1761  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: October 24, 2021, 11:48:25 AM
Another good exhibition match that is worth watching, our Mike Tyson is fighting a young Logan Paul who has not won a single fight in an exhibition match. This should be exciting as Miky Tyson although oldies already but still aggressive, so the question is, are we going to see a knockout? Choose a boxing in the poll you believe would win.
I would like to see Mike Tyson knocking out Logan Paul and that is my expectation but since Mike Tyson is 55 years old i am not sure how he will maintain the same level of composure when he is facing someone younger. I will be mad if the fight goes to a draw which i really do not want to see, i wish Tyson would land one good shot so that Logan could sleep:D.
1762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MMA Info and Predictions - Bellator, KSW, PFL, ONE... on: October 24, 2021, 06:18:39 AM
It is a tailor made fight for Fedor Emelianenko to win and retire for good and i hope they have selected a good opponent to make his dream fight and end his career for good.
Fedor Emelianenko won without much struggle in the first round and he looked like the old Fedor Emelianenko with his combinations in this fight but there is no talks about his retirement as he has one more fight left in his current contract.

I am trying to find a book to place a bet but i could not find which is strange because there is PFL odds but not this event in Stake because Usman Nurmagomedov is fighting in the card which is a sure shot win but not sure about the odds.
Usman Nurmagomedov also won the fight in the first round but i am yet to see the entire video of the fight, not sure about the odds that were available but Usman Nurmagomedov would be a heavy favorite considering his skill level and his opponents they are giving right now.

Very poor powerplay. Proteas looking really bad, Maxwell and Josh Hazelwood using their IPL experience quite well.

Faf, AB, Tahir and Chris Morris must be sitting in their shorts, sipping wine and on zoom call talking with each other. Did selectors left you too?  Grin
IPL experience was crucial as the players who played are performing better during the tournament and i have no idea why they left out Faf du Plessis and Imran Tahir is one of their best spinners in the shorter format and turning away from ABD even though he did not perform that well during the recent IPL, he is a player that could change the match anytime.

One thing i was impressed is the way in which Temba Bavuma captained the side defending a small total, apart from the last over he was troubling the Australian batsman with his bowling changes and field placement which was great.
1764  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think narcos may actually be on the 10 richest? on: October 23, 2021, 08:50:11 PM

25B in 1989 would make Pablo one of the richest persons on earth. By comparison, today's most notorious narcos are not making the cut. It seems like "the business" has become more complicated than before.
The funny thing about the calculation of wealth of criminals is that they are not accurate. I read about the case of Pablo Escobar and he was regarded as a savior in his home country as he used to help the poor which means he is redistributing his wealth and no one knows exactly where he invested and stacked his money globally  Grin.

When it comes to Dawood Ibrahim, it is true he started out as a petty criminal and then grew when the Indian economy started growing in the early 90s. He is having many real estate companies globally run by his Benami partners and he is having multiple business ventures in the UAE and he is still running his business even though his current location is unknown and there is no way to access and calculate his entire wealth.
1765  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Going public saying you own Bitcoin is not safe anymore on: October 23, 2021, 07:31:14 PM
Nowadays we need to be careful when publicly admitting to owning Bitcoin. A lot of crypto traders have been receiving threats as in the case of Daniel one of the guys from Chart Champins.
This is not the first time we are hearing about criminals targeting cryptocurrency users who are showing off their cryptocurrency wealth in social media, ironically the first cases i read was also from UK where a family was held at gun point to get his private keys and he was a social media influencer and used to boast his cryptocurrency investment through his social media pages and this was well before the last rally.

So be smart and never post about your investments publicly and if you are doing so make sure you can protect yourself against these criminals  Grin.

Extraordinary things like these arent really that a shocking thing here on crypto space where even odd things
could really happen. So lets just deal with it.  Cheesy
It is literally shocking to see these kind of valuation for these memes, i have a lot of paintings and i am also thinking to post them. After seeing this thread i went down to the site and thought of minting some of the arts i am holding but what shocked me is the minting fees of ETH which is $280 to mint one art which is crazy high and thought of passing them  Cheesy.

I might get back to it once the price is normal or have to use Polygon to mint when i am free.
1767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance promoting Shiba Inu on: October 23, 2021, 03:09:43 PM
Well SHIB says that not the Binance so how can you be so stupid and trust these kind of fake marketing strategies. Wake up and see what is the reality its just a tweet about listing a project nothing special about it.
It is just an announcement but the wordings which misrepresents that it will be pinned on top the page is the hype they are trying to create with these statements so that anyone who does not understand what is going on will think that it is a huge news because Binance is promoting them which means it will rally big time. It is a global market and you should understand that there are investors who does not understand English and these kind of statements can fool these investors.

Even if the promote still its only good for short term investors.
Majority who go after hype are here for quick profits and you cannot expect them to hold for the long term.
1768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which is Better to invest in (LOGICALLY,) Bitcoin or Dogecoin? on: October 23, 2021, 01:23:07 PM
In every logic Bitcoin is superior then doge coin. In my point of view we can not compare these two coins with each other. Bitcoin is far ahead of Doge coin in every department.
In terms of valuation i would always use Dogecoin than Bitcoin to gamble because i am not looking to make any huge profit, just wagging bets for fun and Dogecoin is a perfect coin to gamble  Tongue Cheesy.

@OP Logically does anyone in the right sense compares BTCitcoin along with any other coin in the market, let alone comparing a coin who has copied the source code of BTCitcoin, technically Dogecoin copied the source code of Litecoin while Litecoin copied BTCitcoin  Cheesy.

RSA used to have zero black players in there team in 90s AFAIK, check there team when Hansie Cronje was there captain. This quota system may be bad but its introduced so that native South Africans (the blacks) must have representation in the national team. Its also a matter of fact that blacks don't have adequate facilities compared to whites, that's why they cant compete with white cricketers.
It is a fact that in the early 90s the South African team did not have black players and you need to remember that South Africa was reinstated to play cricket in 1991 and the players in the team were native South Africans and their first black player was Makhaya Ntini and he was in the team because of his talents.

South Africa and Australia are playing and South Africa is struggling like i expected and this is a match for Australia to win unless we see some magical spell from South African bowlers.
1770  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is it safe to use Binance on VPN on: October 23, 2021, 09:27:55 AM
I would like to know is it safe to use the binance account through VPN ? The main reason for asking is that since VPN changes locations ( IP of different countires), binance may find it suspicious that one day you are login from one country and other day from another country.
Since they keep track of of our location, will it have any affect on your account ?

Also anyone can share his / her experience of using binance on VPN ?
If you are worried about using VPN which i will be because i do not take risk when it comes to my finances, why not purchase a dedicated IP address and start using them, there are many service providers who provide dedicated IP but right now Binance is asking everyone to verify and even if you purchase a dedicated IP how you are going to overcome that.

If you have a solution for verification then go for dedicated IP.

Previously teams like Oman and Kuwait used to recruit players from the Pakistanis and Indians residing in these countries. But now they are directly recruiting first-class players from the sub-continent. They just give an employment offer to these players so that they qualify for the residence requirement and then pack the national team with foreigners. The problem here is that teams that are dependent on native players (Kenya, Nepal, Thailand, Japan, Papua New Guinea.etc) suffer because of these mercenary teams. There should be a limit of 4-5 foreigners in the playing XI.
It is true that the players in GCC teams are not even having citizenship status and all you need is to live in the country for 4 years and the ICC have given them a exception in the name of developing Cricket and the average salary of the players is 25k AED which is a good pay scale considering how much other professionals earn even with years of experience Grin.
1772  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance.US takes price 87% down on: October 22, 2021, 07:53:44 PM
Looks like that Binance.US had some issues which caused the price to drown below 9k. I wonder who was the lucky guys buying at such low prices  It seems that this was not the first time an incident like this happen. Back in 2017, Coinbase saw the price of Ethereum being flushed down from $319 to 10 cents. Apparently, this also happened with Traditional Trading. So this may well be moves caused by exchanges themselves to access low prices.
This is not the first time these kind of mishaps happened in Binance, whenever there is a rally or a correction, you will see some kind of fishy bug in their platform and then blame and this happened in their liquidity market as well and many lost huge amount of money and will they be compensating everyone who lost money. I have no idea how they are handling all these.

Even if someone purchases at lower valuation, they would not allow to withdraw citing it was a bug, but i am yet not clear what happens to users that lost big amount during these situation.
1773  Economy / Economics / Re: Entrepreneurs, money and investing - your culture on: October 22, 2021, 05:56:53 PM
In the country I was born in, speaking of money is even considered bad taste among those who consider themselves entrepreneurs or owners of companies or property. When making business plans, there is much speaking about mission, objectives and there is an underlying belief that only there is certain social class that is legitimised to do business. Also, inverting in stocks is considered a merely speculative activity, that is the closest thing to gambling and only for the greedy.

This way of thinking does not do compel people to seek financial education or try to build a business. What about your country?
I cannot take about the entire country as everyone is an individual and everyone has their thought process on how to handle things and your opinion does not mean it is followed by everyone in your country, i can only talk about the things in my family. There is no restrictions to discuss and we used to have a healthy discussion about everything including politics or the finance sector.

Investment is not mere speculation, you need to work hard on collecting information around the globe and you need to have the patience to learn and monitor the current affairs to be successful in any form of investment.

Yes exactly if there is not even a single local in the Oman national team it means local talent is not great there. They are importing players from other countries and pays them some  good amount so they come. They need to run some kind of campaign to promote cricket among local peoples.
The Arabs love Football but you cannot expect them to play cricket, i used to play for a few Cricket clubs in the UAE when i was there representing a few companies which i was not even working just for fun Cheesy and you cannot find any Arabs playing Cricket and the majority of the players comes from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan and if you are interested in playing you will find many clubs and if you are good you will be picked to play and might take you to tournaments and there are many grounds to play Cricket.
1775  Economy / Speculation / Re: New All Time High Baby! on: October 21, 2021, 07:16:37 PM
Although exchanges are having high volatility where btc took flash dump and recover instantly. Fun part,  binance us is having the lowest price of $8.2k and future traders got rekt or short traders were luck to get profit. As a result, we get small correction after making new ATH and it's time to move slowly, but $100k milestone is on the way.  Wink
I am watching the market and i have no idea what the direction would be this week end, there is a minor correction and i have no idea about the real reason apart from the article you posted and some of the news media is also covering the same new, so i am not sure whether that is the reason for the correction, i thought some of institutional investors are booking their profit. Whatever it may be, it is good to see that the market is moving in the right direction as expected.

Yeah afganistan is facing some terrible times and they need support from ICC as well as other country boards as well. Afganistan is full of talent and if given right guidance they can become a team to beat in the upcoming times. Rashid khan can be one of the best spinners in the test as well like he is in t-20
I do not think that there i no issue for the Afghanistan cricket board but the outside world might take action against them because of the Taliban rule as they do not allow Woman sports at all and Cricket Australia is vocal and they might call off matches against Afghanistan if the situation does not change, the biggest question is what will the ICC's position in this regard, as we are yet to hear any statement from them.
1777  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 18, 2021, 11:48:21 PM
I will ask president Sergio Mattarella to intervene in a third world country issue so that the cricket fans can watch cricket who thinks they are gladiators when they play a fucking sport:P. It is just a sport and i cannot understand why to mix politics in sporting events.
This is going over for decades and  whenever there is political tension between India and Pakistan they usually severe the ties between them and the ICC has also not taken any position in this regard and they only face each other during ICC events which makes them exclusive matches only for ICC events which is going to be a huge deal given the history between India and Pakistan.

~
Although Indian team is quite strong but i wonder why their legs tremble when they play against Pakistan  ?
You should ask the question to the fake hype the RSS is creating in social media, the players are not afraid and what happens if they loose the match, nothing  Cheesy.
1778  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC hovers above $61K amid US regulators against physical product Bitcoin ETF on: October 17, 2021, 08:25:02 PM
Amid renewed concerns over US regulators' acceptance of physical Bitcoin ETFs (exchange-traded funds) later this year, Bitcoin hovered above $61K on first approval in the United States.
The hype of ETF is going around for a while and even during the last rally in 2018 this topic of ETF getting accepted was a hot topic and even now 3 years after that we are talking about this as if the regulators will be accepting ETF, i am not sure we will see that happen just yet and we can talk about this topic during the next halving and rally rather than having high hopes now.

India always have upper hand until Pakistan got one of biggest final in icc champions trophy 2007. India is strong team but Pakistan is always unpredictable no matter who is in there side. I still feel it will be a 50/50 game. That's why I am talking my time before I place my final bet. Wish me luck.
Pakistan is unpredictable and i wanted to see a big tournament between them as they always provide entertainment for the fans, but considering how India performs well in big tournaments against Pakistan i am not expecting any upset until they prove otherwise.

~
Over confidence is not good and history don't always repeat. So be ready for an upset.  Smiley
I am not playing in the team and my confidence does not matter, i only place a bet in the match and this is just a sport, if it is a competitive one, so be it as it will be a good entertainment for the fans Wink.

We had an upset today, no one in their wildest dream would have thought Scotland would defeat Bangladesh but that is what happened and i am glad i made a bet on the most runs scored in the first wicket rather than money line Cheesy.
1780  Economy / Economics / Re: Reality Check on Crypto on: October 17, 2021, 05:31:40 PM
Sometimes, this forum thinks that the rest of the world will flock to Bitcoin in droves because of its qualities.

Some people think that every potential user/investor will care about its decentralized features or its high value.
If anyone thinks that every investor in the cryptocurrency market really care about the technical aspect of a project, then it is a wrong concept as majority are here to make a quick profit and they will move on to other ones once they book their profit.

Since you added a poster of Vitalik Buterin, he was always boosting his invention of ETH and he always claimed that it will solve the problems BTCitcoin will never solve from the start and always mocking and now what happens to their scaling project is a comical tragedy as users are spending huge amount in transaction fees because of their inability to scale and still look at their valuation as they are soaring despite their higher transaction valuation.
