1741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Great news for XRP coin holders? on: November 21, 2020, 11:37:26 PM
This is really a great news, because of this airdrop we can see the sudden change in price of xrp. Sudden increase that we can see many investors really starts to buy to be eligible for aidrop. In just a few days its price suddenly jump from $.26 to $.45 real quick. I have seen so many post of xrp holders, they continue to attract more possible buyers and its price continur to increase.
1742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin price rise affect your gameplay? on: November 21, 2020, 10:24:11 PM
It makes me more cautious about how much I bet and how often, so for me I'd say that I somewhat have cut down a little. This is a psychological thing for me where I fear that if I gamble too much BTC I might end up losing more than today's value given that BTC price keeps on rising.

It is that fear which does feel that it affects my odds of winning. Remedy wise, gambling with alts make things just a little easier but not too much as even the top alts have started showing a green market.
Just convert to alts. Although they are increasing, they are not as expensive as bitcoin. And moreover, you can split alts into many smaller parts which makes your gameplay becomes as normal as you used ti play with low-price-bitcoin.

If you fear of gambling, dont gamble. It is not good if we have such negative feelings like that. Wise gamblers will stop when bad emotions comsuming their body
This is what I did, I converted to doge instead of playing in btc. Aside from saving enough money because the transaction fee cost is also low, my gameplay seems like normal because the price of doge is really low compared to btc. The number of bets I can made is higher than staying in btc.
1743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't repeat same mistakes on: November 21, 2020, 12:44:41 PM
In 2017 when bullrun took over crypto space and many altcoins joined later some people still keep holding thinking that their altcoins will keep surging and surging, little did they know that bull season always have short life span when comparing to bear season, bear season can stay for years but bull season is just in months, so why are you holding when you should be selling?

Remember that some bought bitcoin at 20k and they have no choice but to hold till today, imagine all this year's waiting just to get back to where you once are. Bitcoin is over 18k now, good for them cos they are near recovery since 2017.

Know when to get in and know when to get out, don't be a greedy bastard.
You can't blame them for keeping their altcoins and keep on hoping that the price will continue to increase. Every holders does have their own expected amount, if it was not reach, then they will not dump their coin until it was reach. Aside from that, if they don't need the money then there is no need for them to sell, and most of them are after for long term investing.
1744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why can't the current Ethereum price keep up with the Bitcoin price? on: November 20, 2020, 11:10:34 PM
It is because ethereum is independent and its price do not depend on the increasing price of bitcoin. Ethereum is having a hard time because of its scalability issue, though its price just recently pass $500. But you should accept that its price won't keep up with the price of bitcoin as of now.
1745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram is trash on: November 20, 2020, 10:35:16 PM
I think some project team pays hypers to always say positive things about Thier projects and some are investors too that would want to say everything good so as to get more investors to buy while they dump. I could vividly remember seeing such in two or three groups so let's always be careful. Telegram is an avenue of awareness.
Yes, they find people who will hype the project and spread positive updates regarding the project to keep it alive. That's why telegram is not as good as it is before, also, telegram is being used by many scammers that's why we should choose the telegram channel we would be joining with.
1746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lottery Gambling on: November 20, 2020, 10:08:52 PM
...
Only luck will tell if you'll be able to win it, no strategy no patterns or whatsoever. But once lucks comes
your way everything will changed up, luxurious life will be there for you. There are lots of peole who keeps
on buying lottery  tickets hoping that they'll hit it up and be lucky, In most cases, whenever there no winning
the many that will buy the draw.
wherever it is (online lottery, crypto-based lottery, and state-run lottery) in general the lottery is purely based on luck, you cannot use any strategy.
even in our country, there is a kind of lottery that rests on a "dream", Every dream you experience while sleeping has a number and if you are lucky your number (based on the dream) comes out then you will win a multiple of money based on how much money you put in at the beginning..
This is way too superstitious which i dont really consider to be effective but hey, people do really make use of this hints into their dreams
that might able to hit them up in real life.I have seen one of my relative do believe that if they do dream off with some numbers then they do tend to
make a bet with it and believe it or not they do really won but i do make myself believe that it was just pure coincidence because
nothing can really influence when it comes to someone luckiness into things specially in lottery.
That is what we call "lotto" in our country. And yes it seems to be ineffective but people do really win because of that. People do bet on the numbers they dreamed about which is most likely their strategy of what numbers they choose to bet in the lottery. We find it a coincidence or we can also call it pure luck.
1747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hidden team members or not make any difference? on: November 19, 2020, 10:52:28 PM
In the world we are in today many find it very hard to trust new crypto projects and team going anonymous is even more worse, people will have less trust on such project, even if the project use case is very good it's a wise decision for the team to come out in the open
If you trust the technology that they bring up could be success in the future I think it does not matter to involved/jump in anonymous team project. But the thing is we couldn't find such kind of project these days and beside most of them are anonymous, the project itself does not has any real usecases or new solutions to the current market.
That's not easy to trust even if their technology is trusted. There is no guaranteed that it will succeed, and if the team is completely anonymous, I don't think that it is good to join with that kind of project. But yes, we couldn't find any project such that and most of the anonymous team or even if the identity of the team is in public, the project being legit still depends in their intention.
1748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to KittieFIGHT (KTY) old token holder on: November 19, 2020, 12:46:00 PM

I asked the admin in their telegram group why the change in their contracts address, immediately I was kicked out from their group leaving my question unanswered.

So what actually will happen to old KTY token holders, does it mean the token is useless forever? Or KittieFIGHT team scammed the old token holders, let me understand this if you have any idea about KittieFIGHT development.
The moment they kicked you out of the telegram group means that they don't have any reason to answer you. If participants do not know about the information why thet changed their contract address, o
It only means that they are trying or simply going to leave all of you behind.
They changed the contract address, so yes, the token you just received is now useless. You cannot use it anymore or sell it
1749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers lose more money than win. on: November 19, 2020, 11:43:01 AM
First-Level-of-Lose in-Financial-Investment advice: Lose amount of money that you can afford to lose and you are happy parting ways with. A lot of gamblers fail to abide to this golden rule.

People should really stop gambling if they can't afford it.

I don't know where they are getting this confidence that they could still increase their money despite the fact that they could lose a lot of money. They should just stay chill, not let the emotions run out. They should really believe in math and just think about the possibility of them winning which is low, and the fact that they don't have that much money to use makes it riskier.

It is not their confidence that is keeping them to play and thinking that they could still increase their money, it is their hope to get their money back, get more money, or simply just their greediness is what drives them to play until they have nothing else to bet.

Failure-To-Walk-Away: Gamblers spirit failure to walk away after win game, instead bet further with hope of more wins until the won money is finished. In 2009 survey findings by researchers from University of Stanford in California, found that around 92% of people who do casino gambling are addicted.

This is hard sometimes.

I can control myself when I lose but when I am winning, there is this thought that either you win or you lose your next bet, you could still have that profit and just stop after that one bet but usually, it doesn't end with one last bet. In my case, I usually have the of 3 after winning. If I can't stop betting after winning, I just need to bet 3 more and stop lose or win.
As what I have said above, that is also greediness. That thought in your mind when you win, that you could still have the profit so you can continue to bet more until you can't stop.
1750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A crypto Scammer on the run on: November 18, 2020, 10:47:10 PM
~

Law should be strict against such scammers and they should be punished as much as possible because these scammers destroy the dreams of hundreds or thousands of people that invest their life savings in hope of better days ahead but all they get is scam and regrets.
Aside from the law being more strict than it was before, new investors should not think of making an easy money with their investment. This is the reason why there are still some victims, they think that investing is all about sending the money and receiving an interest after a short period of time. We should know that there will be no scammers if there will be no victims that will let it happen.
1751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best coin to buy a cup of Coffee? on: November 18, 2020, 09:48:21 PM

haha very interesting, maybe if I become a coffee seller,
I will accept crypto currency instead of Ethereum and Bitcoin, because you know that fees are high,

Isn't Ethereum and Bitcoin cryptocurrency? I wonder why you exclueded this two from crypto.

Maybe what he meant by that is he is going to exclude this two crypto due to its high fees.

I will choose Doge to sell the coffee.

There are lots of cryptocurrencies that are very fast in terms of confirmation and has very cheap transaction fee aside from Doge.  Like for instance, there is XRP, Tron, Nem, Waves etc,  OP can just pick what he prefer to use.
Yes, but doge is considered as the cheapest transaction fee. But yes, it still depends on OP what he prefer to use, whether he will use cheapest transaction fee or the fastest/instant transfer.
1752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling could be used to pay for covid problems on: November 18, 2020, 11:39:14 AM
Yes, you are right. If every business can follow the government rules, that can help the country's economy grow and they can have better development in the future. So if the casino which can make a lot of money from the gambling industry can pay the taxes which will be bigger than the other business, I am sure that can help the government. Every help from the business owner will be worth it for the government to run their countries and help other people in this pandemic.
So far, seeing that there are only a few casino places that follow the rules of the government, the rest they don't care about the rules given by the government, online gambling is difficult to ask to obey government regulations because they don't have real-world gambling locations so maybe That's one of the thoughts of online gambling place owners.
I don't think so, the rules given by the government still applies especially in online gambling sites that uses local currency. The terms and condition will always apply in this matter. It is just that, the user always disregard it that's why those rules are just getting wasted.
1753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Escrowed very important for bounty? on: November 17, 2020, 09:23:34 PM
Escrowed is super important for bounty. Infact I prefer escrowed bounties even if it didn't do well I still appreciate it very well. Reason why I love some bounty managers and their bounties because of escrow. Would really be an amazing one.
I didn't understand what's that meant "if I didn't do well". Temtum projects cheated the bounty hunters, even bounty managers. Escrow process is equally important with legitimate process. Summer doesn't agree with the escrow process.
I think what he meant by "even if the project didn't do well" is the outcome of the project.
Even if the project escrowed their bounty rewards so that the bounty hunters will receive it at the end of the campaign but the project is not in good condition in terms of achieving its goals, numbers of supports, etc.
1754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CAN WE STILL GET THE 2017 BULL IN THIS 2020? on: November 14, 2020, 11:47:10 PM
There is a chance that we might see the long awaited bull run this year 2020 or it might happenin the early 2021. There's a lot of good news regarding crypto that boosts it to the unexpected price. Right now, it shows sudden increase on its price and many of us are expecting the correction will happen sooner or later before we can see its price going to the moon.
1755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some people stop their crypto project? on: November 14, 2020, 11:21:59 PM
That's why you should not trust the new project, I don't say that all new project not trusted but most of them is. So if you not sure about the team of the project better you skip. Join in a new project is so risky but so profitable if you can find it. And I think to find a good project is not for newbie.

Btw, there is nothing you can do about such bad developers
That's true. Most of them always stop their project halfway once they get the money they want. It is not applied to all projects but most of them actually do this kind of exit. In this situation, we better try to investigate deeper and try to analyze the project what their real plan and if they plan for the long term of just a short period of time.
1756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: November 14, 2020, 11:00:01 PM
never get emotional when playing I know you want to win back your losses but if you play with your emotional status is not stable, it will only result in more losses, take a break, clear your mind, and forget what happened, getting emotional make a lot of regrets for those people who gamble, play only a few bucks if you win then walk away, the same thing when you lose

That's the reason why most gamblers lose it all in the end and why we are at a net loss in total! It makes no sense to chase losses since every bet is independent of the previous bets and hence if we just chase our losses then in long run we will lose because even after covering all losses, we will stay greedy to chase more and more!
Yes, they tend to rush into things and always try to take all their losses back. Which is not really the solution and what we should do when we gamble. Their emotion is the primary reason why they get into such situation, they keep on pushing themselves going further and trying to bet everything they have until they satisfy themselves, and most of the time, until they lose everything.
1757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I guess bounty hunters really kill projects on: November 14, 2020, 10:13:46 PM

Although it recovered later, but it's not looking good at all, I guess this dump is caused by the bounty hunters because they just keep dumping the token, what about you, what do you think is the cause of this massive dump?
A portion of the dump is from the bounty hunter, indeed, but the reason why its price dropped to the lowest, I don't think it is because of the bounty hunters. Just like you received, they also received only a small amount of bounty, do you really think that it is enough to dump the market?
And you should not expect bounty hunters to hold their bounties, they are participating in bounty campaigns to become loyal supporters, but only for bounties. It is common for them to sell it once they receive it.
1758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum User Spends $9,500 in Fees Sending Just $120 on: November 13, 2020, 11:56:22 PM
Another fees error has been registered on ethereum blockchain. According to this news from bitcoin.com
https://news.bitcoin.com/ethereum-user-spends-9500-in-fees-sending-just-120-in-an-error-to-forget/
A guy from reddit has declared to have loss around 10K USD just for a fee error, sending around 80x times more the right amount.

What you think about these errors? What did you think about miners that decide to keep this fees?
It was the sender who made the error, so the miners will really keep it. This is not the first time that this happened, it was happened also before where over a thousand dollars were spent only for a small amount of money, unfortunately, they were not able to return it back even if it was made in error.
1759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Indian boy committed suicide after losing money by Betting in IPL on: November 13, 2020, 11:08:21 PM
...The boy probably went through a mental stress and thought that everyone would be mad at him if they ever found out what he has done.

This is the sad thing about this. People don't need to be hard on themselves when they made these selfish mistakes, that is why we have these consequences so we can learn from them, not run from them. I don't blame the teenager for this, I just hope that people should try to strengthen themselves especially in these kinds of situations.
But the one who committed suicide is just a boy. He still doesn't know much about that, as he said, he probably thought that everyone will be mad at him or what. He borrowed money from his friend and try to take back his losses but lose all of it, in this case, a boy with a very young mind will probably face a mental stress and cannot think right.

The current status of my portfolio is getting worse. Most of my crypto is disappearing fast due to the needs I need to provide not only to myself but to my family. Though, I can finally be able to start again, there are still a lot of struggles like natural disasters and so on.
