so i know you guys have this problem often... when you only have pictures to jerk it to, and you are bored of the one picture opened up at your computer.. so then you have to take your right hand and put it on the mouse to change them up. don't nobody want that.

so you guys end up making collages of the picture to save your right hand the time and effort... or maybe i am just projecting? either way, i just ended up saving someone lots of time. if you found it useful, you can thank me.. but whatever you do, just don't give me a high five.

Lol, you saved them all? Looks like we've got a freeloader here, Monica.
17682  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how secure is double encryption of blockchain? on: January 05, 2014, 12:20:23 AM
Can cold wallets ever be 100% safe?
Yep. A decent cold storage wallet is as safe as it gets.

Backups.

What if they all get stolen and damaged?  Cheesy
17683  Other / Meta / Re: "Last Post" Nonsense on: January 05, 2014, 12:18:50 AM
I thought since I'm a newbie I had to meet a post requirement. I've been logged in for at least 4 hours, I think.

Tells you top left. You just need one post consisting of several sentences, then you can move out of the newbie section, and since you can post in here I think you can post everywhere else too?
17684  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how secure is double encryption of blockchain? on: January 05, 2014, 12:17:04 AM
Thoughts?
1. Malware on your PC that replaces the recipient address with its own just before it creates the signature.
2. Hacking the server, injecting something small in javascript that silently sends your private keys somewhere else (after they are decrypted by whatever security means you use client side).
3. Malware on your PC that does keylogging + man-in-middle 2FA intercepting (i.e. you think you're authorizing your login with 2FA, but actually you're authorizing the hacker who is waiting for your cellphone's result).
4. Malware on your PC that redirects your web traffic from blockchain.info to honeypotblockchainlookalike.ru.
5. Modifying your hosts file with the same effect as 4.
6. DNS hijack with the same effect as 4.

And I'm sure there are plenty of other possibilities.

Want your Bitcoins to be absolutely 100% totally safe? Use cold storage or local wallets in dedicated offline environment (e.g. Ubuntu with encrypted private keys and script to sign transactions offline).

Can cold wallets ever be 100% safe? They can still be stolen or damaged.

17686  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How much external immigration do you want in your country? on: January 05, 2014, 12:13:38 AM
Just let everyone live where they wish.

While Immigration is great and a vital part of most economies, you can't just say to everybody in the world that they can come and live in your country.

Why not?

Seriously? So billions of people can emigrate to a tiny island and the infrastructure and services wont buckle and will continue to work fine?

If your nation starts to buckle, why would anyone want to live there?  Is this the island of free blow jobs?

For the reasons people normally want to live in the places they emigrate to.

Then surely everything works with these billions of people on a tiny island; I can't imagine a scenario where people would want to live in a broken nation, aside from them either being held hostage or liking it that way.

No. There's only 63 million people in the UK, so I don't think it could handle billions of people deciding they want to live there. It would be a broken nation if that happened, which brings me back to my original point.

Yes, I see that; your point is, people are too stupid to know what's good for them.  I disagree; I think people realize that, by the time the UK hit 100 million and it really started to get crowded, they wouldn't try to pile another 900 million in there, and then upon seeing this, that the UK somehow fit 1 billion people into its borders, that people wouldn't continue doing this clown-car routine and attempted to fit another billion people.  Long, long before this occurs, people realize either of the following:

"Moving to the crowded UK severely outweighs the negatives of living elsewhere."
or
"Moving to the crowded UK is not worth it."

And if the 1st is happening, you have far greater problems than a crowded UK; what the hell is going on with the rest of the world that the UK appears attractive?

Nor can you let so many people in that it even starts to get any where near buckling. So that's why you cant just let everybody that wants to go to a country in willy-nilly. There needs to be controls in place.
17687  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: This is exactly why I believe in bitcoins ! VISA & Banks are thiefs ! on: January 05, 2014, 12:08:30 AM
Bitcoin started a revolution, for starters it is a better way to pay for things, because its transparent and peer to peer.

Things are about to change 180 degrees and we are a part of it.

We can only hope. Sadly I don't think the masses are as clued in as us renegades  Cheesy.

You wont be saying that when you're burning in hell  Grin.

Lol - why would I go to hell simply for not believing?

It's not logical that a god would give me intelligence then expect me not to use it.   Undecided

(Unless the god is a dick I guess, and enjoys torturing people.)

I dunno, god seems to be a pretty big cunt for sending people to hell for being unbelievers.

And I agree with your logic.

What you say about doge coin ? Is there any future for him ?
I started to collect him but i have doubts about him.
He had good start but now he is like 36 satoshi.

There never was any future in doge. Miners are already ditching it.
17692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Do You Want to See in an Alt-Coin? on: January 04, 2014, 11:54:16 PM
Thanks for all your thoughts! I understand many of you are against the development of new currencies, but what's the harm in doing so? If people love Bitcoin, they'll stay and I see it as doing the community a service as in getting the word out about cryptocurrencies (yes... there are people who have no idea what they are). I'll put the posts here into consideration as I continue developing.

There's no harm, but there's really no need for new ones either unless they bring something new.

Roll on independence in Scotland.. Fed up of Westminster taxing us.. Bedroom tax is the latest one!!

Saw Cameron on TV with his serious face on the other day urging Scots to vote no on it for the 'sake of Great Britain'. I'm sure they're just going to miss your taxes and don't really care otherwise.

btw to whom each state is in debt to?

They must be in debt mainly not to each other but to some private firms or individuals...?

Banking institutions that lend them the money.

That was the description of the YouTube video. Can't you just look into evidences before making assumption?? Did I even call you a fool? It seems you are the one calling yourself a fool.  Roll Eyes

17698  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can someone verify a potential scam website for me please? on: January 04, 2014, 11:35:20 PM
luckily I'm on linux  Cool.
I bet 'luck' had nothing to do with it.

unlike most windows installations that come pre-infected, GNU/Linux requires a conscious decision to install it.

What do you mean?

I mean the choice to install a GNU/Linux OS is a decision that is made in the mind and not 'lucky', it is a considered and calculated choice. Buying a PC/laptop and using whatever OS came with it (which usually happens to be a version of windows) is down to 'luck'.

So most people are using windows which is due to luck, but those running a GNU/Linux distro is down to skill in picking an OS.

Ah, ok I see. Guess I've got skills then  Cheesy.

Sorry, I won't ask for BTC if you want to tip me please do so Tongue

I have tipped people too. Not the end of the world. And most people don't mind.

I think you guys are getting my posts wrong. I believe in BTC, and I like to advertise it Wink

Asking for tips/donations is still asking for money, but it's better than just begging. I don't think anybody is trying to put you down for it, and as Beetcoin said and I have said before, if we were all women we'd probably be doing this and more  Grin.

So somebody send her tips and see what you get  Cool.

yeah, if i were a chick i'd charge $10 in bitcoins for cameltoe pictures.

Yeah, easy money. How about doing a man-toe? Pull your dick down between your balls and tuck it into your arse.

you been on reddit lately, haven't you? and you've been on that subreddit for nudes.

I've hardly ever been on reddit and I don't know what you're on about.

some guy did it last week or so.. he made a camel bro picture of himself, and all these guys started saying "your so hot bb, im stroking myself right now." then a few hours later, he tells them that it's just a pic of his dick tucked around. in resulted in massive self comment deletes.

Haha, that's hilarious. Were you one of those guys?
