Luke do we have an update on the stats portion?
I have nothing to do with stats, sorry.
I believe wizkid said it was working a few hours ago?

The "fastest" Butterfly is the Hawkmoth that travels at 30mph

That is my suggestion.

All sold?
1524  Economy / Auctions / Re: [BFL ASIC] [5 GH/s] [In hand] on: September 03, 2013, 07:18:40 PM
Yes, if you want... (Is it worth it?)
Anyway you have 36 hours after auction end [before 2013-09-4+06:00:00UTC] for payment. Otherwise this item will be sold on eBay or to the next bidder.
Local pickup available.
There is no reason to think that you can't trust me. You can check my rating on eBay and on bitcointalk, BTCJam.

You can use escrow, but you must pay escrow fee and escrow money must be released after getting tracking number.
I think it will only make difficulties for you.

escrow??

After getting tracking number??

And if you shipped me a brick?

Ohh where do I sign up?

Offering BTC4.8

This isn't about price comparisons, it's about ROI

At best your unit will return 35 BTC

You are charging 57 BTC (at today's rate)

but you are being a nice guy, letting people finance it a little for 10% interest a week. Look at my avatar picture, did you learn your interest compounding from someone like that?

Terms are as follows:
1) 25% of total once per week on agreed set date.
2) 1 BTC interest per week
3) If you fail to make payments or no longer can make payments, you will forfeit whatever you have paid and the machine. I am very understanding about 1-2 day delay if given prior notice, however don't make it a habit.

4) or you send Rocco over to see me???

I wish you well but no one with a calculator is going to bite I am afraid.
I understand you have $2500-3000 in chips in each one of these but I can't justify $7500 there is just no ROI unless BTC goes to $225 then I just break even.

WRONG WRONG WRONG.

WTF do you get your numbers? This machine will mine close to 0.9 BTC per day to start or 27 BTC in 30 days. Yes difficulty increases, but to say it has 35 BTC life is fucking ridiculous. Go sit in the corner; you're a retard. Even my BFL Single thats been mining for about a month now has mined 25ish coins and its half the power.

First of all, the chip cost is almost 28 BTC ALONE. That ain't 2500-3000. Its closer to $4k for ONLY chips. Now add assembly of tons of those 16 chip units. That's probably another $2k right there...so now we're closer to 6k.

Second of all, the interest is to create an incentive to pay off sooner. Which has worked already three times. Do you think I want to be paid over a long term? Hell no.

Third, wtf is up with all the trolls. I am going to create a new thread and will just moderate it.  I don't need your commentary. Your goal is to only bring the price down.

It will make close to the chip cost in ONE month alone.

Obviously, you did not use a calculator. Shucks, maybe you'll only make 200-300% return in a year and thats just too damn low huh?

So if I am wrong I'd love to hear your best estimate as to how many BTC you estimate this will make and in what time frame?

Instead of charging people 10% interest a week, come up with some performance guarantee??

That's how you sell $7500 miners!!

here is what I am using:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Auya3iRE6az1dDc0UVgwMU52YVpTazVjSHByOGNiWHc#gid=8

Download the spreadsheet, plug in 110gh
Delivery date 9/15/2013
Base value 1.01

I get 28 BTC by Jan 2015

Punch holes in it and show me the error of my ways.

P.S. Show your work.

I have a question,

Does this configuration run with a non-hacked version of OSX? basically an out of the box version?

besides the VGA port everything else works? Sound, Network, etc?

1531  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [21.5Th] Eligius: ASIC, no registration, no fee CPPSRB BTC + 105% PPS NMC, 877 # on: September 03, 2013, 02:05:38 PM
... I am even experiencing lower payments than usual (this pool suppose to have 0% fees)...
and I know exactly what are shelved shares, and no I didn't have any.
Then the problem is with your definition of "usual".
If you don't have any shelved shares, then you've been paid 100% in full.

my definition for usual is based on my rewards in PPS payment system in 24 hours, I wanted to give your pool a try especially that NMC is merged and there no fee. but since I stated mining the pool is experiencing some problems ( is this my luck Sad ) I will wait till tomorrow then see about it

I would say it's just bad timing.

This pool has had some growing pains on the stats side,
but has been as solid as can be on the function of the actual pool.

(translation: It never stops accepting shares and paying out, just sometimes the stats page is down and that has been a few times in the last few days, but has been stable for a month before that)

sitedown problem has been rectified but after 24 hours

Eligius dashboard doesnt recognise my user???
even tho my setup is hashing away..

thinking of changing pools

A little patience while they fix the problem.

Remember the stats page has nothing to do with the functioning of the pool.

Will, I think you just lost.  I would never have taken that bet at that definition.  I have a feeling once the Jalapenos hit the price change, none will be shipped until all product lines hit the price change.

What is this price change you're mentioning? Or is that an assumption on your part based on new developments from new entrants to a now crowded field?
http://mineforeman.com/2013/04/05/butterfly-labs-increases-prices-and-decreases-hash-rates-on-the-asic-bitcoin-mining-devices/

And from Jody's blog: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=285659.msg3065909#msg3065909

Don't you feel bad for the guy that said:
My question: Please tell me I will receive the 60GH model for the price that was paid as I see you have changed your pricing model and I am almost down to my last couple of dollars but risked it all with your company.

in the article you quoted?
No.

DAMN THAT'S.........

This is from one of jodys blogs. They plan on clearing part 1 of the miners by the end of september. Jalapenos are almost cleared =) once they are cleared am pretty sure they will start focusing on the singles.
OMG... would part one be..... PREORDERS?!?!?!?

They won't make the end of September even with what you call Pre-Orders.

They have 252 days of Singles they have to get done (July 27 2012 to April 1st 2013)
Not counting the other product lines to get done in 28 days.

9 days of orders per day have to be cleared assuming they are working 7 days a week. (they are not) so more like 12 days

Where is Terrahash? They are not responding to emails, tickets, voice call (mail box still not setup).
They are obviously monitoring the forum though.

Let it be known that Terrahash has my chips today. So the two weeks clock starts now.
I need to know what size and spec of fan to buy but I can't find the info as terrahash is not responding to anything.

Looks like someone called TH's bluff.
Now we will see...

Timer removed. End time: 2013-09-13+24:00:00EDT

What will your excuse be for them when Terrahash drops the ball on this one too?

Where did you see an excuse? They have two weeks per their terms of service to deliver.

You really need to get a hobby, you are not even invested in this yet you have the biggest raging boner to see Terrahash fail. Might want to pick up a hobby that is a little more healthy for your well being.

As I am not Josh, I have no idea what he meant in terms of back-order log and current orders.  Since I did not order until Jun 5th, I did not expect my order to fall into that hope.

Since you are kind enough to have quoted it:  He starts with "I would like to be".  I don't see "We will"... do you?

He also mentions "No guarantees there".  But hey, he's given a timeline, it MUST be set in stone.

How about this, quoted from after you placed your order.

All current back orders will hopefully be shipped by the end of August/beginning of September.

It's one thing to have a timeline set in stone. It's another to miss every single estimated delivery date. Sooner or later you'll come to the realization that every comment by Josh is purposefully meant to mislead his customers.

While I hear you, I have to disagree, I really don't think he is trying to mislead, he is just incompetent.
He has not a clue as to what is going on, he has no supply chain management, vendor management or contract management skills, because if he did we would have inventory in hand.
