First, guys stop posting stupid advices when you obviously don't know what you're talking about. Now OP has 3 balances, misses 50 BTC and may encounter double spending later
Second, OP: stickies are here to be read before posting... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=232979.0

As the sticky states, DannyHamilton is right
Also I'm the developer of pywallet so if something goes wrong or if you don't understand something just post it here

When I say BTCT. I mean BitCoinTalk. When I say BTCT++. I mean BitCoinTalk++ Tongue
I was talking about the BTCT Trust system. I hope that clarifies my statement, haha.
Oh I see!
I don't know either then...

EDIT:
Quote
What do you mean "accessible outside this chatbox"?
I think, he wonders if you can access the chat without the script. So a certain page where you can use the chatbox.
Technically you can access it without the script
You just need someone to code a client
I'll make one for smartphones soon
1385  Other / Meta / Re: BitcoinTalk++ script - v0.2.37 on: November 11, 2013, 02:08:30 PM
Some things I saw on BT++chat I'd like to address:

Quote
HostFat: is this the whiskchat?
No, everything is on my server and coded from scratch
I wondered about adding whiskchat but the hack of it kind of persuaded me to make my own

Quote
06:05:59 FreakNet: how do i hide the chat?
I'll soon add a small button to hide it without having to go to the settings page

Quote
12:43:14 bitcoininformation: I have no idea how the trust system of BTCT works
12:43:21 bitcoininformation: I just now that I have a +1 and that I like that.
12:43:27 bitcoininformation: *I just know
12:44:21 digit: yeah its a little mysterious, but 0 is alot better then negatives
12:44:43 bitcoininformation: Yeah it is
Oh Sad
There's nothing complicated: each person can give -1, 0 or +1 to anybody (0 by default obviously)
And the score of somebody is just the sum of all votes he received
Tell me if it is still unclear

Quote
12:45:04 digit: need more ppl to use this great script
12:45:13 bitcoininformation: Indeed, indeed.
Indeed Grin

Quote
10:20:51 HostFat: so, is it also accessible outside this chatbox?
10:28:00 bitcoininformation: No. I checked the source code. Its send to the Jackjack server so I dont think its accessible outsidethis chatbox
What do you mean "accessible outside this chatbox"?
It's only GET requests and JSON response so anybody can easily create a client
I plan on creating a history btw

Another suggestion:
It might be useful to display someones BTCT++ trust rating on their account page. Not everybody sees someone on the forums / looks them up on the forum before they trade with them (or do something like that).
You mean this page? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=113670
Yeah. Exactly that page. Would be nice if the trust rating was shown their too.
Right, good idea
1386  Other / Meta / Re: BitcoinTalk++ script - v0.2.37 on: November 11, 2013, 01:58:00 PM
Also, the add note feature doesn't seem to work in Chrome either.

What browser are you guys using? Maybe I shouldn't be using Chrome?
Image Upload still not working for me in chrome + .37
I don't see the chat anymore, even after disabling and re-enabling again.
did you change the position? you have to write a unit after the number, e.g. 50px or 20%, depends on what you want. happened to me too when i tried to move the chatbox.
Those are correct. I know how to CSS Wink Anyway it shows again.
Testing Image upload, still uploading, nothing happens.

EDIT: Notes work if you hover over them, but when you click on them they say that the value is nothing. This goes away if you do a refresh. Notes cannot be removed, sadly.

Notes and image upload don't work in Chrome, I'll try to solve that by a few days

I don't see how this happened after Theymos and TradeFortress made this video about their security procedures:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-agl0pOQfs
Fucking security how does it work?
1388  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: [Choose the new Pywallet name] - Pywallet 2.1.6: manage your wallet on: November 11, 2013, 01:31:37 AM
Can i consider my cents lost ?
Did you try "bitcoin-qt -rescan"?
If so and if it doesn't help, yes I think they may be lost
You can still send me your wallet so that I can see what I can find inside it

It say:
Quote
pywallet needs 'bsddb' package to run, please install it
But I have already installed it:
Code:
dev-python/bsddb3-5.3.0
Hmm... OSX?

Is there a way to get the output wallet.dat from --recover option without a passphrase ?
Yes, put this as the passphrase:
Quote
I don't want to put a password on the recovered wallet and I know what can be the consequences.
(line 4883 in https://github.com/jackjack-jj/pywallet/blob/master/pywallet.py)
Tell me if it helps you recovering the coins

Hi All,
Wondering if anyone can help me with this error that comes up when trying to dumpmy wallet with balance...
Code:
C:\Users\infinitevs>pywallet.py --dumpwallet --dumpwithbalance
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "C:\Program Files\Python2.7\Scripts\pywallet.py", line 5025, in <module>
    read_wallet(json_db, db_env, determine_db_name(), True, True, "", options.dumpbalance is not None)
  File "C:\Program Files\Python2.7\Scripts\pywallet.py", line 2537, in read_wallet

  File "C:\Program Files\Python2.7\Scripts\pywallet.py", line 2684, in balance
    page=urllib.urlopen("%s=%s" % (site, address))
Thanks in advance Smiley
Did you have access to internet when you tested that?

Thank you very much for this tool! Smiley
Thanks for your feedback Smiley

By the way, how does WalletWizard sounds ? Can be WalletWiz or something.
Sounds good, sounds prety good IMO! I'll consider that!
Thanks a lot!

1390  Other / Meta / Re: BitcoinTalk++ script - v0.2.35 on: November 10, 2013, 10:30:11 PM
hope having chat enabled isnt a huge security flaw
I remove < and >'s, it should be ok

0.2.36 should fully (at least mostly) work (unicode, chatbox display, special chars, etc)
0.2.37 brings some fixes & features

Windows? Tu as python? C'est quoi le problème exactement?
1393  Other / Meta / Re: Building a new trust list... Why should I trust you? on: November 10, 2013, 08:06:31 PM
  • Why should I trust you?
I never rated anybody but the trust ratings I would put would be exact (0 as risked BTC if there is 0 BTC risked)
Things like "I'm here for 2years" is meaningless IMO, but the forum has several proofs of me helping people since I registered
I'd put in my trust list only people I absolutely trust (you don't care if you'd use a 0 depth)

  • What have you done for the community?
Scripts (including pywallet), BT++, helping in the tech forum

  • What are your prior successful trades?
None, I never traded yet
Newbies occasionally send me their wallet to fix them or such
Oh, and 20 BTC that Atlas received and wanted me to send to his address (2011)

  • Aside from yourself, who do you feel is the most trustworthy member of BitcoinTalk?
I'd say etotheipi
I think it's even the only one I'd trust here

This is my current trust list, with 0 depth.
Code:
...
jackjack
...
Wow, kinda honored!

1396  Other / Meta / Re: BitcoinTalk++ script - v0.2.34 on: November 10, 2013, 07:22:44 PM
There's no chat here, and there's a constant *....
also, that link SSL Errors.
You should have an old version, the current one is 0.2.35
1397  Other / Meta / Re: BitcoinTalk++ script - v0.2.34 on: November 10, 2013, 06:44:19 PM
I think chat is broken in Chrome, I just see a random window saying chat.

Nice progress though.
Oh lol, there is a fucking chat now Cheesy Does the chat already work (script version 0.2.34)? Seems bit broken to me, do i miss something? Using Firefox, already tried disabling AdBlock, NoScript and few other plugins
In Firefox it should work in 0.2.34
In Chrome it should work from 0.2.35

Edit: the server returned the history only if your password was correct. It should work now.

Also image uploading in chrome on the latest version is still not working for me.

I chose the file to upload, then click upload, and it gets stuck on "uploading..."
Oh yeah I forgot that
I finish the chat and look at this
1398  Other / Meta / Re: BitcoinTalk++ script - v0.2.32 on: November 10, 2013, 05:33:52 PM
Chrome auto-updates should be working!

Hmm... The script seems bugged in Chrome though...
1399  Other / Meta / Re: BitcoinTalk++ script - v0.2.32 on: November 10, 2013, 04:41:16 PM
I'm still on 2.23! Can you fix the auto-update too Smiley
It appears your host for the files is down.
Yeah totally, I'm working on it

haha sorry didn't mean to push, just wanted to make sure you knew.
No worries Smiley
