So you are taking ICM's post as a sign of something? if anything he is acknowledging they forked his coin and is actually giving them advice, that right there shows an adult mature mentality, instead of being pissed for not crediting his work he's all chill about it. Invest (speculate) in the Dev's talent, creativity and ability to write the code, that's what you all should be doing instead of whining that a major feature is a few hours overdue. damn brats fighting for scraps................. I was just quoting it since others were claiming it had the same code, implying he was the dev for Crycoin, and it seems someone else just forked it. Holding myself as it looks like a shakeout with obvious suppression. As long as the dev sticks around I think the price and demand will go up. |

the highest its been is 97k if it gets back there consider it the moon. Limited progress with limited visibility if you want to see the moon, get information about crave to the general public / reddit darknet. The moment any shitty marketplace goes up that sells goods like outlaw markets in crave. You will see intergalactic travel. Currently this price matches the features and exposure of the coin to date.

English is my language and I don't know wtf he's saying.  what dont you understand I said the price cannot go up without further adoption. I could just buy a bunch and the price could go up, so clearly it can go up easily. I think in this situation it is really just a lot of nervous people waiting for solid progress. If/when it happens, many of us will buy a lot more, and the price will go up. (to break 100k we do need some solid milestones reached though, I agree, or people willing to buy anyway...) |

+1 Seems like the easiest route. Considering icash is a clone. :-) No brainer, go with the easiest safest route, this looks like the one. Cutting the supply like Evan. Key point in starting out is just a safe functional Darkcoin clone and then we can worry about variations down the road if need be. |

I am a trusted member of the community, started the VNL IRC channel, and would offer a % of my VNL mining without need to worry about leaks. I mine with 8 280x cards. I believe in the coin and plan on holding them. Thanks.
Naive you guy No, he's not naive. I am naive  Spend days and weeks on test chains knowing that I'll lose my coins. The premise was strong: Everyone with the same chance, fair distribution etc... Guess what? The first thing dropped was the fair distribution. John said it was difficult to do, had more important things to do. There was no such thing as test chains, there were forks because the client was in an alpha phase and was labeled an experimental client. I managed to fork 2-3x while solo mining for 2 months, all I had to do is to follow the forum closely and play with backups and do full syncs. The distribution is fair compared to 99% of the coins ever launched. Edit: You can't just start mining with an experimental client and leave your client on for days/weeks, do nothing and expect to get rich. According to what you wrote you did exactly that, because how else would you have not noticed that you are on a fork. Were you here from the beginning? There were test chains, that they were exactly that. You participate, but your earned coins don't count. I participate knowing that. I solo mine some thousand coins and they are lost. I don't complain. I knew that. What I did not knew is that the "fair distribution" thing was the first feature to be dropped. I am not crazy about it either, but that wolf0 guy released some updated improved miner, and didn't have to. Key point is the marketcap is super low and price is super cheap. I can just mine something else and buy VNL if I want, although I mining VNL as well just for fun. Monrero and Darkcoin and others had better miners earlier, as some people had the skill to figure that crap out, annoying as can't personally modify some code or whatever they are doing, but at least I can figure out this coin is valuable faster than most others, and buy it cheap now. |

Why do all the pools have 0 hashrate? How can I mine this coin? what is the current reward and when does it halve? I read that POW is over but can I still mine?

If you were quite sure it would be successful and tradable then it could be a profitable move. I went overboard with XCH and burned like a Bitcoin worth, and only got a fraction of my money out in the end. Might not be the same here, but you might be locking up coins away from trading for a time. (unless this dev does a better job than the Viacoin dev) |

+1 Would be nice to hear of the development progress and maybe of the effects of bringing NFD onboard. It's been a while and very quiet here. NFD merge has greatly improved the development as they have a lot of talent with coding. I know Hzxchange is in progress and updates are coming soon for other things. |
