1681  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Stuck Bitcoin transaction on: March 24, 2023, 12:26:12 AM
Currently, the mempool is pretty congested so I don't think this will confirm today it would take days unless if the network transactions are decreasing or less congested.

Do you mind to check the history tab if you received this transaction? If there is a transaction under the history tab then right-click it and then you can select CPFP which is the only option to increase the fee as suggested above.

1682  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: PSU3300-3 PLUS red light on: March 23, 2023, 11:45:42 PM
If you could access the miner through a browser would you mind sharing the API logs here it can give us more insight into your miner's problem just put them inside the insert code tag so that it is easy to read?

What I see is that the PSU is not connecting properly or maybe it didn't give enough power when the hashboard starting to hash.
1683  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: My antminer T15 is in infinite loop. read! on: March 23, 2023, 10:52:23 PM
I changed the PSU and the loop stopped, and it turns on normally.. but it continued without mining because the "Fan lost" error remained.. I changed the fans and nothing works!

Have you replaced the fan with the same model? If it's a different fan it might be a compatibility issue.

Would you mind to check the control board fan terminals try to clean them with lacquer flo thinner or any board cleaner and then resolder them? Let's see if it solves your issue.
1684  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Suggest Online Shopping Sites That Accept Bitcoin Payments And Ships Everywhere. on: March 22, 2023, 11:57:13 PM
If you verified the Binance account then their Crypto Card might work but it looks like they do not support Nigeria because I can't find it in their supported countries?

How about Paywithmoon they said they support AliExpress.

Quote
Moon currently supports shopping on a limited number of sites, but soon you’ll be able to shop on any of your favorite e-commerce websites, like eBay, Ali Express and Target.

Or your last hope is to buy gift card as suggested above.
1685  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Sparrow wallet update 1.7.3 on: March 22, 2023, 11:36:24 PM
If excluding doesn't work I suggest switching to another AV like Kaspersky is a better choice because windows defender has many false negative detections it would be better to disable it and switch to AV which has updated database.

Which ".tmp" files are those?
The ones in appdata local temp folder which starts with "+JXF..." or the "hwi..." in Sparrow's data directory?

Based on the link posted by Mitchel its hwi with a .tmp extension its under this folder below

Code:
C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\Sparrow\hwi
1686  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Sheepy - new cryptocurrency payment gateway on: March 22, 2023, 02:07:24 PM
It looks like they reduce the firewall rules and restrictions on their cloud flare account which is why it is now accessible. I tried to make an account and verify the email but my account is in testing mode after searching around why it's a testing mode I saw a tab "verify" that requires KYC.

It means that this payment gateway needs to be KYC verified before you can able to use their service which is risky if we share our documents with a months-old payment gateway.
The domain is aged but the website itself is pretty new and it doesn't have any reviews yet and they only support API unlike BTCpayserver.
1687  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Passphrase recovery with Btcrecovery on: March 22, 2023, 01:33:38 PM
I tried it anyway and it had crashed when I woke up, lol.

If you tried it on Windows it crashed while running it in a few hours maybe it crash because you didn't disable the hard disk sleep or anything that could interrupt the software from running. You might need to install dot net core according to their guide.

FinderOuter is great tool/software and more user-friendly. But with lack of GPU support, btcrecover is better choice on most cases.

That's the only downside about this tool but they are planning to add support GPU on version 2.0 according to their roadmap. The only good thing about this tool it's easy to use compared to BTCrecover/Hashcat.
1688  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: What is the Minimum ASICs hardware for mining bitcoin? on: March 22, 2023, 01:04:33 PM
Like the post above profitability depends on your electricity rate if you have an electricity rate below 10 cents you can able to make a profit based on daily profitability.

If you are looking for an ASIC unit that is profitable based on your current electricity rate you can use this tool below

Use the search bar to filter them into bitcoin miners only by using the keyword "SHA-256" and then scroll down to the bottom and edit the electricity cost. It would list all profitable miners to the top and the earnings daily to the right.

And take note if you decided which miner you are planning to buy make sure buy only miners directly from the manufacturers or verified distributors.
1689  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: T17e SSH Help. 413 - Request Entity Too Large on: March 22, 2023, 12:29:17 PM
the SSH is already unlocked. I was able to do that following ASIC.io walkthrough; however during the update for the full software it somehow failed to upload fully and now its stuck. It wont take anything new. I want to install Braiins OS+ because i like the interface it has on my S9's.

i have SSH'd into it and found the memory full. what i need to know is how to clear it when flashing won't work, and i dont know the SSH commands to do so.

Are you trying to flash the unit from the browser?
I suggest try to flash it through the SD card with BraiinsOS if it doesn't work you can run the BraiinsOS through the SD card without flashing the Nand.

Or you can try the firmware posted by thierry4wd from this link below it can disable the signature check and it can maybe solve your case about memory full

If it's successful you can now try to flash it to BraiinsOS if that's the one you wanted to.
1690  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Sheepy - new cryptocurrency payment gateway on: March 21, 2023, 06:09:11 PM
I tried to access the website to check how this payment gateway work but it looks like your Cloudflare banned my IP with the error "Access denied".

If this is also applied in your Payment Gateway I'm sure it would also cause some problems not only to those who are planning to use it but also customers who trying to pay using your payment gateway.
1691  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kucoin Community Chain KCC on: March 21, 2023, 05:38:08 PM

Can anyone help me with how this works with regards ETH and ALTs?  Do they all have to be transferred on their native ERC20 or alternate network such as AVAX to be legit?

If you talking about ETH then it's ERC-20 or Ethereum blockchain about the other alts they also have other networks but what is your main goal?

If you just want to transfer your BTC from Kucoin to Coinbase I suggest you convert BTC to USDT and use the ERC20 network to transfer them to Coinbase and then buy BTC with your USDT.
1692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Passphrase recovery with Btcrecovery on: March 21, 2023, 05:04:57 PM
There is another tool that you can use to brute-force the wallet passphrase it was developed by Coding Enthusiast.

You can check that tool from his thread below

Once you downloaded it just go to Missing Mnemonic Passphrase and try to brute-force your wallet just make sure that you remember some parts of your passphrase to speed up the process.
1693  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Understanding the mechanics of an atm bitcoin purchase on: March 21, 2023, 01:43:24 PM
It's very simple you just deposit the cash into Bitcoin ATM and put your wallet address and confirm.
The only problem is some Bitcoin ATMs have some requirements like you need to be KYC verified or just provide a phone number.

If you don't want to do KYC providing a phone number is fine but the amount of Bitcoin you can able to buy is limited compared to KYC verified.

You can use https://coinatmradar.com/ to find Bitcoin ATMs that only requires mobile phone number and to check other requirements they need before you can able to buy BTC and it can also provide some details about fees.
1694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: If someone steals your seed words, but does not know your passphrase... on: March 21, 2023, 01:21:06 PM
In addition to the posts above it is important to ensure that you save your seed backup in a secure environment that is not accessible to anyone else. A sample is by placing your paper backup in a vault. Everything is possible even if you have a strong passphrase there is still a chance that it can be brute-force since the technology is developing and maybe in the future hackers can develop a tool that is faster than the previous brute-force tool. So the very important thing you need to do is to save the seed phrase in a safe and secure location so that no one can able to steal it and you're the only one who can protect it from theft.
1695  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: ledger nano with electrum - from old to new PC on: March 21, 2023, 10:59:40 AM

do i need anything specific compared to the old electrum wallet? do i reinstall the new version directly? does the old one get overwritten? do i need to save anything?

As mentioned earlier you can uninstall it and install the latest version but you don't need to uninstall them if you want to use the latest version just install it and it would upgrade automatically to the latest version while keeping all of the synced data intact, including your wallet file so that you don't need to recreate your wallet.
1696  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kucoin Community Chain KCC on: March 20, 2023, 11:44:42 AM
Going back to the KCC network, are you saying it isn't possible to transfer Bitcoin?

It's possible only if the wallet or exchanges support it but Coinbase does not support that network so you won't be able to transfer BTC through the KCC network from the KuCoin exchange to Coinbase.

I suggest read Coinbase Supported assets and networks so that you know which network are supported or other assets.
1697  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: How to send a NFT i minted with Electrum on ordinal wallet on: March 20, 2023, 11:26:01 AM
It looks like a scam the ordinals wallet you talking about was just created last month based on whois check below

Code:
Domain:ordinalswallet.com
Registrar:NameCheap, Inc.
Registered On:2023-02-01
Expires On:2024-02-01
Updated On:2023-02-01
Status:clientTransferProhibited
Name Servers:bruce.ns.cloudflare.com
daniella.ns.cloudflare.com

So before you import it from Electrum and then the sparrow wallet to ordinals wallet make sure that your wallet from Electrum doesn't have any balances and don't reuse it in the future because it asks for a seed phrase so possible it's a phishing site.
1698  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon 1166 Pro Hashboard Help on: March 19, 2023, 11:53:45 PM
If you talking about the ceramic capacitor it should work without that capacitor I think there is another reason why it gives you more hardware errors according to your logs.

If you have a multimeter try to check the resistance on that section where the ceramic is gone and maybe there are some shorted parts that cause some parts to fall off.

Can you tell me which hash board is it the first or the middle hashboard?
Just a bit confused about the logs because MH shows the first hashboard has many hardware errors and the PVT_T1 shows abnormal values which is the middle board.
1699  Other / Meta / Re: Advertising a software that drains user tokens/coins. Is it allowed? on: March 19, 2023, 10:30:37 PM
Why would they sell it if it's free open-source?
There are some wallet drainers and open source on GitHub without paying them.
And it looks like the target only metamask wallet?

This is a bit illegal selling illegal tools that can use for scamming shouldn't be allowed.

Have you tried to report it to the mods to delete it?
1700  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How to Start Blockchain Development? on: March 19, 2023, 03:44:02 PM
I have a big source where you can learn about blockchain and you can start to build your blockchain right away by following the DIY guide from this link below.

https://github.com/openblockchains/awesome-blockchains#do-it-yourself-diy---build-your-own-blockchain

It has 5 different languages such as Python, Ruby, JavaScript, Java, Go and Python. Just choose where you want to focus.

Another source is the one below.

https://github.com/yjjnls/awesome-blockchain

It includes other altcoin blockchains and development. Hope that this is enough to learn about building your own blockchain.
