1401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Ethereum is Dropping After the Merge? on: October 16, 2022, 09:45:24 PM
If the merge was supposed to fix many of Ethereum’s problems, why is its value still tanking? Huh Huh
It should have fixed its problems but set aside that its problems are not its price and both are different things.

As it tanks right now, you can see that we're in a bear market and that confirms the slow motion of Ethereum on its price increase. That validates the idea that during the bear market.

Whether there's a very good news for the top projects, that won't do because it's the bear that's dominating at this time.
1402  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Payed trading person to follow on: October 16, 2022, 09:02:09 PM
This is correct, while I do not agree with the idea of copying someone else or relying completely on them if someone is looking to do something like this then it is a huge mistake to think they are going to find a legitimate group at telegram of all places, when we know the place is full of scammers which want nothing but to get your money through all means possible, so if someone is looking for something like this their best bet is to use an exchange with this feature.
There are features that allows copy trading but it's not that good at all if someone will rely on completely. That's a wise strategy if we're going to think of it.

But doing that, you'll eventually realize that it doesn't look good if you'll be copying others way of trading because it might not work for you.

I guess for starters, it's a good way to start trading but if you've already learned the basics, make your way to your own strategies.
1403  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 10 years ago on: October 15, 2022, 11:59:04 PM
We like progress and that's hell of a kind for bitcoin.

I don't know, maybe if I'm holding bitcoin or bought at that time. There's a big tendency that I might have sold when it goes $50 - $100 or a thousand.

It's not that easy to hold for so long unless you've forgotten that you have it all of these years and suddenly remembered. That happens for some instances.
1404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need to ask this before I order for a Hardware wallet on: October 15, 2022, 11:19:52 PM
You won't anything to worry about if it's on a hardware wallet like Ledger wallet(Live) and Trezor. Both have good reputation in the community and they're both supporting XRP deposits.

I'm using Trezor T and I can vouch for this. I've bought it last year using some of my profits during the bull run that time. The software and hardware itself constantly updates to prevent security issues. It's easy to setup once you bought it since the instructions are very simple and clear to understand. I got it at around 210$ last year since there is an official seller in our country.
Nice, good buy for you.

I haven't owned a Trezor any model but has Ledger's old model and still didn't able to upgrade since some of the latest versions has got some issues that I've read.

If there's really a new for me to buy a new one, I might look at Trezor so that I got two of the known hardware wallets.
1405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Survey] Do you still play or stop the game? on: October 15, 2022, 10:50:13 PM
If you are playing gambling for example slots and you double money with just a couple of bets on very early part of your game. Will you stop already or continue playing to earn more?
Can do both depending on my emotion.

I can keep the bankroll I've got and then keep going with the profit that I've made until everything is gone and lost. But it's better to walkaway with the profit and capital.

I’ve been on this situation many times before and I keep playing until I get the entertainment that I want and to have more profit. But the result is always ended up losing everything because it’s very easy to increase bet if you knew that your money that you use is a profit.  Cheesy
You need to practice yourself controlling it because you'll lose more if you keep on doing it.
1406  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 15, 2022, 10:13:20 PM
~snip~

Let's just be optimistic that Zion is much different this time and fortunately, it was just a minor injury.
We are optimistic but some events can't be controlled and that's frustrating when I've heard it again but then suddenly turned into nothing to worry about.

I'm optimistic about him and the media and everyone's attention is on him.

Let the kid do the work because I believe he can still make a difference, he is not that prone just like the other players who ended their careers much earlier.
Yeah, moving forward and waiting for him to give some good numbers to the Pelicans.
1407  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why DCA Strategy on: October 15, 2022, 09:45:46 PM
If it's not going to be working one for an individual, what would be the best for them? I don't think that there's other strategy that fits everyone's taste.

DCA is one of the best of it and it's very effective at these times.

Lastly, the strategy can be applied in any crypto investment, bonds, stocks or any commodities. It's a fine choice! However, you can always stick to what is best for you as an individual.
Yeah, not just to accumulation of crypto but also other investment vehicles.
1408  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are we going to recover or continue to dump? on: October 14, 2022, 02:55:00 PM
The current situation is stable. But this situation is never characterized as good. Market may be more dump. We won't see any improvement until the effects of war & inflation subside. But roughly following the cycle of Bitcoin, we may see a major boom in Bitcoin within 2024. So investors must keep those things in mind and make a long-term plan.
I have that feeling when you said that this isn't good. It is because with what I have observed before when it is quite stable, the market plummets afterward.

But I do hope that it isn't going to be like that this time.

As the market is trying to recover after the CPI has been released.
1409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 14, 2022, 01:51:17 PM
I missed the game of Pelicans but upon looking for some updates and news about it, I was shocked and surprised again about Zion Williamson. This guy just got recovered and then he's injured again.

But as per the news, it's not that critical as before. Well, hopefully it isn't so that he'll come back as what he has said.

And the Pelicans could say worth it for the contract they got for him.  Grin
https://www.nba.com/news/zion-williamson-twists-left-ankle
He's okay.
You scared me there for a while after reading your news. I didn't watch their game too.
Quote
“I want to use the right term, but in the moment, it didn’t feel too good,” Williamson said. “It was one of those things that happened and I popped back up like, ‘Yeah, I’m straight.’ Played a few minutes after that, felt fine, then they sent me to the back just to double-check.”
We could say the weight trim is working. If he is still heavy it won't end up like this. Maybe worst.
I've just read a couple of headlines and that made me look at what happened and good thing that it's not that bad as before. He's just getting back on shape and said some words that he's going to show what he hasn't shown before.

I was not able to watch the game but good thing the injury is not serious, otherwise, it will be a complete disappointment not seeing him again this season. The Pelicans have invested on him, trusting his recovery and that he could come back fully healthy again, but if major injury would happen again, I don't know, maybe they will find a way to trade him.
Yep. It wasn't that bad at all.

He could end up like the other players that have been so good and expected a lot but then, injury disabled them. We can name a few of them that have went miserably because of injury.

1411  Economy / Economics / Re: Competition in business on: October 14, 2022, 12:18:10 PM
The good thing about competition is for us, consumers. We're the ones who will enjoy competition from these companies who are offering services and products that we need at most times.

Quality and price are the main key factors of where they're going to compete for and for us consumers, that's the good thing with it. We get the good quality and at the same time cheaper prices for those products they sell.

As with pros, there are also cons.
1. As a small and growing business, you’re bound to lose business to bigger and stronger firms when there’s a strong competition
2. Competition pose a threat to a small business as they could pack up and close up shop
3. A competition could very well turn into a conflict especially if it’s an unfair competition with undue advantage to one side.
As for its cons, you've said it right.

Small businesses will be eaten by the bigger competitors and that's why if you're a business and your niche is also a niche of a bigger enterprise. You better prepare yourself of competing with a better branding and for working harder with what you offer.

Because if that is so, there's a chance that the bigger competitor will offer you some good deal.
1412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High roller looking for KYC casino on: October 14, 2022, 11:50:07 AM
If you want to avoid disclosing your personal details, then do bet at a minimal amount. If you win, you’ll never have trouble withdrawing your money as KYC is not tight for small rewards. But as you’ve said, you are certainly a high roller, so you better bet on highly reputable casinos to secure your funds and avoid delay withdrawals, wherein KYC information is highly required. Otherwise, you might end up gambling in rigged casinos.
It's one way to avoid being KYCed but you are still unsure if someday they'll ask you to provide your details. Even if you're betting with low amount, if the casino starts to ask everyone for KYC, there's no way to avoid it.

But for now, it's one way to at least avoid that because usually the casinos are asking that compliance for the high rollers. And as OP said as a high roller, he can skip it.

For your peace of mind, look at their respective websites supported altcoins and tokens.

1414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CPI and Inflation rate discussion on: October 13, 2022, 11:49:05 PM
What does the Increased in CPI number means for crypto future? It seems the number will keep going up and up, I thought 17,500$ is the bottom but it seems the pain is just getting started, what's your take on this? Inflation rate is now way up to range of that of 1982, do you think 10k BTC is certain at this point?
$17k is still the bottom for bitcoin and we haven't seen it broken yet and hopefully that it's the real bottom.

Any price is possible to be reached no matter how high or low the CPI is. But you know what? It won't be like this permanently, we're just ahead of the time and we might see that it will eventually go down.

We're basically at the height of it but I believe that somehow it will be lessen and the impact of this inflation rate would go positively to bitcoin because that's what it should be and I want to see the inflation rate go down.
1415  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Trading Volume really matter ? on: October 13, 2022, 11:16:17 PM
oh yes it is very important because you can distinguish a project that is really good or not,
for example if in a pancake swap you see a lot of people trading token A then that is a sign that token A has good fundamentals,
because they believe token A can achieve what they want expect, but if you see token B not being traded that's a sign that the project is bad.
Although there can be that way of saying that if a project is good or not through its volume, that is not enough.

But if you're going through dexes, it's really one way of looking for to say what you want to deal because you'll never know if it's going to be as good as what you're thinking.

It's a good standard to be followed.
1416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My worst day in gambling on: October 13, 2022, 07:55:45 PM

We all want to win.

But when we lose, we don't know how we're affecting others and forgetting of becoming responsible for that things that we're obliged to.

That's why a gambler must be responsible and avoid getting a loan and letting their parents pay for it. Don't take a loan if you're going to gamble it and if you don't have money to pay for.
Everyone wants to win and everyone have the hope of winning. But, the sad part we loss control in no time and the same makes our winnings and holdings go into the wallet of the gambling house.

As suggested for the purpose of gambling one should not take a loan. We don't have the assurance we'll win, but the loss will lead to depression, regular interest settlement and the mind wavering to find ways to recover the loss. This continues. Good is to know our limits and spend.
If the depression comes out, that's a harder effect that might tend to result in more complex problem not just for the gambler but to his/her family as well.

Be ready when you gamble.

Be ready to win and to lose and don't ever think that you'll use others money in gambling. It's better when you lose, you own the money so that you don't owe it to anyone and you'll be alone in experiencing that loss.
1417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Sites in the Country doest allowed on: October 13, 2022, 06:52:16 PM
Your image vague and better be removed.

What strategy do gambling developers to expand their market to countries which do not allow any type of gambling?
Do they continue with allowing users to use VPN, or do they have "some trick"?

I ask the question because curious many gambling sites operated in "that country" look to exist and are very developed with a big profit of billion of dollars.

I don't know exactly, I had a bad thing on my mind, they are bribing government officials and Police in order to keep operating, This is my assumption only, maybe you are here and can tell the truth.
You've just answered your question. If an online casino isn't allowed to a country that you're asking then that's for sure that users from that location are using VPN.

Some casinos allow it and many that don't.

As long as the use of VPN is just for accessing it then there's no issue to that casino as long as they are allowing it.

1419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ETH price keeps decreasing? on: October 13, 2022, 05:48:57 PM
It's because of the trend.

Bitcoin is still the reason why it hasn't move that much even after the merge and from being pow to pos. And as the CPI report has came out, there's still another reason why it wouldn't go up.

Well, it's going to be a matter of time again until we see it move. This verifies that we're in a bear market and it could stay in there for quite a while.
1420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: October 12, 2022, 11:53:53 PM
so its very clear on day bnb called the king of cryptocurrency.
I would have to disagree on that statement.

Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrencies and ETH is the king of altcoins. Well, someday BNB would have that entitlement? I don't think so, I like BNB and holds a bit of it.

But I've never came up to that point of saying that it will be the king of cryptos. I want to make a profit from it and I'm good by just having that.
