1301  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Primedice 2015 Giveaway Round 1 on: January 05, 2015, 08:58:11 PM
Not accepting further entries, a lot of people who entered were not 50 activity and will not be paid but we will still be paying out the first 200 individuals who followed the rules.

Please give me time to organize and send these (likely sometime tomorrrow).

Payments have been sent to the first 200 eligible people. If you didn't receive payment then you likely didn't follow the rules/meet the requirements.

I will also be reviewing the feature requests when making my considerations for new features.

We simply created a new wallet.dat since the other one was filling up too much. The new deposit address you receive will not change for at least another 6 months.
1304  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | The Most Popular Bitcoin Game | 1% Edge | Active Chat | Free BTC on: January 03, 2015, 09:26:43 AM
When you re click the deposit button you will receive a new deposit address. Your deposit address will stay the same unless you do this however. So if you want to keep the same deposit address, do not click the deposit button.

I am not usually not someone who complain, but I have a little problem here.
I wanted to make a small withdrawal of only 0.098 BTC. I get a message saying 'Withdrawals are currently unavailable due to maintenence or technical reasons.'

Please solve this asap. This is just a small withdrawal and should be sent fast.

Edit: I tried it again one minute later, and it worked. I don't know what the problem was, but it seems that it is solved.

Please try refreshing and submit the request again. This error is appearing frequently but refreshing once or twice makes it go away. We're working on fixing this now.

Also the giveaway will primarily be done after New Years Eve as I know many of you will be spending your time partying with friends and family. I will be making an official post regarding this within 24 hours.

I didnt get my money yet !
Please check my Acc

Hi

I wanted withdrawal some bits but site had some technical problems at that time and this amount was deducted from my account !
What am i do now ? Does this process done in the future ?

Still no money in My wallet !!!!

Still no answer and no response to any e-mail and my money is in air !

Nothing change ! No payouts

Payout problem? Sure? I never had problems

If you didnt have such problem , it doesn't mean there isn't such a problem !
Others have same problem and stuuna said we will fix it But i need my money now not 7 days later !
Where are you stunna ? why you don't answer any email ?

Be careful guys in withdrawal , if site has got technical problem you will loss your money !
First check with some bits like 0.001 BTC then withdrawal your money !
They scam me and no answer for 4 days !

1. You submitted a ticket two days ago.

2. You've never made a deposit and are accusing me of scamming you of faucet funds (my own money)

3. Double-Check the address you cashed out to, occasionally cashouts aren't being logged in the transaction log on your account (should be solved soon) but there aren't cases of cashouts not sending unless they are held for manual review which yours was not. When you cashed out did you get a withdrawal error? Send that information along with your wallet address to support and I will look into it.

I generally make it a point to move tickets like this to the bottom of the pile. It's pretty impatient to send an email on New Years and then start opening up scam accusations one day later. Support is taking longer than usual per case currently due to the high amount of people attempting to social engineer support for funds Which never works but wastes our time. As a result of that I've been doing all supports that deal with lost funds. We are working on transitioning to a help desk system and building a better system for dealing with password recoveries which are a major time drain for both us and users attempting to recover their accounts.

Did Stunna give any indication about what kind of giveaway he's going to do?

Giveaway will be officially starting on Sunday (should also coincide with 3 billion bets) but we may give away funds even sooner to people active on chat, I'm still working out all the details. It will be a combination of trivia, random giveaways and rewarding highrollers. We will also be giving all our chat moderators funds to giveaway as they please. Full details coming soon.

I've posted a quick bitcointalk giveaway here in the meantime:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=911256.msg10006474#msg10006474

Our general idea for the highroller giveway aspect of it is the following:

Primedice Block Game Giveaway! (working idea)

How it works:
The round will begin at <time>, which will be announced 1 hour prior on Facebook and Twitter.
The round will last for 6 blocks, or approximately one hour.
This is to ensure that the game is fair, and also makes it more random!

Game Overview:
When the 6th block is mined, the game is over.
All users on the current high roller list at the moment the 6th block is mined will enter the giveaway.
The more times you are on the high roller list, the more likely you are to win!

Winner decision:
The winner will be decided by creating a number between 0 and 99.99 from the 6th blocks mined hash.
The first person on the high roller list will have the number 0.00 to 1.99, the second 2.00 to 3.99 and so on.
The winner will be credited <winner> BTC, the highest better on the list will be credited <highest> BTC.

Game Strategy:
To increase your chances of winning, stay on the high roller list at all times.
After the 5th block is mined, the 6th block could happen at any time, even as little as 30 seconds!
So make sure you have at least one bet on the list.
The highest better on the current list will also receive 1 BTC!

Still looking for creative suggestions.

We'll be giving away coins on New Years, if anyone has any suggestions on how we should distribute those coins, please leave your suggestions below. Otherwise they'll primarily be given out to active people in chat and through trivia.

Hope everyone's having a great holiday thus far.

Hi Stunna,

Forum newbie here, but long time Bitcoin/PD user.
I recently discovered a bug @ PD and according to the FAQ:
Quote
I think I found a bug, can I get paid for this?
Primedice offers a competitive whitehat bounty program. If you find an undiscovered bug that we determine is worth fixing you will be credited based on the severity of the bug. We’ve already paid out 30+ BTC for honest disclosures. Please contact support@primedice.com with your report.
I wrote an email 5 days ago to support@primedice.com explaining the error and included some screenshots.
It seems that the bug is fixed now, but I never got a response with a 'thank you' message and/or any bounty as stated in the FAQ.

Sent you a reply, unfortunately we can only pay for new issues that haven't already been reported. Appreciate the thought nonetheless.

Something we're working on is a better system for providing support to users and reseting passwords. There are many fake password change requests and we've gotten to the point where we will only change a user's password after a massive amount of proof of ownership is shown. If you are submitting a password change request and have a balance of zero, simply create a new account, larger balances can be transferred to new accounts after sufficient proof is shown.

Hi Stunna,

I have been waitting for my deposit for third day now and its still not credited

here are the transaction id's

b8db44e30ed4d153cb55dd1671e5e2fdcbe3037ebc628faeb10482c801f3dac7

and

PD name: djarno

These deposits are not sent to a Primedice deposit address.

I explained to mod that my deposit address was different when i deposited these btc, i kept getting the deposit error after spam clicking it i got the address and thats where i sent the money after that i never received it and next day i had different deposit address and never received the balance

Please don't tell me that you have installed a bitcoin price ticker. If that's the case, you most likely have sent the BTC to someone else.
The price ticker changes original BTC addresses on web pages to their addresses.

I haven't installed anything, i have talked to primedice mod and he sayd there were other people who encountered this problem (deposit address changing)

That deposit address has never been stored on the Primedice Bitciond server. That transaction ID is not associated with Primedice in any way what so ever.

The transactions sent from that 'deposit' address are also not to do with Primedice at all. I'm assuming this was a random transaction taken from the blockchain?

earlier also I have seen people doing that. They take random transactions from block hain and claiming that they havnt received their deposit. I have even seen a casino owner refunding a person his coins that he never sent to his site. People are disgusting.

Those deposits are to PRC account. He cashed them out and has stated in chat that this btctalk account is not his.
However he posted these transactions in the PRC chat so anyone could have copied them.

Tnx for clearing this out and confirming that he tried to scam .

Thanks for clearing that up, there's been a massive increase in the amount of people who have been attempting to social engineer us for coins, it's pointless because it never works but it makes us more skeptical of legitimate people and greatly delays our ability to solve supports. I'll start flagging any of them that post here with false reports with negative trust.

Perhaps a little more on topic, I don't think they're actually postponing the sig campaign when people bump this thread.  I understood the threat to be aimed at people asking "daddy are we there yet?" about when it starts.

Exactly. Though I don't think he was being serious about the week postponement per post (just like I wasn't).

Pretty much ready to go Smiley

What are you waiting for then? Cheesy
Get ready so start counting people...

Was going to release today but realized a way people could exploit the automated payout system through deleting posts & reposting. It's a quick fix we'll have sorted ASAP.

1318  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Charlie Shrem is scammer, watch out on: December 20, 2014, 06:19:04 AM
I can't believe that this has not been resolved yet or a payment arrangement hasn't been made. It looks like Charlie has been given the benefit of the doubt but his disappearance and lack of cooperation is starting to cast this in a rather bad light here.

I'm sure most people here have read the news, given his current position the delay isn't completely unreasonable and this is what I had somewhat suspected was the case but to a much greater extent. If I were still to buy the debt I would buy it at a drastically reduced cost than the 10% discount OP offered. If charlie is somewhat responsible he should make it his duty to have someone within his family or network contact bracek and sort out this situation on his behalf.

I wish you (bracek) the best of luck in reaching him and getting your coins returned and I'm sorry you had to deal with this sort of unfortunate situation.
1319  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | The Most Popular Bitcoin Game | 1% Edge | Active Chat | Free BTC on: December 20, 2014, 05:55:50 AM
We've been working on making a lot of changes at Primedice for the better.  However, we've learned not to announce things until they are in final stages. Everyone on the team is a perfectionist and is only interested in making updates that truly push the experience further which is one reason why we haven't released many significant changes the past few months. I'm confident Primedice is the best game in the bitcoin world but I also see many things we can improve upon and will work as hard as possible to achieve this.

The elephant in the room is still the 'robbinhood' situation. I've wanted to share the full account of what happened but unfortunately I'm unable to disclose information on that currently due to an ongoing investigation of that player. Certain members of this community such as Dooglus and Theymos know much of the story and can corroborate that neither the PD database nor website were in any way hacked and it was simply a successful attack involving the server seed. The issue has since been fixed and we've set up a safeguard to prevent similar abuse from happening in the future, I will once again stress that no users were negatively impacted by this, only our team was.

I haven't been as active the past few months as I once was, however the continued support of this community is not something I have ever taken for granted. I'm leaving my full time job after the holidays and will be able to devote 100% of my time towards PD and its vast and diverse community. If anyone has recommendations on what they would like to see changed or added, now is the best time to voice it. We're not afraid to take big risks and specifically want ideas on adjustments we can make to the game/interface to make it as entertaining as possible. Wishing everyone a safe, fun and lucky holiday season.

Seems like the results are very close in the Bitcointalk poll for favorite gambling site.

If Primedice is your choice when it comes to gambling, please take the time to vote; your vote might just make the difference!
