1621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do sig camp really helps in bringing leads? on: January 21, 2017, 05:28:58 PM
I've join different sig camp in the past.

1) Does sig camp really helps to promote a camp?

2) How much approximately is the CTR for the banner campaign? 1/2000? or lesser?

If i am going to advertise some product, would it be best to go for sig camp, facebook advertising, or banner advertise like adsense?

Thanks

The same thing you are saying is actually in the mind of people but from the way I see it SIG campaign needs to be planned for long-term purpose because whatever service you are willing to offer, there are competitions and loyalty at that point might not be something easy so its what people see here and there is what will prompt attention. I have clicked some sites that I only saw at Sig campaigns and not even their thread or facebook but it has to be for long-term. Other campaign are also effective if its directed to the right population, you will be surprised that 70% of the patronisers willl even be from the signature campaign itself...
1622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bittrex just kicked off another bunch of dead coins on: January 21, 2017, 05:12:10 PM
There is no morality in whatever you are trying to pass across because to the best pf my knowledge, those "dead coins" someone created it and its from your own opinion that they are dead and thanks that your voice is not the voice of every one to take a position for us. And for the advise, we appreciate and its a welcome advise. Also the last time I checked Bitrrex has never forced anyone to buy any coins, they support and advise, if you are convinced you part away with your money if you are not, you keep your money. Its as simple as that...
1623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it worth it investing in cloudmining at the moment? on: January 21, 2017, 05:05:55 PM
Like what others have rightly said, if you love your money in the sense that you appreciate the effort you put into it in getting it, stay away from cloud mining the statistics have never been wrong about cloud mining that 95% as someone as said earlier is scam you see the remaining 5% which you cant even know which one falls into that category 3% will eventually turn into scam while the remaining 2% it will take forever for you to ROI... You can then make your choice...
1624  Other / Archival / Re: New forum for bitcoiners, Join here on: January 21, 2017, 04:42:35 PM
The thing about forums is not actually about creating it or even doing publicity about the whole thing. Its definitely more than that because if that is how it works quite a number of forums and even more would have been around. The issue Op should really worked on is not about getting people to get to know about the forum because quite a number of people will want to just give it a try, but the fact is WHAT WILL KEEP THEM COMING? If that is not discovered, then there is nothing anyone can do.
1625  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BITSANE.COM Cryptocurrency Exchange Platform Is Now Live on: January 21, 2017, 04:32:58 PM
Having checked out the site and saw some popular coins there but in my own opinion, the price I had seen for ETH in the past is still close to what I am still seeing which means the margin is not really much which a trader might not cash into because the spread will not generate enough profit compared to other ALts which could fluctuate and I could make some money. In that regards, I will join those who are asking for more coin be listed that admin should look into it as well...

1628  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Doubling bitcoins??? on: January 18, 2017, 05:30:39 PM
I could give a list of 100 legitimate transactions right now. It is too easy to produce such information just to deceive people who are not experienced in bitcoins.
Imagine where do they get the doubled bitcoins that they give you?
  • Mining? - No. No one can produce double in a matter of days.
  • Gambling? - No. They won't gamble such money.
  • Trading? No. It can double your money but you have to spend a lot of time.
There's one thing left: SCAMMING

Thank you for your analysis and I must say you definitely hit the nail on the head. I have and still see all these sites online promising all sorts of rewards with even evidences of amount paid, I just laugh and wonder if they expect someone to believe them but I am sure someone somewhere will equally believe them afterall, I have fallen prey before and I have learnt my lessons that any site that promises un-achievable return within a limited period of time, is scam...
1629  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How greatly is MMM affecting bitcoin, negatively or positively, what's your view on: January 18, 2017, 05:12:00 PM
When MMM was introduced in many countries I cannot argue that the numbers of bitcoin users has greatly increased. But the fall of MMM also lead those people to have a negative thoughts on bitcoin, they left after MMM can no longer pay the members. If there is one thing that MMM brought to bitcoin it is the awareness of cryptocurrency to the community.

I quite agree with you about the awareness MMM has brought which to me is a kind of mixed blessing in the sense that majority came into bitcoin simply because they needed to use it as a "currency" not because they are interested not because they believe in it but because of MMM and when MMM stops paying, then they leave because they were never interested in the first place and we are back at the point we were before MMM...
1630  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: January 18, 2017, 05:06:11 PM
I have heard that bitcoin is not supported in some countries. But why ? Is it because bitcoin is risky ? Some countries even declare 6 months jail if her people use bitcoin. Is it fair ? I mined few cryptos and have left mining. It was fun and challenging too. But I never got any clear answer. What does my gpu actually do ? I pay electric bill, my room temperature goes high and I get paid. With actually no skill on pc hardware and software. Whole thing is still pretty unclear to me

To the best of my knowledge and as at the last time I checked countries have legitimacy to decide what is best for them in terms of their finance so far they are not practicing genocide. They have their reason for taking such drastic measures and such reasons are not far fetched as we all know. The primary and major reason is control, in the sense that if they cannot control money, then they cannot control your income and by so doing they cant tax you which means loss of revenue to government. Other excuses they might offer are just secondary to me...
1631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Daily use of bitcoin? on: January 18, 2017, 04:59:14 PM
Hi friends,

As far as I know, bitcoin payments take a little time to approve. Will these approval times make it difficult to use bitcoin in our daily lives?
For example, I would get a coffee from Starbucks. Do I have to wait for approval to pay for what I have done for hours?

I will say this issue is really a challenge because not every one will buy things of $100 at once and really if we want bitcoin to penetrate rapidly, then I have to be able to buy my doughnuts, or ice cream or even coffee as OP has stated but at the same, I am optimistic that its actually a matter of time for this to be settled because when transaction fee is too low it might take forever to confirm and at the same time what will happen if I am now buying something of say 25cents? The transaction cost might even be more than what I am actually paying for...

You can because I am well reputated member in this IT world . I am a MyBB staff . If I ever scammed you ,  you can go and report me on . I hope I shouldn't tell you much about MyBB . I am katos

Guy as someone has stated, trust here is not cheap and for me personally I need more than what you are offering as reason to trust you for me to trust you. You might be a guru in the IT community but that does not earn you a positive feedback from any reputable member on the forum and moreso the service you are offering, I say is 100% on trust and there is no way I can hold you responsible couple with the fact that bitcoin transactions are irreversible. I guess when the trust issue is settled then I can take a second look at this...
1633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Research on Bitcoin on: January 18, 2017, 04:44:35 PM
Hi everyone,

this is a thread where we can collect topics to research on and (maybe) discuss their relevance.

I for example am studying Computer Science and am going to write my bachelor thesis in the near future. I am considering making it Bitcoin-related, but am lacking ideas. Maybe there are others.

For example, there was a paper published about anonymity in Bitcoin several days ago: http://anonymity-in-bitcoin.blogspot.com/2011/07/bitcoin-is-not-anonymous.html

Any ideas are welcome.

Good for you to have decided to go that route of knowledge I am sure by the time you are and if you are serious with it, you would have been deeply rooted in the field and even more versatile than the so called "developers" however, the problem will be your supervisor because over here, your project topic is largely dependent on the area of interest of the supervisor and without getting his nod, I doubt if one is going anywhere. Either way you can give it a try and make your supervisor fall in line...
1634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Squall Coin NO IPO, Made for you! STILL ALIVE on: January 18, 2017, 07:26:28 AM
Ok I have some advice. I went over the op first thing I noticed is when I clicked on the link
Quote
Read this to find out about squall coin's back story
it took me to another forum and the page did not exist. Whatever was supposed to be there should be here in this op for people to read. I also just tried to take the signature and it did not work for me, it cut off 90% of the signature. Can you look into getting a signature I can wear. I think with small changes like that more people will be able to know what this is about and be able to support it.

Thanks for the advice as Squall has said I am a go between but, I will definitely communicate to Squall to look into the issue you raised and I am sure solution will be provided and also thanks for the offer to help we appreciate.

The signature that was cut off could be likely due to the fact that it might be meant for another rank member of the forum but at the same time we will look into it. Thank you for your concern once again...
1635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency [ICO Live] on: January 17, 2017, 05:51:09 PM
Its so unfortunate that this is happening now after alot has been said since the beginning of the project concerning transparency but it was not taken to even if there is a downturn at the beginning there should be a turn up if users believes in the credibility of the project but what I am seeing is that, that factor alone has been defeated a long time ago.
1636  Economy / Economics / Re: What percentage of people on Earth will own Bitcoin by 2020 on: January 17, 2017, 09:54:59 AM
Using my my country as a case study, I went for the 10-20% category simply because following the trend of what is happening currently the acceptance of bitcoin is growing, but not at a rate to surpass that range and since 2020 is 3 years from now, I dont see any maximum movement in that regards. The category of people involved in bitcoin currently is largely the youth who have the time and also see bitcoin as  a way to make extra bucks but only few percentage of the youths are bold enough to take the risk and to believe its not an illegal move that others might think...

i want to create my own coin but i do not that who the best coin developer please suggest me who the best Coin Maker .

There are enough Alt coin currently in the crypto-world already and I am not sure we still need more and with that your budget whic is not even enough to get you to do Twitter campaign, you are intending to get best coin maker. I am wondering what kind of coin you want to really make but if your are convinced I am sure some teams will need your support in terms of fund for their own Alt coin as well...
1638  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: January 16, 2017, 03:51:32 PM
From where I stand, I am sure that the future of paper money is still as strong as we have now and if it will be threatened it will only lose some portion to e-money but still Fiat and not in any way threatened by digital currency at least not bitcoin but if my country will now have its known digital currency then I see a shift because all forms of support will be given to force it down all citizens throat and in the long-run I see it taking over from paper currency but I didnt see that happening anytime soon...
1639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How To make own crypto currency on: January 16, 2017, 02:18:11 PM
There is a decent amount of alternative coins that could be used for daily activities honestly and I don't think the market would need more , If you want to create something that people would actually use then you clearly need funding , probably running an ICO , having a team of programmers and advisors too. I mean you could follow some tutorial but It would simply be a copy of something that has in other coins but people will simply not use.

I share the same view with you as we already have enough Alts already with more still coming out everyday though some have come and gone, some have fulfilled their promises and some are still struggling to carve a niche for themselves. But if Op is so engrossed about having your own coin, I suggests you find some other developers like yourself who might be willing to form a team and you never can tell, you might be the missing piece they are looking for...
1640  Economy / Speculation / Re: I will not Die Untill Bitcoin will reach at Least 50K on: January 16, 2017, 12:45:56 PM
Reaching $50k is really along way when the price of bitcoin has not been stable by only maintaining the upward trend because if that has been so, then we would have reached say $10000 mark but btc is a volatile currency where any announcement by a world power, actions or inactions with direct or indirect effect on btc will affects its price and this alone is a major stumbling block to achieving the $50k mark. Another thing to look at is if the price even keep up with the upward only movement, I see government coming in to curtail such because one of the strength of a country is its currency and anything that might undermine that, is a threat...
