Yep, happy hours are coming back soon! We've pretty much cracked down on all faucet bots so we can now work on giving more out from faucet.
1322  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Charlie Shrem is scammer, watch out on: December 18, 2014, 06:08:10 AM
I disagree with the consensus in this thread. I haven't met or spoken to him but I believe he's a trustworthy person, from what I can see it simply seems like he doesn't have access to enough bitcoins at the moment.

I'm willing to seamlessly buy the debt at a fair price and allow Charlie up to 6 months of zero scrutiny to return the funds as long as he is fully aware of what's going on and approves the debt transfer. I've been following this thread for a while and I believe there is a good chance he will return the funds. Before moving forward I'd also like some sort of update from him, I'm a patient person but I'd like an idea of when he will have available funds.

PM me your offer for the debt and I can send payment immediately after my above conditions are reached.
I would be careful dealing with barcek, (look at his username - it is very close to Obama's first name - certainly untrustworthy) he seems to not be the most honest trader on here, not by far.

I know that he has posted an address that he said will not change, and asked someone to quote him in case his account were to get hacked. Someone had quoted him on this thread, but after checking the entire thread twice I am unable to find either message.

If you do get an offer from barcek I would suggest having badbear restore the deleted posts and getting a signed message from the same address that was posted. The only address that barcek has posted is here.

Good call, I'd likely be leaving that burden on Charlie though. If they have communication through another channel and he can confirm that this is indeed the correct person I would require him to pay me back the remaining coins regardless of whether or not his confirmation was correct. It shouldn't be difficult for him to 100% prove it and it would be a small amount of effort for a 6 month payment extension without someone constantly bad mouthing his name/reputation.
1323  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Charlie Shrem is scammer, watch out on: December 18, 2014, 05:32:50 AM
I disagree with the consensus in this thread, I think these funds will most likely be repaid with delay. I haven't met or spoken with Charlie but I believe he's a reasonably trustworthy person, from what I can see it simply seems like he doesn't have access to enough bitcoins at the moment.

I'm willing to seamlessly buy the debt at a fair price and allow Charlie up to 6 months of zero scrutiny to return the funds as long as he is fully aware of what's going on and approves the debt transfer.  Before moving forward I'd also like some sort of update from him, I'm a patient person but I'd like an idea of when he will have available funds.

PM me your offer for the debt and we'll move from there.

1325  Economy / Gambling / Re: PrimeDice.com automated betting ISSUE/ERROR (WARNING) on: December 15, 2014, 08:38:36 AM
The autobetting on Primedice has been flawed since the start this is a known fact.
Started with not stopping on loss when it was set, rolling 5-7 times after the bot had been stopped, now the issue you pointed out.

The autobet on PD is flawed it is as simple as that. Is it caused by lag or too many users, maybe but the fact still remains, the autobet has issues.

Duplicate the result and I will heavily reward you, I'm 100% confident in auto-bet. There's seemingly no way that a 0.05 input would place a 0.5 bet unless the user accidentally put in that amount. We have a large sample size of 20M rolls per day, majority from auto-bet which have been completely issue free. If what OP is claiming is true it means that there is a massive fundamental flaw in our bet logic.
1326  Economy / Gambling / Re: PrimeDice.com automated betting ISSUE/ERROR (WARNING) on: December 15, 2014, 03:15:27 AM
Yet another example of someone claiming the site has 'glitches' when they lose money. As our support said, we have  thousands of people betting with auto bet daily and an issue like this has never occurred. If you are able to duplicate the issue we will gladly refund you in full with a bonus. Given that there's been 100s of millions of rolls on auto-bet without issue I'm tempted to believe this is personal error.

I say this often, please, don't gamble more than you can afford to lose and exercise caution when possible.

Any last suggested revisions to the allocation of points per forum section? Will be launching very soon and it'll be difficult to change later on.

Thanks for keeping us in the loop.  While this might make it a bit more difficult to keep track of your expected payout, I think it's definitely a good idea not to pay as much for off-topic, etc.

Won't be difficult at all. Thus the weekly payments opposed to the original monthly ones.
1328  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] (Staff Only) Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: December 12, 2014, 11:38:30 AM
Here's the forum sections and what they will be 'worth' for posting in. This is relevant to the decided payout for your user group. As in if your a full member and your getting 0.0009 per post, 3 points will be 0.0009, 2 points will be 0.0006 and 1 point will be 0.0003.

Campaign is still not open yet, just letting everyone know the values of sections beforehand!

Hope that makes sense!

Some of the more intelligent people visit and converse in politics & society, i dont know if the people who post in this section are interested in primedice but i would assume generally they are going to be better customers for any website.  Generally... Intelligence = success = more money to spend or more influence over communities.

Thanks, I agree. We'll change that one too.

If anyone else has suggestions about some sections being unfairly allocated points and you think it'd be beneficial to change, let me know here Smiley

Any new updates on the topic?
I think they were gonna start within a week.
:/
Sorry for being crtical but you guys should stick to what you say.

Also, why dont you guys start paying 0points for off topic board? That would be a great service to the forum.

Just fine tuning things at the moment. Shouldn't be too long.

Enrollments won't be closing so if you're worried about being enrolled in another campaign and having to forfeit payment there to sign up, you shouldn't be.

No, in total he wagered 248 coins but dissappeared after 210 coins and obviously I only got commission on that 210 coins.

Working on this ASAP. Think I know exactly what is causing this.

I noticed that games/rounds is not listed here. I assume (hope) that these posts are worth nothing.

I am also somewhat surprised that both Beginners/Help and Service Discussion are not worth more. For example a newbie could potentially see a PD advertisement decide to gamble at PD (and do so exclusively once they see how many features it has - at least potentially). I would think that Service Discussion would eventually have (and am somewhat surprised that it does not have more) threads discussing bitcoin gambling sites. Bitcoin discussion is also very heavily watched/read and would think advertisements here would be, theoretically worth more.

Other then the above I think this system aligns incentives for people to post in sections where PD's potential customer's will likely be reading/participating in threads the most, which should give you the most "bang" for your advertising bitcoin.

I also noticed that the sections that tend to be spammy are worth much less then the other sections, which should result in (even before other safeguards are put in place) less overall spam.

Thanks for pointing that out! Games & rounds will not be worth any points.
1333  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] (Staff Only) Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: December 11, 2014, 06:25:44 AM

I'm having a hard time trying to imagine the minimum and maximum potential with this campaign for a HERO member.

So what is the min-max potential here for a HERO member?  Compared to the last time where one could make maximum .5 BTC in 1 month.

Thanks!

There will be no maximum post limit. We will however be fairly strict on who participates. We'll be deleting people who are not good participants, that's how we'll be limiting our costs. This is a better way to go rather than limiting good participants.

What about hero members, and will you update the OP with this information?

The full member thing was simply an example. All amounts will be updated in OP when the campaign is opened again. It's still closed for now. Was just letting people know the section values before hand.

That's an interesting mix I am a bit suprised that helping newbies, poli and meta got into the one point categorization though seem more like 2 point areas
That said it will be interesting to observe how this works in practice

The biggest difference for me is the priority in Gambling contrasted to bit-x which values it as 0 alongside off-topic and some alt boards so it actually will become a calculation based on the rates for the Hero / Sr / Full member classes.

That said it sounds like a lot of tallying so will be interested to know what the cap on posts will be

__

One clarifcation

If I make 10 points in gambling do I tally up the points or treat the categories seperately the points end up the same but just wondering if all the systems will be divisible by 3

Hero
3 points 0.0015
2 points 0.001
1 point 0.005

Senior
3 points 0.0012
2 points 0.0008
1 point 0.0004

FM
3 points 0.009
2 points 0.0006
1 point 0.0003

If its different then I can't say 10 posts in the gambling section is worth 30 points at 0.0003 etc.

We're going to do all the adding up for you! Have it fully automated. You won't have to worry what so ever

1337  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Primedice Scam on: December 10, 2014, 05:27:58 PM
You do realize the rolls are verifiable? There is absolutely no way for the rolls to be rigged that wouldn't be detectable. It's pretty ignorant for you to lose a handful in a row and then assert publicly that the site is a scam. What I'm wondering is how many rolls you actually placed until you hit that streak, you've blocked out your name though unfortunately. I recommend you only wager what you're willing to lose and recognize the possibility of these streaks in the future. These types accusations are insulting and disrespectful to us for these reasons:

1. We paid out over 2300 coins of profit to one winner who we could have attempted to "rig" if we wanted to scam. This has resulted in us having a net loss on PD3. All of his rolls were verifiable and proven to be un-manipulated.

2. You are claiming we scammed you for a handful of dollars worth of coins

3. If we wanted to scam why wouldn't we just open up investments and scam 10k-20k+ coins. There are countless individuals who want to invest hundreds of coins in primedice and we aren't allowing it as there is no provably fair way to do so.

Provably fair is complicated but it works when implemented properly. Please read up here and let me know if you have further questions regarding fairness.

1338  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why do people like Prime Dice? on: December 10, 2014, 02:32:33 PM
i go there because of the wonderful community , site wise i'd rate it a 2/10 .. problems everywhere.

What specific issues are you referring to? I understand roll speed is fairly slow at the moment but we're working real hard on fixing it up, and most definitely will in the near future.
