.

There's still no implementing guidelines on this because we do not have a vaccine yet, the sports organizations want to get live audiences back they are losing revenues on the ticket sales, so we'll see how things will play out when we have the vaccine.

1012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting strategy advice on: November 16, 2020, 06:38:35 AM
I think sigle betting is the safest way to bet on sports betting because it has less risk compared to multy bet. If I want to establish myself to continue gambling every week on only one best team, will I be able to win more money at the end of the season? If not, what will cause me to lose at the end of the season ?

Still so much depends on the team you've bet with, have you done research on it, it's not actually the number of bets, but on what team or teams have you bet your money, sports betting needs a lot of analysis and tracking the performance of its team and the condition.

If you think you have the best team to bet, and you want to go on a single bet, then it's the results that will count if you made the right choice of only making a single bet.
1013  Other / Off-topic / Re: How To Know When You Created Your Gmail Account on: November 16, 2020, 05:47:16 AM
If you ever get locked out of your Gmail account, knowing your account creation date can significantly increase your chances in getting your account back.

The creation date is very important if you want to recover your missing or locked Gmail account, everyone who is using Gmail account should know this, in my case after creating my new Gmail I create a message with my password and unlock codes if that Gmail needs verification before you can log in and send them to three of my other emails and put a star on it for easy retrieval.
1014  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: THE MOST PAINFUL DAY IN MY BETTING CAREER on: November 16, 2020, 04:35:01 AM

That was how my hope of winning 260k bet was dashed. I can never forget that very day in hurry, Sunday 10 Nov.2013

You need to see a professional because 7 years is already a long time to still feel the hurt and to be disappointed, this is just money there are still important things in life like your health and your family, stop something that's making you disappointed, you cannot go on like this forever, life is too short, we have our family, our health and our job to take care.
There's a saying that the best things in life are free, so try to move if you cannot get professional help their job is to help people like you.
1015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Are we getting better over the years on: November 16, 2020, 03:40:06 AM
Are we getting better now after 10 years, after ten years there are still hacking going on, there are still many scam projects and the market is still volatile but on the lighter side the adoption is progressive, the market always recovers from any situation, and there are good project coming in.

1016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers lose more money than win. on: November 16, 2020, 02:01:20 AM
Ultimately, a casino or gambling site will always benefit. You have a large group of losers, and also a group of winners. No one is forcing you to gamble, it is your own choice.
It is better to start with small bets and then increase if you have more experience.

This is the fact that we should accept that majority of gamblers are losing and going to lose, it's business, they are here to offer entertainment and excitement on all their games, and the house edge will make sure that the house can sustain their operation.
The worse is if you have an attitude of thinking that you can beat the house, yes you can beat sometimes but never all the time, just gamble what you can afford to lose and you are good to go.
1017  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question about crypto profit on: November 16, 2020, 01:20:01 AM
Hi there!

I don't get it, why would people would invest in BTC now? current price is $16K but people still invest in it.

even if it reaches imaginary price of $32K people would get just +100% of what they've risked while you can invest in altcoins and MAYBE get easily 10x-100x on your risked amount...

I mean what's your thoughts about it?
What coin do you think will 100x within a year? <3

You are recommending people to gamble if that is your logic, it's risky, I have seen some people making money on the pump and dump coins/token, only to lose all of it because they tried to extend their luck.

Bitcoin and Ethereum is the safest bet they are not making a huge pump in price but you can be sure that if it dips or the price slip it will eventually recover, many investors are on HODL strategy and they're making a profit, you just need to be patient and here in Cryptocurrency the market is highly volatile, you need to moderate your greed.
1018  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 4% return - compounded DAILY on: November 16, 2020, 12:44:13 AM

It's not per day. Yo have to read the post right below OP. It's all explained there.

4% per day is never legit. That would be 120% a month. Only ponzi schemes can offer that much. If it was legit nobody would be trading anymore as most traders barely make 10% a month. People who could earn 120% without lifting a finger would just put 0.1 bitcoin there and quit their day jobs. Grin

OP obviously misunderstood the plan, I would mark the site HYIP or Ponzi scheme if it is 4% daily because it's not sustainable not even a big company or a bank can give you 4% daily interest but 4% annually with compounding is just right and sustainable I have never seen a site that can sustain even 3% daily interest I remember seeing a lot of program offering 3% and they are all reported and within a month the program was offline.
1019  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why most of us are losing money in sports betting? on: November 16, 2020, 12:03:13 AM
I believe that most of us are losing money in sports betting, but I'd like to know based on what you read and your experience (if you have) the reasons why we are losing. Personally, I've been gambling for years, I'm just an ordinary gambler who can't be too serious with gambling, but I can't deny that I have been losing money more than I win.

Share some tips to win or to minimize losing?
______

This thread is open for the winners and losers.

There are people who are successful in sports betting, but these people are dedicated people who are a fan of those sports so they know the sports,  the individual player and the team very well, they dedicated their time and their effort to study the strength and the weakness of every team or players, if you are not that kind of sports bettors, then it's likely that you are going to win betting in sports betting and you will just rely on your hunch to win.
1020  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Nordine Oubaali vs. Nonito Donaire - December 12 on: November 15, 2020, 04:18:42 PM
I understand, in gambling, we don't use our heart all the time, so even if Nonito is a Filipino fighter, not necessarily you will side on him if you see the other fighter having an advantage, nice job and good luck, it's still a long wait though.

If you are into sports betting you will see who is at the advantages and you will likely bet for him, if you are a long time fan and he is fighting a fighter that is better than him, you will be more realistic by picking the better fighter, but deep in your heart you wish that the boxer you idolize will come out a better fighter, I still believe that Nonito will show the skill and the toughness that he displayed on his match against Inoue.

The title should change to Donaire - Rodriguez since Oubaali is out of the picture.
