1661  Economy / Exchanges / Re: XCOINS.IO LEGIT OR SCAM on: January 11, 2017, 08:25:41 PM
Anything that offers you passive interest of 15-30% is an absolute scam. People should stop being so naive regarding these websites. Through their naivety those people are contributing to the scammers wealth and giving scammers incentive to open other such websites to rob even more people.

It has been said many times in this forum but I want to repeat again as I see people who never take notes.

The most sound investment of your coins is to keep them in your wallet, done.

You have said it all. Any site that promise any unreasonable returns with a short period of time is scam and if not scam currently, will eventually turn into one whether now or later. And op, good for you to have asked, I want to believe you have not put your funds there then coming here to ask, because eif that is the case, then its medicine after death. I have fallen victim and I won't forget the experience...
1662  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's freaking 2017 - Do you own 1 BTC? on: January 11, 2017, 08:03:20 PM
I remember several years ago similar poll was made and i was surprised most of the users answered NO.
In case your answer is still NO, I'd like to know what is your main reason not to own one bitcoin?

Happy holidays!

edit: grammar

I voted no because I dont own one but it seems the trend has change. Looking at the results of the vote more people chose yes compared to those who chose no. In my own opinion the yes who have been people who had been earlier exposed to the world of bitcoin or who have enough resources to buy outrightly. Compared to others who chose no maybe because they are just exposed to btc and waiting to gather as much as that...
1663  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Called the CRA (Canadian tax revenue agency...)... on: January 11, 2017, 07:59:16 PM
I tell you, its not only CRA that does not know even over here, police can arrest you if you proudly say you are dealing in bitcoin and they might intepret it to mean that its being used in the "underworld" thereby you are doing something illegal and that is why those who deal in this currency do it via faceless forum to avoid such confrontations. And that is the long way I always see when people start comparing bitcoin with bank or with fiat claiming bitcoin will replace fiat or even kill banks...
1664  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Breaking News! PBOC inspects Chinese Bitcoin Exhcanges on: January 11, 2017, 07:53:57 PM
And here it is coming gradually the regulations but I still see this as a stunt they are pulling over there and this will affect the price of bitcoin in a way whether positive or negative because its this same China that the massive increase in the price of bitcoin started towards the end of last year as their exchanges were at the forefront of pushing the price upwards... And the down trend we are witnessing now cannot be totally ignorant of their activities over there...
1665  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Marketplaces in your country/region that accept Bitcoin? on: January 11, 2017, 07:48:53 PM
Over here, from length and breadth of this country, I have not seem or heard of any store where bitcoin is accepted. This is largely due to the fact that those of us into is kind of coded about it and business that will accept it means they will start valuing their goods in dollar in which dollar itself is not our own official currency... But will time, I see all this encumberances being straightened out...

1667  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal? on: January 10, 2017, 05:26:08 PM
I go for maybe because I dont see it happening without some conditions being met among which include:

1. Government finds a way to tax bitcoin as it currently earns some revenue from paypal otherwise paypal will continue to dominate.

2. Government finds a way to regulate the currency where it can holds people responsible for their actions or able to curb the incidence of scam, illegal uses of the currency among other things...

With this two conditions still pending then paypal all the way will still be dominating...

1669  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to Face Reality in 2017 ... on: January 10, 2017, 06:07:39 AM
Its just like a journey one is embarking upon along the way, you meet several sets of people, some will be with you till the finish line, others will be dropped along the line with reasons best known to them and believing they are taking the right decison. The same thing happening to bitcoin those set of people have the knowledge and they are moving out but at the same time more and more millions are moving in to carry on.. In as much that I wont say they are wrong but I say let's all wait to the end to see who will be right...
1670  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If the mining profits decrease, will Bitcoin end? on: January 09, 2017, 05:01:40 PM
It simply means that the ones we have will now be contested for and the value of Bitcoin will therefore increase significantly but at the same same it will come with its own disadvantages in the sense that when the price becomes un-affordable then I see other Alts lining up to take its place which in the long run might eventually makes bitcoin worthless when nobody is asking for it...
1671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: New Crypto Currency LCF ( Free Coins Giveaway ) on: January 09, 2017, 03:32:00 PM
It seems everyone here is thinking in the same direction and their voice is towards a particular word which is SCAM. For OP there are two things to us here:

1. In as much as freebies are good over here we dont just jump into it like that e.g all my details for a coin? all for what?

2. Other forums might just accept it hook and sink but this is Bitcointalk and things are really different here...

Goodluck to those who will try and claim...
1672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency [ICO Live] on: January 09, 2017, 03:27:22 PM
I have said this times without number and this thread have continue to be one accusation and another counter accusation and this has been on and on since who knows when. Simply because of a simple thing which is Transparency. IT could be true that funds might have been raised else, also it might not be compulsory to use Escrow so far its ok to all and sundry but what others are asking of is where are the funds going? Show us... I believe when this is done, the thread can be about something more productive and not just this unnecessary bickering here and there...
1673  Economy / Services / Re: Hire me as your Agent in Nigeria (Do you Need anything in Nigeria)? on: January 09, 2017, 09:52:18 AM
I am the heir to a recently deceased king of Nigeria. Can you meet with his prince so I do not need to pay the 2BTC fee for collecting my inheritance?

So you think only people in Nigeria can scam right? Scammers are everywhere and I expect people to be judge on the basis of their individual character and not where they came from or where they reside. OP proudly says where he came from rather than hiding under the fact that he is from "God's own country" where scammers are not?. Great service you are offering and I am sure someone will need your service in due time...
1674  Economy / Services / Re: Do you have a bitcoin lender? on: January 08, 2017, 03:37:14 PM
As far as I know there are bitcoin creditor sites. We demand bitcoin as much as we need. And how long after we say how much we will pay in total. We borrow a kind interest loan. Are there any reliable sites you know in this way?

There is even a lending category on the platform in which your needs can be met but I must tell you that based on your currrnet rank level its nearly impossible to get one because their rule over there is strict in other to ensure that only secured loan are being issued so I would suggest if you would go there, read the rules or else you might want to earn yourself a trust that might not leave anytime soon...
1675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Squall Coin NO IPO, Made for you! STILL ALIVE on: January 08, 2017, 03:28:47 PM

1676  Economy / Services / Re: Which is the best service ? on: January 08, 2017, 03:19:53 PM
Hi Friends I want to win the bitcoin. I want to trade with the bitcoins I earn in stock markets. It would be enough for me to win a $ 10 bitcoin. A small amount is enough to try myself ($ 10)
I'm looking at the faucet sites. But it's hard to win a bitcoin around here.
How can I win the easiest bitcoin?

Let me also add that if you really need to make what you wanted, I tell you its not that simple as whether you like it or not its going to cost you time. Whether going through claiming of faucets or going the route of making quality posts its you will need time and not just necessary wishing... In the case of faucets that could be frustrating while for posts you need to prove yourself worthy to be hired and also qualifies which might need to wait a little to rank up to the required level in other to make that amount...
1677  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If no one spends bitcoin what might happen? on: January 07, 2017, 08:44:01 PM
At first, the idea is meaningless because this is an open market where everyone  can do what they want with their bitcoins, so it is impossible to speculate about that scenario where all bitcoin users decide to stop doing bitcoin transactions simultaneously.

But obeying to a simple market logic, a widespread hoarding of a product or good always triggers an  exponential increase in value.

He obviously knows its not possible to have that kind of scenerio because even the users of Bitcoin are not limited to this forum as we have the larger population out there and he is just speculating what could have happened if such environment could have been possible.

To me, I will see it as a rejection of Bitcoin itself because one of the major function of money is exchange of value and not only store of value in which we will be doing if we all decide to keep ours. By so doing I see the price dropping drastically and therefore worthless in no distant time...

1679  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paypal is seeking Advice regarding Cryptocurrency on: January 06, 2017, 06:50:54 PM

I just asked Paypal, do they have any plans for cryptocurrencies and they said,

What do you think, What are your suggestions to help them in adapting cryptocurrency?

Best
Dudeperfect

What will they say before? I dont expect them something else. Its like customer service of telecommunication industry no matter how boiling you are about their service they will always give you same answer like they all been programmed to say. I am sure you are not the only one that have raised that question and in other to be diplomatic, they offered that answer to you. To me, its just cosmetic until they get the go ahead of government regarding  crypto-currency...
1680  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The year of 2017 would be a golden year of bitcoin and what is your thought? on: January 06, 2017, 06:33:18 PM
The year 2017  to everyone we are all prophesying or I say we are all wishing but to me I will say nothing will happen ad 2017 will just be like evey other year if steps are not taken towards the direction we all wanted. A lot of predictions I have read concerning Bitcoin but I will say it will not just happen by mere wishes until those that matter to effect such change makes moves until then we only wishing...
