UNO is the coin you hold. You can see how many of the top wallets are holding Uno long term. This is a shot of the rich list and shows how many of the top 20-or-so wallets haven't changed in 200 days or more. I am impressed how many people have bought their Uno and just parked it for the long term. Even so, many of the other top wallets are accumulating Uno. Any activity re-starts the date counter

Trusted Traders:
# Wickedsick, one star # IndiaMikeZulu (Mark), one star # Edgar, one star # Falling Knife, one star # Bitcoin Charlie, one star
And let Mark's Experiment begin:
guys, I am a pensioner, so my budget is tiny. I have about .6 BTC coming in from our IMZ's last 'buy.' Henceforth, as an exercise, I am gonna try to buy no more BTC through the fiat-banking system!! I shall save my pennies; pay for silver bars to be delivered to Unobtanium community members and others (quite legal), and receive UNO for the bars. Go!!
m
I am confused: isn't this one of my posts? (tee hee -- back when everyone had just one star!) Yeah, I saw that and thought I got demoted, LOL. @Bitcoin National, that's a beautiful picture! that is nice. I was just thinking I could use a couple more Uno bars. I love those.

To my knowledge, Cryptsy has never stolen a damned thing from anyone.
I'm not a computer nerd, but I do believe that maintenance must be performed from time to time on files that are constantly being updated and changed due to trading.
I for one am happy Cryptsy exists. Fees are reasonable. Security is good. Inconvenience is minimal. They have never had a scandal.
They long ago solved the "trust" problem, and they don't carry out their business on a Google Docs page. They are eons ahead of CERTAIN PEOPLE.
Being politically correct and likeable is not a pre-requisite to trading there with total strangers.
They do everything a well regulated exchange needs to do.
All of the belly aching here is embarrassing. Some people spend their days making noise and trying to solve problems that don't exist.
Yes, Uno is very lucky to be on Cryptsy. I really like this exchange. Its one of the few exchanges where the location and ownership is known, and subjected to US courts. They are the exchange I use the most, trust the most, and have the highest expectations for. Bittrex is close behind. Because of the nature and history of Crypto, I think caution is always warranted when coins are not in your wallet. It is very inconvenient when I can't move my Uno, and when things like this drag on for days or weeks (which sometimes they do with Cryptsy), it ticks me off. Their communication isn't exceptional, and the support while well meaning sometimes seems confused.

This has occurred at Cryptsy before with $UNO. It took them several days to get it fixed. Withdrawals were sporadic. I remember requesting to withdraw 100 $UNO and then getting 5, with the rest of my withdrawal cancelled.
Hopefully, this maintenance will be much smoother!
Well it's still going on right now -- the little "in maintenance" image is still besides Uno and a slew of other coins. Less than half of the coins they carry, but still a whole bunch. Can't say it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy... Agreed. It's never a good feeling to be separated from one's Uno. The only good thing I can see in this is a) it's cryptsy and b) they've done this before. So it should be ok (says the guy who nearly lost 250 uno on MintPal).

Hi TrevorS, When you open your Uno wallet, go to Console > Information. What is the current block that your wallet is showing? Did you try shutting it down and restarting?

Sunday at the farmhouse. Magnificent Autumn morning. Me busy buying Unobtanium.
m
I got my beautiful Unobtanium bar in the mail yesterday. After I finish drooling over it I will print the keys out for it. I even mined a vanity address for it! 'Unobtanium bar'? One of BigTimeSpaghetti's products? Yes, one and the same. I was very impressed with the overall quality and BigTimeSpaghetti was a great guy to work with. UNO is now the pride of my modest little collection. I plan on getting a few small projects out of the way in coming weeks so I can spend some time learning the Un-Ex ins-and-outs. I have a couple of those. Love 'em! Highly recommend Mr. BigTimeSpaghetti.

Bryce plugs UNO in CoinReport.

I heard from Bryce today and he's working on the next release. It will have merged mining. He got a little side tracked with another project that needed attention, but it is almost ready for prime time.
Any predictions as to how the hash rate & trade value will react to the merged mining release? Will the hash rate see a large jump? The hash rate is expected to jump significantly. The project is designed to secure the Unobtanium blockchain with high hash, making it the best long-term, low-inflation store of value in cryptocurrency.

Wow, Uno is cheap.
And Bitcoin is cheap....
That gives me an idea.
I have to wait a week at the earliest to buy 10 UNO for the month of April ... but buy, I shall. I have not added much Uno the past 2 months, just hodling. So I've made myself a promise. To celebrate the next halving, I am going to buy the entire daily 7.5 Uno production, each day, at whatever the market price is, for at least a month. If prices keep dropping, I'll do more. I know it's not huge, but I think this is a good time and a fun way to accumulate another 250 uno. I sat out that last pump; now with Uno under $3 this seems like a bargain. I don't know what the price will be when the halving occurs. Make me pay dearly. Why don't you join me in the celebration?

I couldn't agree more with you Rojan. Start with honesty and fairness: that is exactly where most crypto currencies have failed miserably. Unobtanium has been vetted for nearly 18 months. How many gimmicky coins are now in the basement of Coinmarketcap? We can build for the long term on a foundation of fairness and low inflation. Uno is like a rock foundation for a house. Too many other cryptocurrencies built on a foundation of sand and have been washed away. Long live the RockChain!

It has been awhile, so I thought I would add a plug for Unbreakable Coin Auctions. They let you list an item on their site and specify UNO as a payment method.
CoinPayments.Net is another site that lets merchants directly accept UNO payments. I've used CoinPayments when buying gold & silver from Coaex.com. It works perfectly.
