1221  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitmart a good exchange? Now supporting lightning network on: August 03, 2023, 09:01:22 AM
I have not used BitMart crypto exchange before, but I noticed that the exchange is now supporting lightning network.

I do not know how trustworthy BitMart is. I just want to let people know that the exchange is now supporting lightning network. But is the exchange trustworthy?
There are a good number of platforms that support the Lightning Network, is this the only feature you're looking for? They don't have an excellent rating on trustpilot but looking at the one-star reviews:

  • There is no scam reported which is good.
  • Many users reported technical problems.
  • The platform lists a lot of coins that do not have any future pump and dump coins

https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.bitmart.com?stars=1

It is not a scam platform, there are better alternatives and withdrawal limits are not encouraging, you can consider it as an alternative.
1222  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation overpowers the value of money on: August 03, 2023, 08:24:40 AM
You are talking about inflation from a macroeconomic perspective, which is the economy that focused on national income and the economy in a country or in a larger perspective. Here, the role of individuals is to put pressure on state leaders to take a specific monetary policy or to re-elect the president and ministerial staff responsible for monetary policy. Global inflation is not a bad thing, it means that things gain value and therefore more people will start trading and investing, but inflation must be healthy and within manageable limits such as 2% to 5% in most countries, whenever inflation is out of control whenever citizens start in the complaint.

From the perspective of the individual, he cannot make major changes to macroeconomics, but he can reduce the impact of hyperinflation by reducing spending, focusing on investment, and learning a new skill that enables him to increase his income.
1223  Economy / Economics / Re: The leads of Consumption to Productions on: August 03, 2023, 08:16:36 AM
It is a beautiful story, a little long, and you moved between the events quickly, which makes it difficult to know the wisdom of the story, as you focused on the difficult past and how you were a consumer, and you did not mention the important aspect of the story, which is how you turned into a businessman and a person who can generate income and invest in an asset like Bitcoin.
Sometimes the difficulties and painful events in our lives, such as the loss of a family member, the loss of a father or mother for their job, or the loss of the house, preserve you to start working and make your own way, but in general, the earlier you start finding a job and making a profit, the sooner you become rich at an early age.
1224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON is bad coin, here is why on: August 02, 2023, 08:15:05 PM
TRON still have high liquidity, everyone prefers USDT over that blockchain because of the speed of confirmations and cheap costs, it is true that Ethereum fees are starting to be more normal or convenient but still more users are using TRON because of USDT. If USDT moves to any other blockchain other than TRON, we will start the stage of losing investments and liquidity, and then it will turn to any other rarely used blockchain that is not overcrowded.
1225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How are your exchange tokens performing at the moment? on: August 02, 2023, 07:53:13 PM
this year has been quite turbulent for some altcoins, especially exchange tokens. I've invested in a few and performance-wise, only a handful of them have shown decent growth throughout the year. How about you? Do you have any exchange tokens in your holdings, and what are your thoughts on their market performance this year? Let's discuss our experiences and perspectives on how these tokens have been faring in this volatile market.
Exchange tokens are not investment tokens, but assets that the platform prints and burns from time to time to provide liquidity, and some buy them to reduce trading fees within CEXs, as it cannot be traded on a large scale or a large number of platforms, in addition to its price being linked to the platform, which makes it centralized. It can be invested when there is an event that will cause an increase in its price, such as an expansion of the platform’s activity, an increase in the number of users, or any reason that makes you believe that its price will increase. Here, you buy it for a short time that does not exceed a month, and you sell it after that.
1226  Economy / Economics / Re: what do we thinking about investment target? on: August 02, 2023, 07:28:00 PM
It is good to invest your money, but inflation is a big problem in the economy. If you are an employee, your salary will decrease in terms of value, and in return expenses will increase, and then the money that you can invest will decrease. Less investment, less return, and with the increase in expenses, you may reach a stage where you need additional work or increase working hours. To find yourself at the same point that started because of inflation, this means that it is additional work and fewer hours of sleep, then a worse investment.

Inflation is a dilemma and you need a lot of precautions to avoid it, and investment may be one of them, but focusing on low-risk investments is better, as you may need liquidity at any time.
1227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another Fud in the market and bitcoin volatility on: August 02, 2023, 07:16:02 PM
Well, i just read this US Government Considering Fraud Charges Against Binance and the market has started to dump again after we saw the recovery last night.

The movement from $28,000 to a price close to $30,000 is not some bullish news and market pumps. It is a natural movement for the price. We cannot say that the price rose unless the rise was above $38,000. All prices below that are a price move that has continued in The same movement since the moment of breaking $28,000.

I clicked on the link and found:

Quote
Semafor reports the potential charges while noting that prosecutors are currently, “considering other options such as fines or deferred non-prosecution agreements,” according to sources. This outcome would be a beneficial compromise, holding Binance to account for fraudulent behavior while protecting consumers.

It is nothing but rumors and there are compromises so as of now there is no reason for fraud accusations against Binance and Binance is complying with the regulations.
1228  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Even in escrow can get scammed :| on: August 02, 2023, 07:03:47 PM
What are you trying to buy?
Not only you can get scammed, but you may buy a hacked, stolen or illegal voucher, and then you will bear the legal responsibility, no matter how tempting the offer is, but the mucus is greater.
If I were you, I would prefer vouchers that you can buy from the store, I can buy it physically, take a picture of the voucher or the gift card and then it will be fine, but the guarantee does not work well in such cases, the seller must be reliable, otherwise do not try to buy.
1229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Potential Threat to XRP on: August 02, 2023, 06:33:34 PM
Why do XRP proponents keep claiming that it's going to replace SWIFT for international transfers?
There is a big difference between the number of transactions that the SWIFT system can process versus the number of transactions that the Ripple blockchain can process. SWIFT is not a financial institution and therefore it is different from Ripple as XRP is a product and has a market value and we can consider it as money or guarantees according to the definition but in the SWIFT system there is an average of 44.8 million messages daily

These lies come because banks are open to blockchain technology, which may be an alternative to SWIFT, and here we are talking about technology, not about EXR or any central or decentralized cryptocurrency.

1230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's the best Altcoin for this moment to accumulate right now? on: August 02, 2023, 06:22:13 PM
I want to find a good Altcoin to invest in before the bull starts, also have a non-custodial exchange. This means, that we have complete control over our funds. If there is, please help convey it, because a lots of new altcoins was born every day.
A non-custodial exchange or wallet does not mean that you are safe, as some cryptocurrencies can add a smart contract to freeze coin even if they are inside your wallet or burn it or not be able to withdraw after a certain date. you must be careful in choosing cryptocurrency, otherwise there is no difference between withdrawing your currencies from the platform or leave it here.

Ethereum, Matic, DOGE, XLM, UNI, Monero
This is not investment advice.
1231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Way to explain what is the bitcoin on: July 30, 2023, 02:01:26 AM
This is the strangest link I have heard in a while and the strangest link between bitcoin, river and water. It is true that bitcoin can be like a cup that collects water (money) for you, but it is not the only one and it is wrong to consider it better than gold and other assets.
Altcoins can be considered as a cup with holes, as its value decreases with time, and keeping it for a long time leads to thirst, so I can find some logic in your analogy. What people care about now is turning this water into money
1232  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How To Buy Bitcoin On Coinbase - Step-by-Step Guide on: July 30, 2023, 01:43:27 AM
Is this your YouTube channel? I did not find the forum link in the description, so you can add it in the description of the video in the future.
The video is of short duration, but it contains an explanation of general concepts. Are you planning to launch more episodes? If that is true, then I suggest that you create an episode on the central platforms, because mostly here you will find that many people avoid them. There is a huge written content that you can convert into videos on YouTube.
1233  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Which app would you recommend for crypto news? on: July 30, 2023, 01:07:23 AM
You should consider doing other kinds of marketing since most of the time a thread like this won't get you anywhere. Your app has been around for a month or so according to your forum activity, yet the download is still very low. Either your app doesn't look attractive or it is not high in demand since other tools usually offer the same function. I've seen many aggregator projects in the past but most of them don't stay around that long, maybe the competition is too tough or the market is not really big to begin with.
Looking at the comments on this topic, I doubt that anyone has read or clicked on the link, let alone download the application. Most of the responses spoke in general and did not address the idea that the purpose of creating this topic which is to promote the application that appears as the first option.
If it was a website, it would get a few free clicks, but I don't expect anyone to download an app here for free (unless they are a campaign rewards for downloading the app)
1234  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think Bitcoin Market Need Promotes for Price up ? on: July 30, 2023, 01:00:09 AM
Prediction of the price in the short term will not change badly. There is still a good possibility that the price will be above 40,000 before the end of the current world, and perhaps 100,000 before the end of next year, so there is no difference between a temporary return of 25,000.

Currently bitcoin only needs the support of big countries with good economic power to get most other countries to adopt it. But conversely, it would also be the same if big countries like America and others banned bitcoin completely including trading and mining. There will be a big impact because of the regulation, but I don't think it will happen in such a short time.
For the price to reach levels above $100,000, you are talking about a market capacity of about $3 trillion, which is possible without more governments adopting Bitcoin. Therefore, at the present time, Bitcoin does not need any support from any country, or at least to reach the price of $100,000, which is the bet of the cycle. which may extend over a period of four years.
1235  Economy / Economics / Re: Connect data to accelerate cashless payments on: July 30, 2023, 12:20:57 AM
Cashless payment has become popular due to inflation and not due to factors such as the outbreak of disease around the world. These applications enable you to spend, buy, sell and transfer millions of dollars with the click of a button. You do not need to have an armored car to transport the money or be worried about where to put that money. It is your phone and remember the password, so the adoption of these services in poor and middle-income countries is increasing rapidly due to inflation.
The millennial generation has a phone, and almost most of the world's population has smart phones. All of these things have become encouraging banks to invest in banking services, but cash is still accepted in most countries of the world.
1236  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do exchanges impact the performance of newly listed token? on: July 30, 2023, 12:15:26 AM
It depends on the project. If he spent a lot of currencies in the first stage and sold them to promote the project before listing, the price of listing would definitely be very high because everyone would start selling.
If the developer team owns a large amount of currencies, they will definitely try to sell them because they do not believe that there is a future for the project. If there is an increase in the price after listing, everyone will inevitably try to sell, hoping to make a profit and buy again at a lower price.
Therefore, the post-listing period is a period to avoid buying, no matter how high the currency price is or kept rising, because a strong correction often occurs. if you had a currency before listing, it is better to sell it immediately after listing, and vice versa, which is to avoid buying any currency immediately after listing it.
1237  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Had 165k ETH stolen last night. on: July 29, 2023, 11:49:37 PM
Well, at least reply for what people has asked to offer you some help.

After searching the address in google, i found this reddit thread[1], OP is much more active there responding every reply, only if the OP here is the same person on that reddit thread.

[1] https://www.reddit.com/r/ethereum/comments/15cc1la/lost_165k_in_eth_straight_talk_about_crypto_safety/
He have another topic in which he talks about the same story here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5461357.msg62616437#msg62616437 And really,
The date shown on Reddit is 29 and here is 28, so I don't know if the problem is in formatting the dates, or is it the same user.

I don't know what the details of the story are, but with the loss of such an amount and without disclosing legal data, no one will be able to help him, whatever it is. Details we give him here.
1238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who else uses move to earn apps for the same reasons I do? on: July 29, 2023, 11:35:41 PM
The idea of the project is very suspicious, and Bitget has a long history of closing accounts and supporting payment for investors under any pretext, so what you are talking about is scam.
If you have heard of it late, this does not negate that it exists and continues, and I do not know if you are sincere in this proposition, especially since there are several beginner accounts that have become promoting the same idea, so if this was motivated by coincidence, I advise you all to stay away from any investment related to Bitget.
1239  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Had 165k ETH stolen last night. on: July 29, 2023, 02:02:58 PM
People in an online forum can't help you recover millions of dollars because all the information we have is available to everyone. you have to start by filling out papers at the nearest police station, enclosing your data, source of income, and details of what happened.
And if you have little money or acquaintances, you can ask a specialized company to track those currencies with the issuance of personal data and statements that you will get from the police.

If you are lucky, the money will be frozen through a judicial order from the court, but it depends on the source of income and on the state whether it is friendly to cryptocurrencies and whether they cooperate or not.
1240  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I'm new here on Bitcointalk because Bitcointalk is important for Bitcoin on: July 29, 2023, 01:47:25 PM
Satoshi build Bitcoin and as a coder, he really listened to community feedback and tried to explained it because Bitcoin was (and is) still very technical. Bitcoin is a great technological piece because Bitcoin needs to be safe from hacker. Much money is stored in Bitcoin network and if it's not safe, we are screwed, everyone.
Bitcoin was not hacked, not because it is safe or because Satoshi developed it securely, and if this is true, it is because of its nature. Bitcoin, by its central nature, cannot be hacked because it is not the servers of a central company or service, but only paired spending is possible if the hackers have the longest chain starting from 51% from the network to launch a successful attack. learn a lot in a short time by reading some books or watching YouTube videos.
