1641  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if US government made Bitcoin illegal? on: June 15, 2019, 11:23:31 AM
If that ever happens, I expect many to go underground. Some crypto enthusiasts might even migrate to other countries where bitcoin is legal. Traders will most likely dump their holdings also. I don't about hash power.

Yes that's right, traders or crypto user may either go underground or go to a place where bitcoin is useful. I think the one's who will drop their holdings are those who have fewer coins in their wallet but for those who have many may not dump their holding besides it still money, they might opt to exchange it to the accepted currency instead. Regarding the price it might impact bitcoin badly since US has a lot of crypto investors or users.
1642  Economy / Economics / Re: Another good news for cryptocurrency in the Philippines on: June 15, 2019, 11:05:30 AM
Iloilo properties for sale accepts crypto as payment

These properties are owned by cryptocurrency proponents who believe that a conversation on making cryptocurrencies a viable payment option should start.

The owners are both cryptocurrency proponents, and told CoinGeek that they believe that a conversation towards seeing cryptocurrencies as a viable payment option should start.

The owners also said that another reason why they accepted cryptocurrency payments is because of their plan to have the proceeds from the sale of the properties allocated into a cryptocurrency investment.

Wow, I didn't expect that bitcoin has been accepted in some of the companies in the Philippines, I mostly hear companies in the US and other countries but Philippines, it's just amazing, I hear some people say third world countries will be the last one to adopt bitcoin but with this I can say the Filipinos are getting smart. I just hope the adoption in the Philippines will grow even more.
1643  Local / Pamilihan / Re: A bitcoin store near you on: June 15, 2019, 02:20:53 AM
1644  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Feedback is a gift. 🎁 on: June 14, 2019, 09:24:24 PM
Indeed, this will really help you to be better at trading, a trader should be open to any feedback because not all can see blind spots, it is mostly overlook and it’s better to have someone that can double check it for you and provide helpful feedback. Every feedback should be considered a gift.
1645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: facebook bullshit stable coin, spread this as hard as you can... on: June 14, 2019, 09:00:20 PM
facebook is doing a stablecoin, don't make it too complicated to understand that. lets just wait whats it use for and if they will have their own exchange too.

Exactly, I don’t think the stable coin will be a total bullshit because facebook company would not introduce it if it’s all crap, cryptocurrency’s popularity is increasing and it is normal for big companies to adopt or create their coin considering the success of bitcoin over the years. Let’s just look at the bright side of it, it can help promote bitcoin to other people since facebook is mostly used by people, people who aren’t aware of bitcoin will now be aware and probably invest in coins. Well have to wait and see what will happen.
1646  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I fail in trading on: June 14, 2019, 08:31:50 PM
The trader told you everything correctly. Trading is really difficult and therefore in order to start you need to first get some knowledge. After all, your own money is at stake. Therefore, do not neglect the learning.

That’s true, trading can be very difficult if you don’t study how trading really works and you saying you failed means that strategy that your using isn’t working so try to revisit them and think of the things that you could have done better. Failure is inevitable what’s important is how are you going to handle it, don’t let failure stop you from becoming a good trader let it be a motivation to become better, research and study again about trading if you have too, its not too late to bounce back again.
1647  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did anyone try to beat the household? on: June 14, 2019, 08:12:08 PM
I think some may want to beat the house but whatever they do they can’t because house edges are placed to make sure owners can have profits, you might be lucky for a while but I haven’t heard anyone who has ever beaten the house. Most house edges are very hard to beat so don’t ever try to beat it you might just lose everything.
1648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Promoting Gambling on: June 14, 2019, 03:17:11 PM
Gambling can viewed differently by people because we all have views in life, some may find good in gambling because it can provide easy money if your are lucky, some may also find it like badly because we can’t deny the fact that a lot of people who gamble have issues with money, family and all. Most people will see addict of gambling deteriorating so they will think it is very stressful. Gambling is supposed to be for fun and entertainment however, a lot can’t control themselves which leads to addiction. Gambling should be done on moderation because too much is unhealthy.
1649  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Margin trading victims and how to avoid losses on: June 14, 2019, 02:56:52 PM
Trading alone is very risky because it can either make or break you which means that if you trade accurately then you have higher chance of return but if you only trade by just using your gut feeling or whatever then you might lose everything like the one in the story. In margin trading what made it more difficult is how to handle losses most especially if the leverage that you chose is high like 100x, yes it can give you high profits but you have to make sure everything will go as you planned, before entering in margin trading don’t bet everything try to test it by investing small amount to check if your strategy will still work, the market is unstable and the strategy that you used in the past may not work at present times that’s why you always revisit your trades for you to come up with better strategies if necessary. The market is always changing so don’t be too confident with all you strategies to work all the time.
1650  Economy / Economics / Re: To be or not to be. What to invest in? on: June 14, 2019, 11:30:53 AM
It comes down to the persons risk level.

For those who want steady increase and are not willing to be nervous of constant price fluctuations, I would suggest precious metals.
But for those who are willing to live with more risk, BTC is the way. I would not suggest bonds and real estate because I believe that new economic crisis is around the corner and will heavily impact real estate and bonds/stocks.
for real estate I can't reach it, of course it requires a lot of money. but I am still interested in bitcoin, even though I have a big risk, but the rewards I get are also big. so I have the opportunity to get rich
Right, it is a choice of how they are willing to get every risk that is diverse, because investing anywhere certainly has the risk and all also have a big risk when investors don't have good confidence. So investing anywhere has the opportunity to be successful but with diverse benefits and risks.

Exactly, every investment whatever it is has risk alongside with them and it is just depend on the investor what works for them. Real estate is indeed a good investment and is profitable most especially if the location is great. Crypo on the other note is indeed very risky to those who are not capable of trading but once you got to understand the market movement and trade correctly then it could give you big profits, you have be smart when it comes to cryptocurrency. But it all depends to the person who will invest, as for me I would prefer cryptocurrency
1651  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you making money in this bear market? on: June 14, 2019, 11:03:14 AM
Of course, you can earn on the bear market, it's a great opportunity to buy digital assets at a low price and wait for their growth in the future, a good and working strategy
Achieving profits is a strategy, without proper analysis of the bear market will be detrimental. But for professional traders where every day they trade, of course the bear market still provides profits.
They are experts in seeing the time when prices tend to go down on that day, then they buy for several hours and sell it when the increase has arrived. Indeed the increase is not much, but there is definitely an increase. Remember, crypto trading is the most volatile. Patience becomes the main point and greed can be a factor of loss.

Correct, the bear market is still and opportunity to gain profits for day and long term trader. The bear market is a very good to by coins at a lower price and hold it until the value increases. Patience is indeed a very important trait a trader should possess to optimize profits and at the same time control themselves to become greedy.
1652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING AND CHARITY on: June 14, 2019, 10:42:47 AM
Do you mean if God is now watching over you and is helping you to win so you can donate more money to charity?
Donating money for a good cause is always a good thing but I wouldn't put God into the equation. Gambling and religion don't really go hand in hand. That is just my opinion though.

I don't think he meant that way, maybe he just felt blessed after sharing his winnings but it's not that God is helping him to win, well maybe somehow. I think he just know to play the game properly that's why he is winning or could be that he is just lucky. Anyways, good thing that you're able to spend your winning correctly and extend help to those in need. Keep it up OP.
1653  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen to banks? on: June 14, 2019, 03:35:25 AM
In every business it's the same. When new technology comes up the existing businesses will evolve or die. And obviously new businesses will also rise strong.
Same happened with mp3 and music industry...

I agree, as technology evolve some business may become obsolete and same goes to banks that is why some business for example Visa is starting to adopt to cryptocurrency and they try to incorporate it with their services for them to survive once the technology will be embraced by most people in the world.
1654  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you describe the situations of the crypto market today? on: June 14, 2019, 02:15:21 AM
But all of the sudden, market turns to greenish. There are many news and speculation about bitcoin right now. In result, all of the cryptocurrency turns green. Maybe, we will experience the bullish market till the end December. Many people are still waiting for time for bitcoin to go back at 20k dollars. Just like what happened during 2017.
Hopefully this year $20k would be possible.A lot of people are waiting for it to happen that is why we should create positive news as much as possible and not just pure speculations. The market is now greenish and if we continue to promote crypto, the price would even reach to another peak for sure.

The market is back to $8100 unlike these past few days that it dropped to $7500, I just hope this will continue to rise until $20K. I think it is possible to reach $20K in the coming months as the number of investors increase. It's still half way of the year and i'm positive this will be a remarkable year again for bitcoin, fingers crossed.
1655  Economy / Economics / Re: The harmful affect of a continuous downward movement of the Bitcoin price. on: June 13, 2019, 02:15:44 PM
I agree, but its hard to convince investors, the constant dropping value make the investors hesitate about the possibility the price will go up in the future, and the investors now is afraid of the whales manipulation, there are numerous of investors already giving up investing in crypto, the bear market in this year is quite severe, we need something to trigger the bull run to make investors back to invest

That's true, but now is the right time to invest since the price of bitcoin is low, though the drop maybe because of whales manipulating the market to there advantage but we can help future investors understand that the drop in price is just temporary, bitcoin is a strong coin that is worth the risk and I don't worry much about the drop because I know one of these days it will rise back up again.
1656  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When 💩 hits the fan... on: June 13, 2019, 01:51:53 PM
Whether in trading or in plumbing, when shit hits the fan it does no good to panic. Deal with the situation quickly and efficiently, even though it stinks. 💩

Exactly, panic can only result to bad decisions or actions whereas if your calm then you can focus on the things that needs to address and at the same time you can come up with better solution to bounce back. In trading its not always what we expect will happen so trader's should be prepared to whatever shit that will happen and knows how handle it accordingly.
1657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pacquiao Stands as Underdog vs Thurman — Sportsbooks on: June 13, 2019, 12:34:54 PM
Getting your point OP, in terms of age gap Thurman maybe much quicker than Pacquiao there's no doubt about that this can be the factor why sportsbooks
based their bookies odds, but it can also be a trapped for people to play with thurman as experienced and determinations can still be with Pacquiao, knowing how he loves fighting for the glory of his countrymen, be very careful not being tricked analyze more deeper before betting.

Thurman is indeed young, quick and undefeated but pacquiao is a legend when in comes to boxing so he can still be a strong opponent to Thurman. I think it too early to predict that Pacquiao is an underdog because I know he prepared enough for this match.
1658  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you following your gut instinct in trading? on: June 13, 2019, 05:52:16 AM
We were advice during my forex trading by trading expert that we should not depend only on technical and fundamentals indicators alone in trading but we should focus our mind in the third indicator which is our gut instinct and we were told that it can not fail us but making us rich and build our confident in trading.  However. I think about 80% of traders don't know how to hear the voice of their instinct during trading!  Can one get this gut instinct training like others investments tools?  Is it even truth that we have something like gut instinct?

You can't base your trades in intuition because most of the time gut instinct is not reliable well at least for me, when I started trading I mainly base it on gut instinct because i'm trying to also study the market and the results of my trades in the past are not good. I win sometimes, its like the ratio is 4 wins out of 10 trades so based on experience I don't use guts to trade I would rather use technical and fundamental indicators to guarantee profits.
1659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers needs to control their emotion! on: June 13, 2019, 03:49:51 AM
I admit, I'm also addicted but not to the point that i'm going to end my life. Aside from luck, controlling your emotion is one of the key in gambling. Your ended up doing worst if you can't like raising your bets, not following your strategy, ended up lossing and mad. That's why others suggestion is only play what you can afford to lose.

I don't think he intend to end his life is just that he is too eager to recover his lost money thinking that he will be able to win the jackpot again. I believe that he is very addict already that he can't control himself and don't really care think about the consequences, all he think is to win and he thinks that if he will then he can win again but his body surrendered before he can even win.
1660  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to double capital in 2 months? on: June 13, 2019, 03:19:13 AM
I've been in trouble and now I have a lot of debt
Can I double my capital in two months because if I do not pay I will die or be imprisoned
Please help me I think I am a professional but I am nervous now I can not trade well  Huh

trading under bad feelings or being nervous will not bring you profits I suppose you realize it.
you'd better find another way to resolve your problem.

anyway, if you trade calm and cool you can make big profits by day trading CFDs or crypto.
with leverage. but you must stay calm and develop your trading plan which you must obey 110%.

That's right, try to stay calm and focus for you to be able to think straight and make the right decisions in trading. Also try to revisit your trading history or strategy because it might not be working as of the moment and you might need to create another strategy. You can trade with leverage to gain more profits but make sure you are focused enough to make the right decisions because if not then your problem will only gets worst.
