1481  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do many people call Bitcoin "digital gold"? on: July 22, 2021, 04:50:27 PM
I think the price of gold could be worth more than it currently is if not for the industrial uses and possibly fake gold in circulation.

Bitcoin deserves the price at the end of your post if it can do alot more without compromising on its ideals. And it deserves the name digital gold but for some reasons I'm not sure it should be called Digital Gold
1482  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to earn and save more? on: July 22, 2021, 03:22:42 PM
What business are you more motivated to do and why?
I think if you focus more on providing very useful & safe services to people and less about earning, it will become easier to find something that can earn you sustainable income.
If you are trustworthy and provide things that people really need or can't do without, at affordable prices, I believe you will attract yourself customers especially if you treat them well. Hope you answer the question.

Guy clicked on phishing link because the bitdefender showed green tick to it.

How is that possible... I mean a phishing site getting a green tick? Guess the site would be very close to the real one in similarity to be missed by a human or AI/bots who probably gave the green tick.
Anyway, it's important to always double check and not just completely put your trust in things like that

1484  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do most cryptocurrencies rise and fall together? on: July 22, 2021, 10:43:33 AM
I guess it's due to the interconnectedness of this space (assuming it's not intentional).
I think you can prevent your project from being affected if you could become completely independent and self-sustaining. And you'd probably need to regulate the price in a way that keeps volatility moderate and sustainable.
1485  Economy / Economics / Re: EU wants to ban crypto anonymous transactions and wallets on: July 22, 2021, 10:20:11 AM
I guess what that means is that they want people's real name to be attached to all of their transactions. It does not work that way in decentralized public and trustless cryptocurrency. Refusing users from using the anonymity feature will leave them vulnerable to attacks/risks. It's not a good thing to expose innocent people to danger.

I guess this can solved in a way that benefits both parties (users & governments). People could simply have their real identities verified, thoroughly encrypted and stored in decentralized manner. Verified users can have tiny Blue checkmark close to their crypto addresses while they remain anonymous. Whenever a verified user commits serious crime, his/her identity can be unmasked... Problem solved without violating People's right to privacy and anonymity.
By the way,  where I'm from, we don't usually tell people our names when we want to buy things from them
1486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin has matter property? on: July 22, 2021, 09:57:22 AM
...
In our existing business system and the Internet, the currency we use is also in the form of information, which is recorded in the bank's ledger system. For the currency information of different bank books, most of them are centrally controlled by the government. The government can continuously issue currency through the central bank. Currency issuance is purely digital issuance without any new value creation. The value created by people is diluted by currency oversupply. This is the basic contradiction of current human society.

...

It actually seems contradictory or it violates the "law of nature". It's one of the main reasons we have inflations. People work hard to produce things while someone is secretly/publicly printing lots of money out of thin air to buy up the products and with no intention of replacing them, and then things start increasing in price even beyond the reach of those who produce those things. Hard money like bitcoin solves this problem by limiting coin supply and preventing double spending
1487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My apple is my apple--The beneficiaries of Bitcoin are individuals on: July 22, 2021, 09:24:12 AM
In my cognition, we have experienced the gold standard, the currency standard (based on the US dollar), but we are in an era in the digital world. The core of the Bitcoin world is everyone.

From the beginning, it may......

Ofcourse.
Though everyone still needs to be involved in its running so it doesn't get hijacked by people who don't believe "your apple is your apple"...
And could even succeed in convincing you that your apple isn't your apple.
1488  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Catch a thief on: July 21, 2021, 04:37:59 PM
In ideal Bitcoin setup, if you could prove that the coins was really stolen from you, the coin would be tagged after thorough investigation and the thief unmasked by those qualified to do so within the decentralized setup, then your coin is recovered & given back to you.
Bitcoin is still a work in progress, hopefully we will get there.     But I wouldn't mind seeing this tried out on a new crypto without compromising security and other important crypto ideals/principles
1489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will become the most decentralized cryptocurrency? on: July 21, 2021, 04:13:52 PM
I think you could list down different ways to stop Bitcoin and you will see how incredibly difficult it is to stop it, but you can apply thesame list to altcoins that people claim are decentralized, you could immediately discover how incredibly vulnerable that are. Just simply capture the leaders who are well known rather than being anonymous, the followers will scatter and the project abandoned/forgotten.

1490  Economy / Economics / Re: Why devaluation of currency a big step toward economic growth. on: July 21, 2021, 03:52:12 PM
Interesting. If a currency can be adjusted the way you describe, by a government, what stops other countries from increasing the value of their currencies?

Most countries increase the value of domestic currency either by buying it back/destroying some or by lending it out to investors.

Ofcourse.
You can easily achieve similar result by making  local fiat currency somewhat scarce while getting people produces lots of local products in surplus. Some of the surplus can be sold to foreign markets a bit higher than the local prices and you won't need to artificially adjust the price of your currency.
I know quite a number of locally made products here that could be sold way cheaper (than what the Chinese market sell) because of  factors people normally miss when discussing why certain goods are cheap in one country but expensive in another.
I remember one of my relatives who lives in the US saying he preferred buying locally made shoes(I think canvas) whenever he is back home because they are way cheaper, but the local makers hardly export them to the foreign markets esp US probably because they can't.
1491  Other / Off-topic / Learn to love everyone equally as "soldier" in battle on: July 21, 2021, 03:03:13 PM
When asked who you love the most (or when telling people who you love most) becareful mentioning a particular person especially one who is not under Heavenly protection.
There is a current war going on earth and "heaven" between us and very sadistic entity who could try to get you by any means possible, including hurting people you love the most. You don't reveal certain info on the internet or public spaces. Keep it to yourself.

* By the way, I won't be surprised if many have forgotten that we are in a "war". If you imagine Earth as a Ship, moving close to a gaint hole/hell and an evil entity from the hole is trying hard to gain full control over the ship because it noticed his time is short, then you will understand better.  It may surprise you to know that many of Earth's leaders are under the control of the evil entity. Fortunately, the CREATOR awoken few humans to watch and help stirr the ship until everyone is given a chance to know the truth and repent in a Grace period. Once the grace period elapses, my mouth can't speak what will happen to the world esp those who refuse to change for good.

Becareful what you say as a "soldier" who is part of the war.   *I tend to believe that some still know & understand that we are in a war.
1492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is more real than money in the Bank on: July 21, 2021, 10:56:08 AM
It's actually hard money and more real than opaque, centralized and "privately" run fiat currencies. Anything can happen with fiat and the public won't know due to weak transparency

In regards to the gold part , I believe not everyone listened when people were asked to deliver their private assets (they worked hard for) to the bank.  So you disregard such demands unless you stole the money or you don't own it(owned by Ceasar with images of Ceasar?) ... That treatment is even bad for slaves.
Luckily, Bitcoin is not owned by anyone, and no one can take it away from you unless the taker is a robber.
1493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can prediction results affect the actual market? on: July 21, 2021, 10:30:40 AM
Assuming you are talking about people getting influenced by the predictions, I have wonder if hiding people's bets/predictions from others could help reduce market manipulation.
There are different factors that can determine the direction of prices, unfortunately showing what everyone is betting on is one of them. I wish people's bet are private, so that we can focus more on fundamentals.
In this case, no one else but the bettors/predictors knows the individual bets. Your adversary can bet against you for the wrong reasons if he/she knows your bet
1494  Other / Off-topic / Re: Higher education, is it so important? on: July 21, 2021, 09:53:10 AM
The word "SO" is over mentioned , Higher education is Important but we must remember that there is Life even you are not a title Holder.

and lets admit that most of the Popular person in the world are school drop out or did not finished their Higher education.

But they are persevered and dedicated so they achieved what they wanted to be,.

It is true that higher education does not guarantee us to be successful people. Even in my country, there are many people with higher education
who are still unemployed and have difficulty finding work. There are other factors that are very important in life so that we become successful people,
so higher education is not enough for us to become successful people. It takes big dreams and real action from ourselves to realize our dreams to
become successful people, higher education is only one of the supporting factors. So like you said, most of the popular people in the world do not
finish their higher education, but they can become rich and successful people. Because they are persistent to achieve their dreams.

What's important is the development of our talents and using that for the good of other people and our society/world.
You need to have the right education that teaches you the right things especially what are necessary to make you a better person for the good of others.
I hope we focus more on having school that develop diverse human talents. You can easily use the talented people to build a brand new society and anything good that can be built. They just need to be trained in the right way, by the right people and helped to become useful to their societies
1495  Economy / Economics / Re: Why devaluation of currency a big step toward economic growth. on: July 21, 2021, 09:19:07 AM
Interesting. If a currency can be adjusted the way you describe, by a government, what stops other countries from increasing the value of their currencies?

Well, I guess every country have basic local things they can easily depend on without problems, even if they are completely cut off from the rest of the world.
I think some people are more careful going deeper into the Matrix/system than others... What's is more important is that we live more with nature than inventing/creating evil things.
I hope we have couragous people in the continent refuse to abandon their good cultures while building and developing the societies with good/safe technology.
1496  Other / Archival / Re: Moscow Project: Tell About Bitcoin on: July 20, 2021, 04:44:01 PM
I guess one of the best ways to convince more people is to let them know that no single individual/country have power over Bitcoin. It works abit like a Living Being with trillions or thousands of cells/people contributing to keep it alive and functioning.
And you have to use it correctly to fully benefit from its unique features and security.
1497  Economy / Economics / Re: A Game of Governments - China and Authoritarism on: July 20, 2021, 04:13:10 PM
The problem with being authoritarian is if you are blind ruler, you will be leading millions/billions into hell without anyone couragous enough to stop you.
You need your subject watching and correcting you when you are erring.

You can't ban basic human rights and still think you aren't leading people blindly and in the wrong direction(to hell)
1498  Other / Off-topic / Re: Be careful of android apps even the ones which has thousands of downloads on: July 20, 2021, 03:57:23 PM
Sometimes I wonder how such apps are able to sneak through App stores security check. There should be ways to automatically or even manually make sure they aren't doing things they aren't supposed to do. Besides, app developers reputation coould be taken seriously and scored the right way... the ones with bad/no reputation would need to have enough good reputation before they are allowed to be accessed by people who prefer safe apps
1499  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU ANY OF YOU WORKOUT?🏋💪 on: July 20, 2021, 03:34:28 PM
... And "not getting tired or *bored*".
I guess I will choose a kind of exercise that is fun and won't easily cause me fatigue no matter how long i do it. Some of my favorite ones would be riding bicycle in quiet/fun place, swimming, etc. You could try doing it with more purposes(like to regularly buy something nice at the other end) and not only to benefit yourself
1500  Other / Off-topic / Re: Health on: July 20, 2021, 10:58:25 AM
I don't know much about the information provided, but I understand it's really important to not just eat food but to eat food (and drink water) the right way. I observe my body heal and repair itself quickly when I eat certain food combinations and at the right time/period

There are certain foods you could eat that can help prevent your body from accumulating certain bad things like bad fat in foods. You need to eat them first before eating foods that contain the bad things. I decided not to shared the foods name because people could use that as an opportunity to consume foods with lots of bad fats/things.
