Okay I am just exploring my awesome miner  20 unit license premium I believe  cost me 170 usd.

I activated cloud service  and  I seem  to have an issue  with my next step.

Pc 1 has window 10  and I loaded  awesome miner to it. Along with the 20 unit license  I want this unit to stay in my home.

Pc 2 has windows 7   and I loaded awesome miner to it and up pops 2 unit free plan.  as I understand this  I can have up to 4 pc's on 1 license.

I can not seem to get this set up correct.

Tomorrow I drive to my onsite location  that has 53  miners.  I want to bring the windows 7 pc up there and load 20 of the 53 units to it.  come home and use my windows 10 pc at my house  to control  the 20 units via cloud.

I signed up for cloud trial today.  but I think this is not correct.

why can't i get both pc's to say they are on the same license ?

What type of miners are you going to be setting up on your 53 Miner site?

if they are GPU rigs, you don't need a remote AM host at all
if they are ASICs (I have no experience with them, own none), supposedly you can setup some gateway/router VPN and still monitor them at your home site. OR easier, setup TeamViewer (or similar) on your Win7 Machine and AM host on it. take Win7 computer to site, and let it manage miners on site, and you can monitor via TeamViewer remotely.

I was looking to avoid all that.  I had a 20 unit license with awesome miner. never used it.

this will be a lot of asic antminers.

So I don't mind using the license And paying patrick for the cloud service. this should be a simple thing to setup.  the website says I can load awesome miner onto as many as 4 pcs.

i find it really annoying that it is not easy to put on the second pc.

i keep getting the free edition on the windows 7 and no option to simply put the license number from the windows 10 pc.  If I can do 4 pc's it should have a way to let me load the pc's up.  the windows 7 pc is not very expensive and I would want to leave it at the mining site but with only a free edition and not the premium edition it is not going to do what I want.
You can enter your license information on the second PC as well. Just go to the Options dialog, Registration section, enter the same details you had before and then click Verify. As long as you don't exceed the total number of miners your license allows, it's no problem at all to activate the same license on a second PC.

The preferred solution would be to have a VPN here where you let your Awesome Miner at home connect to all miners and control them from a single location.

If that's not an option, you will have to put an Awesome Miner PC at each site, but then it will be completely separate installations - you can however use the same license. With Cloud Services you can make sure that each Awesome Miner instance is reporting to the cloud, and you can assign a unique Site identifier in the Cloud Services configuration of each Awesome Miner.

how switch s9 to profit mode?
In order for Awesome Miner to run Profit Switching on an ASIC miner you need to make sure it's running with Privileged API access first. You can see on the Summary tab in Awesome Miner if the Antminer is running with Restricted or Privileged API access. For more information, see:
https://support.awesomeminer.com/support/solutions/articles/35000085989-configure-privileged-api-access-for-antminer

Other than that you simple activate the profit switching feature for ASIC miners with a click in the Properties of the miner. For more information about how the profit switcher works for ASIC miners, see:

thanks patrike  . plz add wake up lan .

how i use cpu with percent ?
you can use Wake-on-LAN as a rule action.

WOL for each miner and group would be awesome.  Smiley
As pointed out above, Wake-on-LAN is already supported as a rule action.

If you want to manually execute rule actions for the selected miners/groups, please enable "Support manual activation" for the rule. This will give you an Actions button in the toolbar where you can have your "Wake on LAN" feature. See:

I want to comment on a ruling that has already happened several times. I will give two examples.

I changed the exponential reward factor of ZERO equihash 192,7 and I put 5. The coin disappeared from my list of COINS. It is very easy to search, you are pressing Z and you are going through the different currencies, but this has disappeared from my list of coins.

Right now I just modified VEIL X16RT and I only added the price in SAtochis, since it uses a very rare exchange. I only added the price nothing more. And the currency has also disappeared from the COINS tab. I have searched several times but it is nowhere.

Although I put the price on satochis, and the coin disappeared, when I flipped the coin, it still gives me 0 of profit, because if I throw it to mine, even if I do not find it in coins.

I do not understand this problem, I just tell you what happens, to see if you can reproduce it.

I do not have selected exchanges neither in options nor in the options of the currency. I find this error very strange.
Sometimes coins are added or removed in the coin lists from the statistics providers. This can be for many reasons and often only temporary.

Awesome Miner has a setting to keep coins even if they no longer are included by the providers. Please see how "Keep coins no longer listed by provider" is configured in the Options dialog, Statistics Providers.
I know that reading them can cause coins to be lost for a few minutes. I talk to you about days, XGAC disappeared days ago. I have the option activated so that the coins that appear are not deleted. And I have not ignored them in options> coins.

All this I know, it's very basic. In other currencies I have changed the price and they have not disappeared, but these coins do not exist in my AW, they left.

I do not see ZERO, XGAC and the other of X16rt, some for changing the Exchange and others for changing the exponential value, or for the price. And it has only happened to me in these, as I have said in others it has not happened to me. I know this is very strange, I know, but I have to say it in case someone else happens the same.
Thanks for the report. I will take a look and keep an eye on this. For the coin Zero I know that Awesome Miner for a period of time incorrectly considered the short name to be ZERO when it should have been ZER. Since a while ago it should however show up correctly as ZER.

Hey Patrike,

can you please check and integrate the new SgMiner for ZCoin? https://github.com/zcoinofficial/sgminer/releases

Tried it by myself with a user defined miner. Even with the same settings as i wrote in the .bat file, it runs extremely slow trough AM (getting only 10% hashrate as in the .bat).

Here is the .bat which is fully working, maybe it helps you a little bit:
sgminer.exe --kernel mtp_vega  -o stratum+tcp://xzc.2miners.com:8080 -u blabla -p x --intensity 18 --text-only --device 0,1,2
Did you use the Diagnostics feature in Awesome Miner to compare the command line, to ensure that it was identical, including the "--intensity 18" parameter that looks quite important here? You can share the exact command line via PM if needed.

Clones of existing mining software with support for a single algorithm has typically lower priority for being included in Awesome Miner, as they typically can be added manually like you did.

Yes, it is identical. The problem is AM always use a config-file. And whenever a config-file is loaded (seems no matter whats inside, maybe still buggy or whatever), the hashrate is increadible low. Without the config-file, so just with the command-line, its perfect. Is there any way to tell AM not using a config-file, but with full compatibility mode?
Thanks for the details.

In this case I think the best way is to use the Device Profile concept (see the Options dialog, Device Profile section). You can define a profile with Intensity set to 18 for example. In your miner (or pool) you can then select this device profile. The result should be that the Intensity parameter is part of the configuration file.

Patrike,

Can you explain how the exponential factor works for coins?   How do you know what the factor for any particular coin should be?
When you calculate the number of coins per day for a given hashrate, there are many parameters taken into consideration like difficulty, block reward and also this exponential factor. It's simply a number that is unique for each coin, although the value is 32 for most algorithms and the value 0 is also common.

I don't know the number for each coin, but for all popular algorithms I enter predefined values in Awesome Miner based on my findings when I try the calculations on WhatToMine, CoinCalculators and so on.

If you add a new coin in Awesome Miner, the default value will be 32. In case the calculations are wrong due to another exp. factor is required - you can play around with this factor until the calculations show up correctly.

Hi Patrike,

small suggestion. If you hover your mouse at the bottom of AM over the little coin symbols, would be nice if you can also show the exchange which provides that price right now. Sometimes you see a nice price, but you don't know which exchange got that price  Huh
Good point! Maybe a right click menu where you can go to the coin on the Coins tab? I'm also planning to show the exchange name on the Coins tab when running it in compact list mode.

Okay I finally have some good expansion plans and now have a 53 unit setup located 60 miles from my house.

So I need to use awesomeminer to do this.  I do Have a 20 unit premium unused plan.

So My idea is to load it to a small pc I have a good i7 hp elite pc.  leave that pc in the new location and do the cloud plan.

so pc in my house >cloud>pc in new location with 53 miners.

this should let me run all 53 units if I have a plan that does that many units.

I don't have to set foot in Clifton NJ I can run from Howell,NJ

Next question  do I need cloud service for 100 and Ultimate 100

I have Premium paid for which is 170  for 20 pieces.

It looks like Enterprise is 340 for 40 pieces.

then Ultimate 100 is 700  for 100 pieces.

If I set the gear up In Clifton which has been done. I have 53 units I have the 20unit awesomeminer so does it cut off 33 units.  If I do the cloud and look to see the 20 the liensce allows how does it pick from my 53 units.

I know I will need to expand to more units.  So next question is. There anything between 40 units and 100 units.

As 53 units is a lot smaller then 100. Realistically I may have three sites with 70 units.  And the cloud.

So would I need three PCs one at each site?

And the cloud which would let me see all three locations.
Thanks for your questions.

First of all, you need to use the Awesome Miner Windows application to make the initial setup and add all miners. You cannot do that via the Cloud Services web interface. You either need to do that on site or via a Remote Desktop / TeamViewer connection to your remote PC on the mining site.

Cloud Services can be used to monitor the miners and perform the most common operations. You can access this web interface from your home for example.

If you are planning to run 53 miners, Awesome Miner will only let you add up to 20 miners with your current Premium Edition license. It will block you from adding more miners than your license allows. To all these miners, you do need the Ultimate 100 license as it's intended to be used as soon as you get to 41 miners or above.

To use Cloud Service, you also need a subscription level to handle the same about of miners. In this case Ultimate 100 subscription. So it's a Ultimate 100 license for Awesome Miner and Ultimate 100 subscription for Cloud Services.

You need a PC running Awesome Miner at each of these locations unless you have a VPN network that makes all of them into a single network. With a VPN solution like that, you can have a single Awesome Miner that is controlling all your sites, because it allows for connections to miners on all the networks. In many cases, this kind of deployment is preferable.

If you go for three separate installations of Awesome Miner, they will each report to a "Site" inside your Cloud Services web interface and you can control all the three sites via the web interface.

Okay  what I will do is  run it with one pc in clifton,nj  keep it at 20 units
I will add  cloud and see how I like it.
I will then expand to ultimate.

Thanks for reply,
BR,

 phil

"I have two computers, can I use the same registration code on both?
Yes, you can use the same registration code on up to four computers that belong to you if you monitor the same miners and don't exceed the number of miners your license if valid for. If you need to use the same license on more than four computers, please contact us first for approval.
It's not allowed to share your registration code with other users and not allowed to publish the registration code for everyone to use. Registration codes being shared with many users or published on the Internet will be blocked without refund."

I think I need it on 5 pcs once I am fully done with ultimate by june

For now  just 1 or 2 pc's
Thanks for the update. For the number of computers you need to activate the license on in the future, just drop me an e-mail once you install the software on a larger number of computers and it's no problem at all.

Bminer is giving problems to many people in my group, the cards are dropped and the equipment is stuck, but it is something that does not happen to me. Some fail and others do not, I do not know why, but it happens, I'm one of the few in my telegram group that Bminer behaves well

Anyway Bminery Gminer have a very similar performance, so you can use gminer without problems

There has been a lot of development activities for both Bminer and Gminer recently as they have been competing in delivering the fastest mining performance on the new popular algorithms. With many updates, new algorithms and speed optimizations, there all typically some issues as you point out. You might have seen that both the Bminer and Gminer threads here on the forum are very active with many users discussing the recent releases and any issues they run into.

I'm trying to mine Beam with AW and Bminer however I've got one issue.
AW is adding SSL into command line for some reason, how can I change this ?
I want to use new Nicehash stratum
stratum+tcp://beam.eu.nicehash.com:3370
It is properly added into pool config
That's what AW is generating as command line (I removed my BTC address so please don't mind XXXXXX)
Command line arguments:  -uri beam+ssl://XXXXXXX.PcOffice:x@beam.eu.nicehash.com:3370 -watchdog=false -api=0.0.0.0:4030
Awesome Miner was adding beam+ssl:// all the time when using beam. I will update this in the next release so it only will add "+ssl" if the URL actually indicates that it should be used.

Please see how "Keep coins no longer listed by provider" is configured in the Options dialog, Statistics Providers.

hi patrike, how i can add external linux miner?
i need to monitor this miner https://github.com/mimblewimble/grin-miner/releases
Thanks for your question. I'm not able to find any details about a monitoring interface (API) for this mining software. Do you know if that is provided at all?
dont know.. but is integrated in hiveos and SMOS.. so i think has API..
I'm unable to find any information about in API for this one. It might be that the other tools uses some local console text parsing of this one.

What I will do for the next release is to add support for running Grin Pro miner on Linux with Awesome Miner.

Official Ccminer v2.3.1 by Tpruvot

https://github.com/tpruvot/ccminer/releases/download/2.3.1-tpruvot/ccminer-2.3.1-cuda10.7z

Jan. 30th 2019 v2.3.1

Handle Lyra2v3 algo
Handle sha256q algo
Handle exosis algo
Handle blake2b standard algo
Built with CUDA 10 for SM3+ devices, SM 7.5 arch was integrated, but seems to only waste disk space.

Note: CUDA 10 requires a nvidia driver 410.48 or more recent.
Thanks for letting me know. It was quite some time since ccminer was updated. It will of course be included in the next release.
