1701  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where do daytraders store their crypto? on: March 05, 2022, 07:12:26 PM
Who knows if a trader uses all or only part of his crypto portfolio to trade daily on a centralized exchange? If they wish they can withdraw assets daily to external wallets due to higher profit calculations. Or also they don't move anything from the exchange because they only use a small part of the portfolio that they can tolerate to lose.

This question requires a survey of several daytraders, each with a different portfolio.
Unless you are at the very start of your trading, you never trade with 100% of your bankroll. No good trader does that, you store most of your money in something like ledger so that you could keep it safe.

Let's assume you have 100k, you would not be trading with 100k anyway, that is too risky and there is no need for that, you would trade with at most 3-5k and then you could store the rest in a secure location. Then you would be trading with that amount and when that amount reaches to like 10+ thousand, then you remove some of it and go back to 5k again. That’s how all the rich traders I know have done it so far in the past 5 years. If you have a thousand dollars and want to trade, then of course you may end up with depositing it all.
1702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 04, 2022, 08:38:08 PM
I do not care about today's games. However it is clear to me that tomorrows games will be a lot better. Bayern vs Leverkusen going to be awesome game. I mean Bayern will 90% chance end up winning again, but it is cool to see them against good teams, it makes a boring week when big clubs play against like furth or something, and leverkusen is a great one they are right behind Dortmund and if Dortmund slips up some more they could even become second.

This doesn't change the fact that they are going to still lose, it's Bayern after all and I always expect Bayern to beat anyone, but if you are going to wager against Bayern on any game, there are few like this that will show itself.
1703  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Holding or swing trading on: March 04, 2022, 07:05:35 PM
But between the two i would go for swing trades over holding, had it been 10 years ago when volatility was aggressive i would say hodl.
HODL is safer than anything else. But we all want to stay in a bit of an action and some drama because we are humans. Grin
That drama is what makes alot of inventors turn traders because they want to quickly swing for profit and then get back on the project with more. There is someone somewhere who will never consider swinging at all even when it is obvious that the token will dump. These ones do not like taking risk and they will be the first to accept that holding is safer. I like to hold most times too but it is not that am afraid of risk. It is mostly because I want to keep that token.
I do not know, why would I want to get drama in my life? I mean don't we all have it already? Since 2020, we had pandemic, I had some family emergencies, some health crisis unrelated to covid, now war, and plenty other things in between as well, this past 2 years has been probably worst in my life already. I do not get why we need more drama? That could be the reason why I am in long term holding as well, it just makes sense that way and I could be making a decent return by simply holding and ignoring everything.

I just buy and hold and keep it there, and that's all I do, I do not care about anything else. Doesn't that make more sense to you? I am not saying that it should be profiting a lot, it may not, it may take a while but it is calming and relaxing way to do it.
1704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: March 04, 2022, 06:48:23 AM
Russia is once again kicked off the races list, just like they are kicked out of everything. Am I hearing Istanbul music again? They haven't been around for years, and then suddenly they got involved due to pandemic, and now they are getting another possibility due to a whole new war breaking out.

Turkey track must be owned by someone who is the luckiest person in the world, he keeps getting chances after chances. If he made some good money from the last 2, and if he gets accepted this time around as well, then for the fourth one he should be able to pay up directly as well. All based on super lucky situations for him while it is terrible for the whole world.
1705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: March 03, 2022, 09:11:02 PM
I do not think that Nice has any chance of getting even a draw. PSG is getting ready for champions league, and we all know how important that is for them. If they just leave their players out to get rested, that would be harder because they are not too tired anyway and players would lose match sharpness if they miss this game.

Maybe Messi would, since he is a bit older but Mbappe is healthy and young so he will play and even him alone makes all the difference. I believe that PSG doesn't really feel not favorites to win against any team. Nice could be third, and they could be doing well in the league but that is not against PSG, that's just too much of a difference.
1706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: March 03, 2022, 04:33:42 PM
The game between Sevilla and Barcelona is still long way out though, isn't it? Everyone is talking about that game here and I got confused about it, why do people keep talking about this situation right now? I get that in the future those two will play and that is going to be a bit of a game changer, that is understandable. But, that is like a month away from right now and it shouldn't really impact the situation all that much until then.

We are looking at like 3-4 more games until that date and considering that, it means difference could be a lot bigger or a lot smaller until then, right? We may have Barcelona ahead even before that, or we may have 10+ point difference for Sevilla as well, who knows?
1707  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Holding or swing trading on: March 03, 2022, 05:00:10 AM
I have noticed about swing trading, you do not have to watch the chart all the time, you do not have to wake up at night to see if you are making profit already, it is not stressful, not causing emotional stress. But some traders can use a very high leverage that can make it worse.
Swing trading is not kind of active trading hence it must be shorter version of holding Cheesy. Yeah, if you are able to predict the turning point of markets then you can go for swing trading. If you try to catch short term swings then that will lead to scalping which is one of the worst strategy in day trading at least for crypto markets.

For example, if you were able to predict bitcoin market's ATH by December 2017 and if you have managed to sell your one bitcoin around $18k to 19k levels then you might have got chances to buy back for 4x gains when bitcoin crashed to below $4k by December 2018. Same could be the another scenario where bitcoin crashed from $64k to $28k in 2021.

Swing trading needs fundamental analysis along with little bit technical analysis whereas holding just need only fundamental things hence holding is suitable for all and most other things including swing trading is suitable for "traders only".
1708  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|✍️Signature Campaign|▶️Video about BFG🔋Rakeback+Recharge bonuses on: March 02, 2022, 04:05:50 PM
A passive profit for people who understand the system, just by staking and other forms of passive profits, you will enjoy the service that BetFury provided to their investors and supporters, and aside from that, enjoyment for gamblers who also want to use the platforms
to be entertained.

The offer of taking a step into investment side while using the casino to play your favorite game, BetFury, is doing its best
to give both entertainment and passive benefits.
The passive income world is a massive world where everyone is dreaming of a stable and profitable one. After all, if you have a passive income from something like BFG, then reinvest all of that, and do that for 10 years and it is stable, then you could get very rich.

Imagine putting up 10k dollars today on USDT and earning 20% per year on it without ever touching it, then imagine you keep on investing just 100 dollars to it every month, and you end up holding it for 20 years without ever touching it, do you know how much it makes? It makes 627k dollars, 10k initial and 24k over course of 20 years, so nearly 593k earned from the interest. So what makes us not do this? The lack of stability in most stuff.
1709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: March 01, 2022, 09:38:23 PM
Barcelona has been incredible for the last few weeks. They have proven to the world that they are not the same team that started the season, they are so much different and they have been playing so much better. If you still think that Barcelona is not really good this season then you haven't watched them recently.

Auby once again scored, that is a proof that they are making smart financial decisions as well. That torren transfer for 50 million was the only one that they spent a lot, aside from that they haven't paid much and they got so many cheap or free players that turned the team around. Right now they are different even on roster, but the mindset is a lot better as well.
1710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 01, 2022, 06:23:23 PM
I would guess that there is now a chance that for the first time in his history, Lebron could get traded. I do not know how and why and to where, but Lakers are feeling like Lebron at least has some financial value, he is a great player but also has financial value, people come out to watch him, and they could trade him to some team for future assets back. They lost all their picks, and if they could trade Westbrook, AD and Lebron to some team for just some assets, and expiring contracts. Then they could rebuild it like they did during last years of Kobe.

That D'lo, Randle, Lonzo, Ingram, Hart, Clarkson, Kuzma, Caruso type of players are now doing pretty well, if they were all back in Lakers today, they would be doing better than right now. I am not even kidding, those players in the same team today would be doing better than today's Lakers. Hence rebuilding could start as soon as this off season.
1711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: March 01, 2022, 03:25:42 PM
There needs to be some sort of independent organization that checks refs as well. Since it is a huge league system, where they have as much as 10+ leagues in England, that is a proof that they could find refs from anywhere, they could always replace refs, just take one from league below, and they would do the same so every ref would jump one league above.

Create that independent organization and when one ref does something stupid like this, give them a warning, 3 warnings and they are out, if they do not make any mistakes again for a whole year then they get a clean sheet at the start of the new season.

This means refs would have to be very careful, they are getting paid a ton of money and they are also in charge of a multi-billion dollar sector in England as well, to give it to someone who makes more than 3 mistakes in a season would be wrong. This would prevent any bad refs and would give FA a chance to have the best by allowing only the ones that do not make mistakes stay and the bad ones will be gone.
1712  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation hits Russia on: March 01, 2022, 06:50:16 AM
What did they expected? I mean whatever they do, will be done to them and that is the nature of the war. They are fighting against Ukraine? Well Ukraine will fight against them. They want to stop Nato from doing something? Well Nato will help Ukraine win the war. They want to use their money for power grabbing all around the world? Well their money will be seized (hence inflation).

Even in a very harsh nuclear situation, if they ever send Nuclear weapons to anywhere in the world, I guarantee you there will be nukes sent their way as well and they may think that maybe they can stop them, but there are over 15 thousand nukes in the world, eventually a few will hit. So long story short, inaction would be the best resolution for them.
1713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 01, 2022, 05:55:44 AM
This is very correct, although I see he ( Gerrard Pique ) made less errors from last night game, but I see him leaving the first team anytime soon.
Gerard Pique is a veteran and a Barcelona legend, he has giving them everything he has and i also think it is time for him to step aside, and either move to another less competitive league or stay on the bench more often, but whichever it is, i am pretty sure Barcelona fans and board are appreciative of him for all this years. Having said that, Barcelona really did make good signings in January, and it is starting to click for them, they have scored about 12 goals in their last three matches, Aubameyang, F. Torres, Adama Traore have really raised the level of the team, as things stand they would definitely qualify for the CL, and then we could see them competing for the league by next season, Good job Xavi.
I would guess he could just simply retire as well with the type of money he has. I do not understand these players that are trying to milk the last ounce of money they could from the game, I mean they could simply just become staff and earn millions that way as well. Imagine him getting to be Barceloan staff, spend maybe a year or two on youth teams first, learn the ropes, and then become the defensive coach and run the defensive side training as well.

It is really not that much of a stretch and he could totally do that. He may have been a great player at one time, and he is not that old right now, but he is just way too slow for this eras football, even at his peak, he would have hard time with today's football where everyone is running like mad men, passing is less important and just straight up running and dashing around players is more common.
1714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 28, 2022, 08:15:29 PM
Harden definitely does bring a lot to the table. I am not saying that they are already champions or anything like that, obviously they will need to play a lot more games to see if it will go on like this.

Harden is known MVP and diva, Embiid is the best player in that team, right now Harden loves passing and sharing and being happy with his teammate, but when people start to see Embiid as the reason for championship possibility and leave Harden aside, that is going to be different.

If Harden could reel in his ego, then we are going to see this team win a championship either this year or next year. They are certainly one of the best in the league.

What is it that truckers want to get out of this? No mandates? So, what's next, asking USA to lift theirs as well? This is for the truckers that go to USA, and there is a mandate on that side as well so that means if they go to USA, then they can't move on, need to wait, by the USA side.

Let’s realize that this is a political power grab by the conservatives, truckers are mainly conservatives as well if you look their stances, and I do not care what the polls are showing right now, Justin is doing the right thing. It is idiotic to ask for a mandate to be lifted for one profession, you either lift it for the whole nation or lift it for nobody. I am VERY against lifting it for truckers, that is unfair and unjust.
1716  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Giving Bitcoin to Employees on: February 28, 2022, 04:06:00 PM
I basically did this at one point. We were creating a project, and we needed people for a few things, since we were a small project and paid very little, it was just some college kids that we needed to work with for small stuff. Like telegram community management, all they had to do was be online when we were asleep and delete all the spam, that's it, they didn't even need to respond with anything specific, just say that we would be online later on and that would be fine.

Secondly twitter check, like see what people wrote as response while we were asleep, and respond accordingly, like "contact us at @here for further support" type of stuff. Basically just be online when we are offline, that's it. We paid crypto for it as well, and it worked out fine.
1717  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Be comfortable with your strategy! on: February 28, 2022, 02:16:36 PM
Being comfortable with your strategy doesn't mean that you shouldn't really learn what others are doing. Obviously get better at studying other people and learning how to make money as well. It just means that you should try to avoid using a strategy just because someone else is using it.

I personally try to avoid it as much as I could, and just study what they do and try to apply it to what I could do. Doesn't mean that you have to do exactly one to one what they are doing, but also doesn't mean you need to ignore everyone else. Learn what they do, study it, and then apply it to yourself if you think that it fits your own strategy or mindset. That’s how each strategy starts out.
1718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: February 27, 2022, 08:11:35 PM
Honestly Madrid keeps getting wins all the time, no idea how Sevilla could get a bad result at all. I understand that Sevilla could win games and they are doing it again this week as well but it is impossible for them to win every single game, they will eventually lose points. Meanwhile Real Madrid is doing fine as well, meaning they are not leaving the top spot to anyone.

I know we would love to see Sevilla win even if we are not Sevilla fans, I am not even Spanish and I would guess that it would be awesome for me to see Sevilla win because it is a rare thing and not something I could see plenty of times in my life hence why it looks so much entertaining.
1719  Economy / Economics / Re: Ban Russia from SWIFT! Protect Ukrainian Sky! Send NATO to Ukraine! on: February 27, 2022, 05:04:55 PM
Germany just decided to send tanks and so forth to Ukraine's help as well. USA and UK already did a lot of horrible financial strains, basically as much as cutting all financial ties and keeping all Russian money in their nation. Russia is back to 2016 levels of economy ON TOP OF all the inflation. Imagine if you were making the same money you did during 2016 but with today’s prices, could you even survive that? You would be so much worse, I would probably be going hungry.

At the end of the day, Russia is getting all they deserve with the exception of getting a fight back. Ukrainians are fighting back, but other nations are not helping in the war efforts, just regular words and so forth.
1720  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin likely won't recover until 2025 on: February 27, 2022, 02:14:12 PM
I don't mind if bitcoin won't recover until 2025 because that means we can still have the opportunity to collect more bitcoins from now until the recovery takes place later. We still have at least 3 more years to try to get more bitcoins and I'm sure if the price moves up and down more, we can profit. We can save profits in bitcoins until the recovery phase comes again and we will have a chance to sell at the next high price.
Yes, i agree with the first part that we need to collect as much bitcoin as possible but i may not agree that bitcoin may not recover until 2025. What if i say that bitcoin will reach another all time high before the next halving or before 2025 ?

Believe me. i am still hoping for the blow off top for bitcoin which may be over 100,000$ and that too in 2022.  Smiley There will be a bad bear market of 2 years after this event.
I would agree with you on the 2025 and before part, it will definitely recover before that. I believe that it will recover to 50k+ in 2022 without a doubt, that will certainly happen if you ask me. And in 2023 we are going to be 100k+ for sure, don't know if it will be January 2023, or December 2023 but I know that it will happen somewhere between those days.

However, the important thing is that we are doing fine right now with the bitcoin price being like this after all the horrible stuff and all the economies of the world being so harshly crashing. Look at every economy, not just Russia or Ukraine, but all the others, there is chaos everywhere and we need to just calm down and expect that bitcoin is not untouchable during this period as well.
