Actually his "brother" also has health problems and that's why "Xevox" is selling his stuff. As bonus he also has the same bitcoin address: Sounds legit.

Attachments are disabled. Upload your photo to a image service like www.imgur.com if you see an "embed" option, use the "BBCode" option and copy that code here. If you don't see that embed option: right mouse click on the image and do something like "copy image location". Then add this with the following code: [img]your-image-location[/img] Also this topic should be in "Meta" cuz it's a question about the forum.

And last time the Whitey being YT I assume that was cuz of: whitey 0.4 : Python Package Index which is a "Command-line YouTube client" With command: yt Not insanely impossible, but definitely not easy either :p the problem is indeed that there can be 5 answers for most. Script to at least check that (like semi-bruteforce) is helpful. Salisbury is A1
Can't have 1 Vides is indeed tricky, I also got the answers you got, but not sure if it's correct.

Authorities won't care. And even if they do, they won't do much. I understand you can try if you lost 65 btc.
But yeh, those who read this topic before could have seen the warnings from me and others, yet you got greedy and now you will lose it all. Well done, nothing but yourself to blame.
Those who never read this topic before, sorry for your lost. Next time google before you put your money somewhere.

No. That second post is just the first reply to that topic. There were other posts/topics before that. That post of February 01, 2010, 05:37:29 PM has ID #188. So there were like 188 posts in that 2 months. (these days there are 600.000 posts per month )

Didn't read this topic I guess.
And for those who are wondering "why btc-arbs just wouldn't close the site instead of freezing the funds".. there is your answer.

Well it's more fair than saying that site is great and linking it with your affiliate link :p If someone is STILL stupid enough to use that site after you call it a scam, better try to earn some money on it too I can't blame them.

So you want a loan? Or is this some kind of ponzi game? (tbh, currently my guess is: scam)

For students around Amsterdam, there is a "student ticket" for 75+5 euro.
Im still studying Bitcoin, think that would work to get me a cheap ticket It requires you to: " use an email from an established academic institution (university or higher education college) and provide a valid student ID card at registration.". So it depends on what university you are studying Bitcoin

- Open notepad and copy&paste an address there.
- Still same problem? Not the problem of bitcointalk, virus on your computer.
- Problem gone? Try same on another site in same browser.
- Still same problem? Not the problem of bitcointalk, probably some browser extension.
- Problem gone? wtf.
Basically I am trying to say, isolate the problem and find the cause that way. That browser extension sounds most likely atm.

Well like I said: I guess the cause is any of these reasons: - weak password - same password on another site - virus/keylogger - unencrypted backup in email Honestly it might be a low price to learn more about secure passwords and how to protect your computer. A start is this article: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Wallet_Security_Dos_and_Don%27ts_%28Windows%29 and indeed use two factor auth in the future for any site where you store bitcoins/money + your email (and limit the amount that you store on sites.) (I understand 0.015 can be a lot for some and sorry for your loss, but it could be worse if you have more in the future.) So... - Do you have a weak password? (most especially: short? 1 word with no special characters?) - Do you use any password multiple times on different sites? And specifically your blockchain wallet password? - Do you have proper protection against viruses? - Did you ever make a backup of your wallet?

I guess the download-File is a Virus. I am not in a safe environment here to test it, but I would recommend for everybody, do don't download it.
Everyone can use the virus software scan the zip file first, then decide to do it. Follow my weibo here for update: http://weibo.com/3914834207/profile?topnav=1&wvr=5Why are you doing this? Did you forget your password? Do you remember parts of it? Or is it just a challenge? Or is this to proof you cannot (successfully) brute-force an encrypted wallet and therefor it's safe even if someone obtains it?

That address 1EJcTLZNfy9HALtgovGuUJbLi1ERmoo6uZ seems to steal more: Public Note: yesterday you hacked my account and took $9000. i'm in seriously danger of physical harm right now. i only need $7000 to pay off the debt. can you please send back $7000 and keep the other $2000. please help. i need the money more than you do right now. And you can indeed see a 18 BTC transaction before that. So I do assume his story is true. My guess again is someone who hacked another website, stole the database and matched the hacked emails/passwords to the blockchain.info wallet.

What wallet are you using?
Also if it's already sent to another address it is definitely gone. No way to reverse it.
But you should find out how it happened so you can prevent it for the future and probably secure your computer more.
