with 200,000 other  btc

the coins you withdraw 24 hours  later will most likely  be differnt ones

Imagine in 10 years's time, it wont take a week to sinc, but a generation.

the average user will have a pruned version or lite client by then
most people wont need to have the last 16 years of transaction history so i think its a non issue

USA would be laughing stock of the world if they elected a clown like trump

Imagine that fat orangutan hair fucker sitting down at a table of world leaders  opposite  the likes of vladimir putin ..................they would have him for breakfast

he talks about his sucess all the time  but never mentions all the bankrupt  failures he was responsible for  or the fact  he  inherited most of his wealth when his father died in the 80s (some of the most expensive real estate in manhattan if not the world ) and when hes under pressure for ranting about others he resorts to the old arguement ....well,ive got more money than you and threatens to sue them aka bill mayer etc  .......................what a loser
1149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Bounty Hunter on: March 19, 2015, 07:45:55 AM
Why would someone skilled enough at hacking to steal the coins from another skilled hacker be then willing to return them to the rightful owners ?why would he not just keep the coins and be rich  instead of a small  bounty ?

The major btc thefts are almost  all well known exchange owners ,ponzi operators, karpeles ,zhou tong ,trendon shavers ,the mintpal  and BFL guys   etc ...

identifying them and their families is not the problem ,its what the fuck to do with them if they have been too slippery for the police to do anything........theres probably nothing legal you could do to them which makes the only option ...........something else Cheesy
It's obvious that you're knowledge on the matter is limited.
There are different type of hackers, good and bad (white and black). You can often read in the news how someone lost x amount of money, and the person returns all of it. There are such people in the world of hackers too.

Anyone who lost funds due to ponzis', online exchanges, online wallets etc., deserved it.

The Bitcoin police idea has been tried before. It didn't work.
Indeed. The capabilities are quite limited and the authorities are useless.

Its obvious youre as thick as shit so this will probably fly right over your head but lets give it a shot anyway .............
if there is a expert hacker who could hack back stolen btc ,he could also hack coins that havent been stolen
youre confused, white hat hack hacking is  the guys who test security systems for flaws and get paid by companies like apple and google ,not  outright thieves (karpeles, shavers  etc ) who probably never got hacked in the first place and  just pilfered everyones coins

If such a super hacker existed why would he not just hack the early wallets of satoshi and get an easy million coins that way instead of working for honourable  reasons  like a cartoon superhero .............

ps : love it how you blame the victims of every theft and say they "deserved to get scammed"
its attitudes like yours that make scamming btc more acceptable
youre a real credit to the community
glad to have you on board Cheesy
1150  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Donald Trump launching presidential exploratory committee on: March 19, 2015, 03:25:40 AM
i would never  in a million years vote for that fat pompous  arrogant attention seeking  fuck

he spends his time trolling on twitter and arguing with standup comediens and he
thinks hes president material ?? lol

his head is already too big to fit through the white house  doors

the least thing any country needs is a knucklehead like him
1151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Bounty Hunter on: March 19, 2015, 03:08:22 AM
i read it but theres not much info
whats a bounty hunter going to do that the police or courts cannot ?

unless theyre going to break  legs or something and upload to youtube  lol
that would make things a bit  interesting
If you're relying on the police and courts in cases like these, or overall, you're going to have a bad time.
Actually the concept of a bounty hunter was definitely used much much more often in the past. If the guy is very skilled at hacking, he can do a lot of things. The same things that the hacker did. He can hack the funds back, or identify him.

Why would someone skilled enough at hacking to steal the coins from another skilled hacker be then willing to return them to the rightful owners ?why would he not just keep the coins and be rich  instead of a small  bounty ?

Because of the recent strand of hacking and stealing, Bitcoin Bounty was made
http://bitforum.info/t/scammers-beware-bitcoin-bounty-hunter-is-here/405

Honestly, I really hope that everyone supports this kind of program, not to erase online hackers, scammers and thieves, but minimize unfortunate incidents.

As of now, there are 3-5 offers standing on the site. I hope everyone comes forward and doesnt give in to lowlives who benefits in the misfortunes and hardwork of someone.

how do we know your not another scam ?

im sure lots  of people would chip in to have the biggest scammers hunted and punished IF THEY WERE 100% sure you wouldnt just take the coins and disappear ...........

mark karpeles is probably top of the list ..........start with him and work down the list

First of: I do not own this. I just read it somewhere in the forum.  Grin
Read the forum, you will see that the site was started by a reputable developer. I forgot his name.

Well, the best thing that will happen is someone who has the best of skills make this his profession and find these mathafuckin hackers.
Lots of Bitcoins is at stake.

Lots of people have the skills to fuck someone up but how can they advertise an illegal vigilante justice department without being arrested ?
The only way is for them to remain anonymous or leave the bounty in escrow until proof is provided that the target has been successfully terminated and even the escrow would probably get in trouble for this kind of thing

1155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Block chain size/storage and slow downloads for new users on: March 18, 2015, 11:00:09 AM
So now you are trying to force every bitcoin user to have a full node? Just like every webpage visitor has a full server in his house? Satoshi never visioned such a world. He stated that the full nodes will be centralized and that people will use Light clients. Why are you trying to impose YOUR point of view on everyone else? Why don't you let everyone to decide if they are ok with centralized nodes or not? Why do you think that there will not be some kind of trusted full nodes service where people can whitelist and blacklist centralized nodes? Stop trying to limit stuff and stop being MP dog who just follows orders!

If you aren't running a full node, you aren't using bitcoin! That's not me "forcing" anything; it's just a fact. The more apt analogy is gold backed paper currency -- those handling the physical gold are like the full node operators, and those who just pass around paper bills are like the thin client users. It's not inherently wrong to use the bills rather than the metal, but the system shouldn't be crafted around the paper. Your suggestion is that I shouldn't mind that all the gold be stored in a few "trusted" warehouses rather than dispersed throughout the world in many different locations. You seem to gloss over the fact that your level of trust with the nodes isn't the issue; it's that there being few of them makes it trivial for a government to seize the whole thing. Was the demise of the Liberty Dollar due to a lack of trust from his clients? No. It was because a rouge state stole his assets and arrested him.

For what it's worth, MP has not "ordered" me to do anything. I waste my time on the forums against his recommendation. I can't find it in the logs, but I recall asking him if I should post here and him responding in the negative. How about you stop "limiting stuff" to what some bad programmer said and stop following the orders of UnSavoryGarnish.

its not the same as your analogy because people who have lite wallets
are still posession of their own "gold"

the "gold" doesnt belong to the "warehouse" node just because you maybe using a litewallet

i have a lot of coins stored in a  multibit wallet i use when im travelling but theyre not any less secure than coins stored  in my full client node , AFAIK theyre both bulletproof provided the systems dont get compromised by malware or keyloggers or whatever

1156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Block chain size/storage and slow downloads for new users on: March 17, 2015, 08:38:17 PM
Visa will never to able to offer anything related with bitcoin with this 1MB block limit because they will not play the bid-for-space war.

The idea is that they won't have to bid all that much because the limit will keep all the little transactions off the block chain and on the 3rd party ledgers. In this way, debts can build up between companies like Visa and get settled on a daily/weekly/monthly basis via the block chain. Yes, that means poor people don't get to anonymously buy anarchy themed lapel pins, but it ensures that poor people can verify that the worlds supply of money has not been corrupted. The only way to perform a legitimate validation of the transaction ledger is to retain a full copy of it on local devices, a task that becomes cost prohibitive as blocks become larger.

Storage is getting cheaper, bandwidth is getting cheaper ever year, by the time bigger blocks come,I think we'll be able to swallow them, just like now...

There is plenty of.lite wallets for anyone who can't be bothered running a full client

5g internet will be rolling out in the next 2 years in the UK and Europe, speeds of 1GB+ per second have been achieved by Samsung  in south korea already..

http://www.theguardian.com/technology/shortcuts/2014/mar/10/david-cameron-wants-superfast-5g-internet-connection

4k.ultra hd streaming is already available....
Any problems larger blocks cause will be dealt with easily when the time is right
1158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 20MB Fork on: March 17, 2015, 06:36:14 PM
There is no "three-to-one" margin.  You don't get to claim agnostic/DGAF as votes to affirm your silly fork, which actually only enjoys 60% support against the negative/status quo default presumption.

His math is correct though, if you have 60% X and 20% Y then you have a 3-to-1 ratio

I think it will be 4-1 in reality
Before i did any research on it I voted that I was undecided

Now I.know the details I would have voted yes and I'm sure I'm not the only one who didn't have enough info to make an informed choice when this thread was started

1159  Other / Off-topic / Re: Complete the sentence... "I would sell all my Bitcoins if..." on: March 17, 2015, 01:51:54 PM
"I would sell all my Bitcoins if..."

For me the answer is never.

If BTC goes up a lot and makes me very rich, then I will certainly hold on to some part of it. If it falls and goes to 0, I will still hold on to it in the hope that it may recover rather than selling it for little.
No offense, but it seems it just the same as investing in "rocks"
You'll never use them.

im not a geologist but  im guessing the earth and the moon are "rocks" too
as are diamonds ,saphires, rubies ,emeralds and most other things that has value
before we went crazy printing paper money
1160  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 bitcoins. Will I be a millionaire by 2020? on: March 17, 2015, 01:27:50 PM
I have 100 bitcoins. Its 2015. I'm already a millionaire... Do I win £5?

No ,because a million isnt much thesedays
there isnt even a small  house in my area for under a million

it takes several million to have a good life thesedays especially if you have a wife and kids

Yeah, women are expensive. They want to eat out and go to the cinema constantly. So do what I did! Dump her and buy bitcoins for the money you saved Grin

renting 3 hookers  a day would cost more so i may as well keep her ......Grin
