1701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A person who won 600k$ in lottery on: September 14, 2023, 09:34:49 AM
What would you do if one day you won the lottery?

I would male various investments and live off of their passive income. Stocks, bonds, real eastate and crypto. Especially crypto. However, even though $600k gives you a great head start, it is still not enough to create a decent passive income. 2 million USD is a more realistic target so, I would use that $600k and keep working till I reach $2m and then I would just do whatever I want. There is one thing I wouldn't do with that $600k though, I would never ever gamble with that money because every gambler knows that once you hit the big prize, it is a matter of time before you lose it if you keep playing.
That's definitely the best thing to do. Probably I would do the same, real estate would be my top pick as an investment. Investing in real estate would never be a failed investment and surely become the most efficient passive income, also the value of it will continue to increase unlike in other investments, where there's a possibility to go down.
1702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Behaviours of gamblers you dislike. on: September 13, 2023, 11:52:08 AM
What I dislike the most about the behavior of a gambler is their attitude. If they lose they will be aggressive towards other people, it's like they want to pass the negativity to other people. And if they win, they are being arrogant and show off to other people. They post their winnings on social media and so on.
1703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling by financial dependents. on: September 13, 2023, 06:38:25 AM
At this time every child imitates his parents. Generally parents encourage the things that are good for the child and parents discourage their children which are bad. When a child sees his father gambling, that child will also be encouraged to gamble because that child will think that what he is doing must be a good for him. Moreover at that time the child will not be able to understand good and bad. So every parent should not give their children any idea about gambling. When children become adults they must be able to understand what would be the best for him.
Yes, usually gamblers will follow the people around them, for example their parents, family and friends because usually people will imitate the way they gamble or see them. It's true what you said, I saw a family of gamblers who lived close to my house and their children often gambled because His parents or father often gambled on the lottery but his son enjoyed playing slot gambling.

But this gambling family also has a business, it seems that even though their gambling family is still under control, they don't even appear to have gone bankrupt and it seems they have their own budget so they don't get addicted or have special methods so they don't become addicts, as far as I can see they gamble at night and trade during the day. and do business. but maybe this will be a correct or good example for other gambling families.
That's why it is really important for adults to hide or just avoid doing things that they don't want their children to do in the near future. If the adults do the things that younger generations shouldn't be doing, young ones will think that it's okay to do things such as gambling. Wherein, this may be the cause of their problems sooner or later.
1704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has your Responsible Gambling had any of these Effects on You? on: September 12, 2023, 12:38:32 PM
Poor people gamble with the hope that they might get a life-changing amount from their gambling activities since that will change their lives forever. That is the reason why they usually gamble despite not having a lot of money because that hope never dies, especially if you know that it is the only thing that gives you some hope for a change in your life and there is no other way for you to get a lot of money and get a better life for yourself and your family.

However, I don't recommend anyone this thing because gambling is not something that provides riches to almost everyone. So if there are a million poor people gambling, only a few out of them might manage to get something significant from it and others will simply be wasting their money.
If they keep gambling without trying to find another job and only rely on gambling, they will probably lose even more money because gambling is not for making money. It may be necessary to provide people with an understanding of the long-term impacts of gambling so that they can slowly leave gambling and look for other sources of income. They put their families at risk when they cannot earn money from gambling.
That kind of people should stop and avoid gambling. If they have found a job and continue to gamble, this will only make them addicted to gambling even deeper. And if ever they make money in gambling, the ending will always be the same and those winning will surely lose in gambling. Most of the time, gamblers without any other source of income do not have any other idea where to get money once they experience winning.

We will never recommend them or anyone who wants to earn money through gambling because we have seen many impacts on people who gamble. We advise these people to look for more promising jobs rather than gambling. They should also realize that gambling is not a way to make money.

I agree, that instead of having a better life, they only give problems to themselves. Financially stress can become the reason for the breakdown of a person. People who experience that think differently and it makes their family worried. If they don't have the capability to provide for their gambling habit, better to stop and find a job.
1705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Learning from those who have experience on: September 12, 2023, 10:37:50 AM
The question that worries me is, what if you win the jackpot, what will you do then, continue to play every day or finally stop? If you continue to play, then this is pure addiction to the game.

After I hit the jackpot, I was still playing at that time. I played the next day and some days of the week I used some of my winnings to gamble again. At that time, everything is still under control, there are no problems in mylife. Until the money from the jackpot runs out, I use is the money I saved. In fact, I always refused to be considered addicted, because I thought, I only played 1 season in 1 day, with a certain amount of money. But, when I lost, the next day I played, I always hoped for the jackpot, and continued to do so. That's when I admitted that I was addicted. However, financial problems have a positive effect for me in reducing gambling, for the first time I'm able to stay away from gambling even not opening the gambling account that I have.
I think the moment you used all the money you have win from winning the jackpot, it is considered addicted. Because to continue playing even after winning and you starts losing, it gives you the thinking of maybe the next one will make you win. It's not an obvious act but this is actually the beginning of addiction.
1706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Typical scenario when you are losing on: September 12, 2023, 09:27:05 AM
Captain bad luck strike me hard once again on the start of this week. I commit again this scenario "Playing gambling after a recent huge win" for whatever freaking reason that tingling me to play despite I'm really controlling myself to abstain today since I'm in a huge profit last week.

I had a total of 500$ by playing slowly from Monday to Saturday then I rest on Sunday. I was planning to abstain gambling this weekend but guess what. My initial 100$ loss turns into 600$ loss real quick. 20 Straight blackjack hands with high bet doesn't gave any profit. I really feels like the casin is just getting back what I win for experiencing this terrible loss.

On the brighter side, I can finally abstain gambling this week now that my profit and initial bankroll already gone.  Cheesy

Lol that's hard abstaining for sure at the moment you can follow your plan since you already lose your money for this week.  Cheesy

Maybe I will not follow that since if I win some huge money from casino I usually rest for more days or even week since same as that I don't want to lose all and get upset for unwanted result. But also well it look likes its ok from your end since you still enjoy that lost so maybe even money is gone still it serves its purpose on getting enjoyment.

Tbh, I’m still getting frustrated the moment I’m losing but I can easily accept that shit happened always in gambling that’s why I can always move on quickly. I’m always more positive after the lose because I do things that I can’t do whenever I always have the urge to gamble. For example, I manage to plant a couple of herbs and repair my dog kennel that is wreck for a couple of weeks just because I want to forget my gambling loss. Now, I just laugh about my losses and forget about chasing this losses this week.

A real goal achievement but a bit expensive.  Wink
Everyone feels the same when we lose. It's really frustrating how come we often lose like continuously or every hand is not a winning hand. That's why in these times we should really focus on other things than to think about our losses and stress over all of it. This might not be easy but this is the only choice we have since we won't be able to take back our losses even if we stress ourselves out.

1708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The success of the project depends on the project developer himself! on: December 12, 2020, 07:31:49 AM
The success of the project will not always depend on the developer. Why? There are so many things they need to consider, not just marketing, building up the roadmap, their product, their community, etc. These are only a few things that form a project, not only the developer.
1709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many old coins are dead and abandoned by the developer, WHY? on: December 11, 2020, 03:16:56 PM
Let's hope that abandoned coins like Spreadcoin experience revived interest from a new dev team sometime in the future.
Don't expect anything on projects that have died or been abandoned by the team because the team that has left will never come back, even if the brand returns, the rest will not attract investors anymore
old coins that are dead are forever dead
Yes, stop dreaming and continue with another coins. There is no way that an abandoned coin will be revived again. Even if they were able to, it is hard for them to gather investors again as investors will be careful or maybe distance themselves from abandoned projects because it might be abandoned again once the developers get money again.
1710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHICH COIN IS THE NEXT ETHEREUM ? on: December 10, 2020, 09:33:25 PM
There will be no next ethereum. Just accept that ethereum is ethereum, no one can replace it. But there are other altcoins that is showing potential or most likely we can say that have a good impact like ethereum, which is  bnb. If bnb will improved more, it might be able to fully compete with ethereum.
1711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy Low, Sell High on: December 09, 2020, 09:46:51 PM
People don't buy at low prices because they are hesitant or even afraid the price will fall further, and if they look at the current price they will regret it.
That is what we always encounter in crypto community. People tend to wait for the right opportunity, but how they see opportunity is when they can assure their profit which is really hard to secure. People tend to buy when the price is already high and they get along with the pump which is really risky instead of buying at the bottom and wait for the right time when it increases.
1712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone who have worked or currently working in casino? on: December 09, 2020, 08:21:58 PM
Do you really need a casino worker for an advice or to share an experience? As far as I know, they only work in the casino to serve gamblers and not to give them an advice. Always remember that thegamblers mkney serves as the salary of casino workers. They work for themselves and gamblers do gambling for themselves.
1713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What have you done/are you doing with your ICO coins? on: December 08, 2020, 07:58:19 PM
Most ico coins or altcoins I have received from bounty from that year was already sold. There are still altcoins that remain in my wallet but some of them are just shitcoin or most likely being abandoned by the developers. They do not have the value since the day they were sent to my wallet.
1714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Email address exposure in spreadsheet on: December 08, 2020, 08:21:31 AM
I don't use my main e-mail when joining bounties to avoid receiving spam or unsolicited messages. It is risky to use e-mails that you use on your accounts, wallets, etc. when filling-out forms, just to be safe have a spare e-mail for other activities such as bounties to avoid the risk of having your accounts compromised.
Yes, most bounty hunters do the same. There are so many people who are using other peoples email address. About the exposure of email addresses in the spreadsheet, this is all depends on the bounty managers if they will hide it or not. To avoid that, using a dummy email is a must. This will help us to keep our personal email as safe as possible.
1715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A game called Ending on: December 05, 2020, 09:12:13 PM
I've heard it before also here from the forum many users created a thread something like that is it in sports am I right specifically basketball? I think we could ask the bookies about it but I'm not quite sure if this would be popular to book maker.
Yes, it is something that involves sports which is the basketball. It is only popular in our country which has been like a tradition or something like that, everytime that there is a basketball game, (PBA most of the time), expect that there will always be those persons who will accumulate players to bet on their ending.
1716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mobile wallet is more important on: December 04, 2020, 09:19:15 PM
many people still think that mobile wallets are too dangerous to keep there large amounts of coins so they prefer usual online wallets. if you lose your telephone with mobile wallet installed someone could get all your coins.
Many people think that way but it was before. Right now, people do prefer their wallet to be on their mobile phone because it is more convenient than using a desktop wallet. And if ever that the phone was lost or get stolen, I am sure, the owner will always have his own private key to open his wallet using the other device.
1717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any recommendable good strategies for football gamblers on: December 04, 2020, 07:42:35 PM
Do you even know the team that you are putting your bet? You should have known first anything about the teams and the game itself. You should watch more watches since betting in football is not like picking a team then you can expect your winnings. You should always know if the team that you are about to bet is good enough to make you win.
1718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Spend or HODL Bitcoin during COVID-19? on: December 03, 2020, 10:40:54 PM

What would be the right thing to do during COVID-19? Should I spend Bitcoin or should I just "HODL" it? The more Bitcoin's prices increase on the market, the more tempting it is to spend one's Bitcoin holdings. But at the same time, you want to "HODL" your Bitcoin for the next ATH in price. What would you do?

It actually depends on you. If you have enough money to support yourself or your family for a living during this covid-19, then you should stay to hold your bitcoin. You shouldn't spend it as much as you can since there is no one who can tell what would be the worth of it in the next following months.
1719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: IF ONLY BOUNTIES WILL KEEP THEIR PROMISES. on: December 03, 2020, 09:55:04 PM
Bounty hunters know well about this. It is just they keep on believing that luck will come at them. I mean, they consider it as luck or just a chance for them if the bounty will pay. They keep on getting as active as they can, they continue to participate in many different bounty campaigns to increase their chance of receiving the payment.
1720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will the current Bull run stop on: December 02, 2020, 10:09:40 PM
That is something that no one can ever tell. We just have to keep on giving advice and warning to those newbies that is possible to get trap at the current price of the crypto in the market. I have also seen people around me who are trying to invest and the only thing I can do is to give them advice as they might get trap if they tried to invest while the price is at peak.
