1061  Economy / Economics / Re: corona Vírus doesn't affect bitcoin price on: March 07, 2020, 04:33:17 PM
I think that by now it's clear that corona virus doesn't affect Bitcoin price. At first there were many theories aiming exactly at that direction, some even saying that corona virus was intentionaly released just to harn cryptocurrencies, which I don't think that has any reasonable explanation.
Maybe in the case that corona virus situation gets into some serious world crysis that would seriously affect global economy that might influence in.a way Bitcoin price too.
1062  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2 Chinese charged with laundering money from exchange hack on: March 07, 2020, 11:58:43 AM
Not a surprise for me as there are tons of other people who are still doing bad things with Bitcoin and exchanges so don't think for a second that this 2 guys were the only one. The problem is for them is that slowly we are building laws for cryptocurrencies and the punishment for a cybersecurity crime is very big and when it comes to cryptocurrencies and money, they can stand in jail for a long period of time.

Of.course they are not the only one, thry just get caught. Bitcoin is abused in many ways but illegal activities connected with cryptocurrencies is still much harder to detect than those with fiat so people don't have the feeling how big this issue is.
Security of cyberspace.and cybercrime are becoming bigger and bigger issues but still there is no.right solution how to deal with that in the best way.
1063  Economy / Economics / Re: Start investing so you can quit your job and retire early. on: March 07, 2020, 08:26:55 AM
It's not so easy as it sounds.
Investing and trading are very risky and there is no guarantee you will make enough profit so that you can quit your job or earn for your retirement. That is an illusion.
Besides to be able to quit your job you need to profit really big from investing and that also means you need to invest a lot with minimum losses. That is a theory that in practice isn't functioning so idealy. You definetely need your steady regular job as a back up.
1064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling a threat or fun? on: March 06, 2020, 10:11:49 PM
Gambling should always be fun. If you see that gambling is taking control over your life then is a threath to.your phisical wellbeing. This often goes to addiction and many don't recognize that.
Everyone wants to make money with gambling and that is fine but you have to know yourself and know your limits. Aa long as you enjoy and you don't endanger your financial situation and your health gambling is a positive thing.
1065  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin ready for world wide 1 currency? on: March 06, 2020, 09:13:37 PM
I ask this because of the corona virus where people are too scared to hold money.

The issue is that we value btc against the usd and other fiat currencies. If fiat currencies were no longer how would bitcoin be valued...inflation etc? Can't get my head around how it would work.

Nope. Maybe for the next Corona, that come 10 years from now. Bitcoin is in very early stages of development. Because it made few people super rich is way over hyped.

Bitcoin is leading cryptocurrency and probably will stay so but it will not become leading currency because it can't compete with fiat currencies, at least not yet. Not corona virus or any other threath will change that.
When you look how little percentage of overal population in the world is using Bitcoin then it's everything clear. At the moment Bitcoin doesn't have a chance compared to fiat.
1066  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is Best Trading or Freelancing? on: March 06, 2020, 07:35:59 PM
For me these two things can't be compared, they are not the sane category.
By freelancing you actually put your skills and knowledge in the market and get paid for that as for your job.
Trading is risky activity where you invest and speculate with your money but at the end there is no guarantee for earning or profit at the end. But it also requests your time and skills.
So, everyone should choose what suits him the best or even combine these two.
1067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Age restriction in gambling on: March 06, 2020, 05:50:36 PM
Children and minors shouldn't have access to gambling sites. They should develope mechanisms to control the age, either by providing ID or some other kind of verification. Gambling could really have bad impact on such young children and It's realy sad to see how some gambling sites are oriented only on profit.
1068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can writing how hard you worked for earning money restrict you from gambling? on: March 06, 2020, 01:03:36 PM
Gambling should be fun with potential to also earn some money. The fact that I have to work hard reminds me that I shouldn't waist my money so I will not quit gambling but I will be careful how much I spend and not to cross the line. And I wouldn't spend on.gambling money that I need for my daily expenses but the amount I can afford to spend for my pleasure and I don't think there is anything wrong with that.
1069  Economy / Speculation / Re: How will the Halving affect the BTC price? on: March 06, 2020, 09:54:03 AM
There are so many discussions already on that subject. To my opinion people are having too big expectations from halving and think that will produce some huge price jump similar to those at the end of 2017. Some positive effects will happen but not in such big extend and probaly the impact will not have a long term impact. That is my opinion but I allow the option to be surprised at the end, hope in positive way.
1070  Economy / Economics / Re: Unfair aspects of KYC. But KYP is here on: March 05, 2020, 09:39:57 PM
There are good sides and bad sides of everything, so that applies to KYC too. But the idea and intention of KYC is good and it really helps to protect users from different kind of abuse and scam and honest users don't need to fear it.
Also, we don't need to fear that KYC is violating our privacy and abuse our personal data. Some incidents are always possible but then we know who is reliable and what are the responsibilities and how you can be legaly protected.
1071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: process vs outcome on: March 05, 2020, 07:10:23 PM
Being willing to wait for longer results is basically a process even though you didn't do anything at the beginning and might just make it like a quick guess and also, even though you play a casino that will get results quickly but in reality the process will always be there, because at least you will do some experiments or experiments at the beginning to then increase the number of bets etc. then it is a process as well and of course we will always expect good results from every process that is passed.

With time you get more experienced in.gambling and the process itself more and more developed. However, that doesn't necessary guarantee high performance and big results. In gambling many factors influence the final outcome and you can't always influence and control the whole process. Some gamblers wait for their whole life the big result to come but at the end that might never happen.
1072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Leave gambling, if it destroys you. on: March 05, 2020, 05:52:05 PM
Well,  for me i will not leave gambling because this is my stress reliever especially in my work schedule.  But i dont gamble in Dice and in other gambling that based on luck i only gamble in Sport Betting like in Basketball especially in  Boxing because I'm very happy to watch boxing and this give me good relaxation while im in home..

As long as gambling is your stress reliever and you have it under control everything is fine. That is what gambling supposed to be fun and relaxation
If it becomes your obsession and adfictiion that affects your live in very bad way and I don't mean only on finance. Then it's time to ask for help and quit gambling.
1073  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is 12K USD is the next target? on: March 05, 2020, 03:04:53 PM
I'm not sure. Some predictions are very ambitious and to.my opinion 12000$ at the moment is one of such. Bitcoin is quite struggling to reach 10000$ so if that limit is broken 12000$ might be the next phase.
However, I don't expect such strong price jump in the upcoming period and some further corrections are possible too so it will take time.
1074  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency trading with flash loans on: March 05, 2020, 12:54:48 PM
I'm sure that many people are attracted by flash loans and possibility for fast investment and fast returns.
But there is a catch and you can find yourself in closed circle of losses and situation where you can't return the loan. Also, such loans requests quite a high collateral because lenders want at least some certainty and pay back guarantee.
So, I would avoid such loans and follow the rule that you invest extra money that you have and don't need without further debts.
1075  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever lost access to your Bitcoins? on: March 05, 2020, 11:13:45 AM
No, I haven't but from stories of other users see how complicated and frustrated that might be.
That is why it's very important to always have a back up and your access data stored in a safe and secure way.
My advice is not to store all your coins in just one wallet and don't keep coins at exchanges, their only purpose is trading, not storage of coins.
People learn best on their own mistakes but that is very often painful and expensive.
1076  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: After losing did you feel you must return the soonest to win back your losses? on: March 05, 2020, 07:08:40 AM
At first yes, the pressure to cover the loss is always strong. However, it's very important to overcome that urge because that could lead you only to even bigger loss and soon you find yourself in a closed circle.
It's better to cool down the head and start again, it's the question of self control. You'll get money with time, not instantly.
1077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Compulsive gambling. on: March 04, 2020, 09:08:49 PM
So many people saying compulsive gambling/reckless gambling but what is your basis on this? Have you seen a gambler online really do this? or having a testimony himself here and lost a big chunk of money or just a hunch? Maybe on a physical gambling platform, they are more devoted to gambling because the influence of alcohol exists at the same time.

Many people don't realise they have a problem until it's too late, or they just don't want to admit themselves they have a problem.
If someone's life is turning around gambling and that is the most important thing in his life and everything else doesn't matter because of gambling then we can speak about addiction and compulsive gambling. This is not so hard to detect, especialy for gambler's environment, friends and family. It's just the question if addicted gambler is aware of problems and if he wants to be helped.
As far as iI know compulsive gambling is in same category as alcohol or drug addiction so this is very serious social problem.
1078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to get lucky ;) on: March 04, 2020, 07:55:31 PM
What a funny question, like there is a receipe that someone can get lucky. There is no way you can influence that.
What you can get with time, when you become experienced gambler is kind of feeling, sixth sense some would say that you can follow and based on that have some success in gambling. That feeling might help you to make decisions easier.
1079  Economy / Speculation / Re: Coronavirus Forces the Hand of Central Bankers: A Boon for Bitcoin? on: March 04, 2020, 02:59:27 PM
This doesn't make much sense to me. There are already so many discussions about influence of corona virus on Bitcoin but there isn't any, if you ask me, at least not in some significant way to influence the price.
Maybe if we really come to the phase of global pandemia but then again every aspect of human activities will be affected and in negative way.
Also, I don't know where this conclusion.came from that April is historicaly the best month for Bitcoin, it's pure guessing.
1080  Economy / Economics / Re: Can corona virus or any other epidemic disease can collapse Banking? on: March 04, 2020, 01:15:43 PM
Everything is possible but that should be really extreme situation. We would need a far more serious and dangerous situation than we are having now with corona virus. If some catastophic scenario appears like plage was in middeval times or spanish flue after the world war I then humanity would really be in trouble and not only banks would be affected but every area of human activities that exist.
