BURST mentioned in a cointelegraph.com article together with Peter Todd, Gavin Andresen and some other... "unknowns"! Wink

which will make BURST MARKET even more attractive, creating one huge market for AT implemented coins

not bad Wink ty for the article url!!

A great article, and AWESOME to see that people are taking notice of what we're doing here. Smiley Now what is left is for a BIG BURST INVESTOR to come along, and see the potential in our coin, and ROCKET us to the top where we belong. Smiley

There is a database issue right now that could or could not be affecting payouts, if we notice there was an issue in past payouts, we will correct the problem and pay them one way or another. Even if I have to pay extra out of my own pocket.

If the extra is dumped to the fee wallet, we will dump it back to the pool as a bonus once the bug is taken care of.

We apologize for the inconvenience and our team is currently working on the solution.

I think I will throw a bonus at the wallet whether there were payout malfunctions or not, simply for any malfunction at all that could POSSIBLY affect payouts, I hate that, so I'll make sure it is made right. My apologies for any issues.

Thank you!

I believe it is definitely causing something to go wrong, the fee wallet is taking the extra, and I Will for sure be doing a bonus payout as soon as we get this error under control. My apologies. Just so everyone knows. Full disclosure as always.

I just saw that my last payout was 16h ago, right after I found a block.
Maybe this info will help you.
BURST-LLY3-HW85-A73L-6JWWW

I think we've found the issue, just have to figure out WHY it is happening, and fix it. Once we do I will be donating a large chunk to the pool to compensate for this.

There seems to be some graphical glitch on the pie charts at the moment, having the dev take a look when he wakes up. I don't believe it is affecting anything but the visual parts of the pies. I have restarted the back end of the pool to make sure everything runs correctly. I will post again when the issue is taken care of. Thanks!

Has anyone entertained the idea that Chris has moved on to a new scam and that Scrypt.cc is actually him under a new alias? The ROI times seem similar to what LTCGear was claiming and they seem to be sucking in people using similar referral scams?  Huh

I think Scrypt.cc have seen how many people have fallen for the ltcgear prices/returns, then offered it themselves. Highly doubt it's Chris.

if you think it is a scam, why are you offering to buy accounts?

Mining company offering 61 days for ROI !!!! Like what could go wrong... ?

it's the extra 1 day that really makes the diff. The 60 days is stupid, but 61, easy. Wink

Agree but let us please stay on topic. Are there any other interesting and SUSTAINABLE BTC project you currently use?

NastyMining will be hitting our 3rd anniversary in a few weeks.  NastyFans is interesting and has become a very diversified project.  I don't believe it will be going away anytime soon.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=86854.0

I do see a bit decreasing trend when looking at your reports. How do you expect this to develop in the future.
Regarding transparency I give you A+. Very few projects are so open and informative.

I can't control the market price, but our product and service offerings continue to develop and grow.

OgNasty is a great person and I fully support his projects.

Too bad I no longer have any BTC miners on his pool (well, nothing to speak of) but I will continue to be involved with any option he's got available. He's one of the few trustworthy people in crypto. Smiley

The talks for integrating BURST into CS and CS:GO servers is going very well, and I think the idea is a good one.

I would like some reaction from the community on this.

So, what does everyone think?

we would be able to use BURST to bet on games, use them for rewards, etc. The coin would be exposed to a HUGE gamer market of Counter-Strike, which has been a game that has stood the test of time and still is very popular.

I can see no bad side to doing this, and I think it should be done.

What does everyone think about this?

The cost is only 20USD a month and I believe the advertising potential is very large and would be more than worth the small monthly fee (that is mostly used to pay the hosting costs for the servers.)

What do you think, BURST community?

I am ready to give the go ahead now, I am even willing to pay it all out of my own pocket if need be, because I Think it is a great idea. What does everyone else think?

I am going to pull the trigger on this project today.

I will pay the first months service out of my own pocket and give them 250k BURST to use to start with. Then I will setup a CF AT that will be used for next months if we decide we like it. Thanks!

BTC drop, burst drop, lower mining earnings... did I miss something?  Huh
BTC dropped is not the main cause, it is BURST / BTC dropped actually!

Well, this hypecoin is on its way out too =( bummer, was hoping something awesome for it.

If you feel that way, sell them and take off. No need for these types of comments here. We know what this coin is, and what we plan to do with it. If you don't believe in it, you're free to leave.

Not sure but my daily earnings dropped since last 2 days. Around from 1.6k to 900burst/day with 9.8TB.

I'm just wondering if there's some special settings I need consider for burst.ninja?

Maybe it's just a coincidence from burstcoin.io downtime, this, then the drop of coins.

The past two days were poor for me also, I didn't find any blocks Sad
Maybe the network difficulty was higher or maybe just bad luck!

to find some block in solo,
you need at least 60TB or something like this!!!

i thik they are really a lot of 4TB hdd...
exactly 12 !!!

you will never see ROI.

People mining the coin now, are not expecting ROI now. We are all banking on the future of the coin.

It's been 5 months since my last post. 5 months ago the total Network is 4655 TB and today is 13367 TB. Expecting some sort of PUMP soon Cheesy

There are many things in the works that will be doing more than a pump. Wink

The donations to our BTC account cleared up by re-syncing the blockchain:

- I donated 0.03819606 BTC at 08.32 CET today
- Someone else donated 0.0799 at 14.00 CET today, but remains anonymous. If you want you nick on the Hall of Fame-page, please email burst@countermail or PM me Smiley No-matter-what, thank you for the donation! Smiley

i sent a small donation of 2500 burst
someone else also sent 2500, don't know who that was.

my transaction as a message mentioning my nick

Thanks! Good idea with the inclusion of nick Smiley Donors, that is a third way verifying your contribution.

I'm really happy someone donated a smaller sum as those can prove really important if *many* holders/miner understand that they do not need to donate 100K.

Would be great if we could create a culture where smaller donations (few hundred/Ks) become an everyday thing for holders/miner to people/groups contributing to BURST. That can very well bring in more money overall to the devs (or who you want to support) than the huuuge donations (which we ofc also welcome as they today are necessary;) ).

It might also make more community members contributing with "dev work" if they almost know they will get a few K for it.

So far we have had donations every single day and it felt we were about to change the "donation culture". Today is the first day, so far, we have not received any BTC or BURST.

And I'm not looking at the usual suspects who support this coins immensely economically, but we have 17,500 wallets out there...

The reason I nag about this is not greed, we will show every expense at BurstForum (see my sig), but that we the coming week have a couple of costly news to deliver. It simply takes a lot of money to run a coin. Working with PR the last month, I even start to understand those who do IPOs. Either way: we have none to fall back on and need you.

Note: The donation accounts are no longer just for PR but for the whole Dev team, from core and software to PR.

EDIT: after doing some calculation, I can say that we'd need about 680 bucks (with todays BURST and BTC) quite fast. That's use, but on the other side I now how quickly you donated 429 bucks for an important PR (still not used, so we will use them if the above is possible).

Come on people, the PR we're working this money up for is going to be VERY BIG, so if you care dearly as we do about the future of BURST, it is in your best interest to assist us in reaching our goal. I myself will donate more later this week!

I'm having my web developer add an about us page with all of my information there.

Also, in case anyone is interested, we just did another release to keep the prices from going out of the ROI range, another release has just been done at 25 BURST, so you can buy directly from us right now if you jump on it!

As promised http://byte.enterprises/

At the botom of the page, the company and my name, and a contact form, anyone is welcome to submit there or email me at Jason@crowetic.com and I will be glad to provide other information. (with relevance.)

Tried to use the form, getting error.

I haven't tested it yet, let me get my web guy to take a look.

Did Elmit ever fix his pool or is he still scamming?

If I remember correctly, on burstforum he said that he replaced the motherboard.  Huh Huh

So yea, I really don't think he or his so called "team" is capable of handling anything. But I do hope he proves me wrong.

I have contacted the guy about integrating with some games, after saying they needed to support NXT, they came back a day later saying they could support BURST in CS and CSGO servers.

I'm following up with that.

There is a 20 dollar monthly fee (very reasonable I think) that goes to the servers, etc.

Thanks!

I was thinking about this today, and tiga reminded me it already exists.

http://burstcoin.info/market/

The BURST marketplace explorer.

Explain more about it, please. Is this like an ordinary market where trust between buyers/sellers are needed, or is the money escrowed in some way to make it trustless?

Basically all the explorer does is let you know whose wallet addresses have an item for sale on the marketplace. If you see something you like, you can go into your marketplace... (http://pool.burstcoining.com:8125/index.html) by clicking "marketplace" on the left after logging into your wallet. Once you've done that use the explorer to find the account ID you need to add, add it and you can see the sellers items. As simple as that.

It is up to the seller (I believe, don't hold me to this) to make for escrow transactions.

But Since escrow is built into BURST as well (I still say it is the best coin ever.) it makes it very easy to implement escrow.
