181  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Freewallet.org is a fraudster who cheated me out of 15.2BTC on: July 14, 2019, 06:37:24 AM

Our guidelines are compliant with international AML regulations and standards.
That's the main reason why this procedure is in place.
I don't really understand this. Was it because of security issue ("suspicious activity") or AML?
[/quote]
Reveal of suspicions activity implies we'd act within the frames of the AML regulations.

from what I saw, you are anonymous:

https://freewallet.org/about

and I do not see any license issued by any government that gives you authority to request documents from your clients, what authority do you need to report your wallet activities? because I'm not seeing another reason for you hold OP funds, and do not talk about your TOS, that this is already tiring

Hello,

As per our terms and conditions, we are authorized to perform the verification procedure: https://freewallet.org/terms (please read the 5th paragraph)

However, we are making sure to have our customers' accounts verified as soon as it is technically possible.

In your case, the risk-scoring algorithm has detected suspicious activity. For security reasons, we are not able to reveal all the details of this process.

Thank you for preparing the requested documents; we'll definitely get back to you today.
184  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Freewallet stole over $1,000 in ZEC from me! on: July 10, 2019, 09:14:18 AM
I had been using Freewallet for a little over a year. Last month they updated their software and REMOVED a (ZEC) wallet address I had been using for over a year and replaced it with a new one! They did NOT notify me.

Over $1,000 in ZEC was sent to the removed address (I landed a block) and they are giving me every story in the book as to why the money has not been returned to me. I am furious.

I plan on contacting Apple and Google and hopefully I can get their Apps removed so no one else will get robbed.

Hello Mark,

Checking your support ticket, I see that the ZEC transaction has been sent to the old ZEC address, thus, the funds were not reflected automatically in your account remaining in the old address. We registered your request and will process the transaction manually in chronological order.

To keep receiving funds without disruptions, please update your receiving address. Thank you!
185  Economy / Scam Accusations / Freewallet: transaction is refunded on: July 08, 2019, 12:45:44 PM
Hello yoozbit,

Please refer to the official notification published by our company previously: freewallet.org/blog/update-address
We've also sent newsletters about the coming change of wallet addresses.

Sorry to hear that you encountered this issue. We'll definitely get back to your transaction as soon as it is technically possible.

The part of transactions with similar issues has already been processed.

We'll keep you posted.

UPD: Here is an important update: we've refunded your transaction.

Dear moderator, please note that the case has been solved and thus requires a relevant tag in the title.

UPD 2 Thanks for the edit!

Lying after lying

Hello,

As for the contact information, kindly refer to Clause 8:

We understand your deep frustration with the situation.
However, the on-chain transactions out of your account have already been completed, we are unable to retrieve it. Keeping 2FA protection enabled is crucial when you are handling transactions with such considerable amounts.
As you know, some exchanges have even made this feature mandatory for all their users.
We hope that you will focus on ensuring the highest possible security on your accounts after this incident.

Since access to your email was gained by the third party (a hacker), it could lead to change and removal of important details. We are here to assist as far as it comes to the investigation procedure initiated upon a relevant request of local authorities.

That's all the information that we can share at the moment.

We are always available for further official queries on our support channels.

REEWallet.org is a SCAM!!
Scammers site Link:https://freewallet.org/
Amount Scammed:120,000 USDT

Freewallet is a SCAM.
They use all the unusual activities as an excuse to steal the user’s money.
I have provided screenshots of all trading blocks and transactions.
They are looking for various reasons to verify me, and the requirements are very unusual.
I submitted
ID card, hand-held ID card photo, bank card, bank statement, handheld APP ID photo, 2 inch photo, utility bill

To ensure the security of the account, why does registration do not require so many frequent authentications?
We use the FREEWallet account to have a digital currency to perform frequent security authentication.

Hello wanghenlen,

No worries: your account is totally safe. We are running the verification procedure and reviewing the documents you've sent. Thanks for providing us with extensive information on your account, it helped a lot.
We'll be in touch with you until the procedure is over to make sure your withdrawal will be as smooth as possible.

As usual Freewallet is demanding document after document without explaining the reason why there were doubts about the customer in the first place. You have to love to harass your users and trash your reputation because every month we have another case of a freewallet customer complaining about your out of the blue verification process. As usual is always accounts with high balance. I am amazed that someone still is willing to trust you with a cent. Better solve this or I will have to change my feedback from neutral again to RED.

Hello,

You were one of the testimonies of a completed verification case yourself. Because the amount is not small, we want to make sure we are doing everything for safety and preventing illicit activities.

Hello

I don't know you understand what I said or not? Have you ever read the story or not? You and your team are not able to answer my question. I never get the mentioned email.

Your team said my Gmail hacked too at the same time (joking?). If you right, give me exact Time and Date that your server sends mentioned email (Never and never sent. Because somebody changed my confirmation email at your website without my confirmation).

Several times I ask you for this information and each time you give a vague answer. Why?

Answer me here and provide us a link to your website that your address appears there. why you scare? Just give me your office address and manager name.

Several times I get similar this answered from your team: “our team will forward your request to the right person”

You are not responsible in front of the clients that trusted you. I'm not the only victim but hope to be final.

Please note that: You are harming your business by yourself not anybody else. You are not able to remove the story by wasting time.

Hello Ali,

The address and the email can be found on our website here: https://freewallet.org/processing Here is also described the procedure for processing legal requests. Please note they will not be carried out on social media platforms.

We can confirm that someone gained access to your email. Should you need anything else, let us know via email as described on our website.

Hello

Free Wallet Team is Scammer. Do not trust them.
See the following story

https://freewallet.site/full-story.html

Hi Ali,

We understand you want to hunt down the guilty one for hacking your account, however, you are spreading false information across the Internet harming our business. Unfortunately, the hacker was able to withdraw your funds out of Freewallet and we are unable to retrieve them. If you would like to submit a report with the local authorities, please do so. In addition, we would like to emphasize that your account wasn't fully protected with all the available security features available in the app.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get EOS Wallet for Free? on: June 14, 2019, 03:09:19 PM

Freewallet, I don't want to click your link. Please tell us, what benefits can you get by taking on the expenses of creating a new EOS account?

Sure.

No need to click the link.
(Just in case anyone is interested, feel free to check our Crypto wallet app for Android/iOS users or EOS app in the Google Play.)

The main thing is that a user is not charged for signup and use of the app. EOS-chain transactions are free as well, of course.

Our benefit is a happy Freewallet user:) Thank you.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get EOS Wallet for Free? on: June 14, 2019, 12:28:42 PM
With Freewallet, EOS service is free because we took all the expenses on ourselves.

(please check: https://freewallet.org/blog/eos-free)

We'll be glad to answer your questions!

And the destination tag he asked to mention was 3442106114, can we find which exchange does that tag number belong to?

Thanks

Our engineers sent all the information they could find by email, please check your inbox and let us know if there is anything else you need.

Hi again!

We checked from our side and found out that the funds never came to us. We believe that whoever got access to the XRP, wrote down Freewallet in the explorer to throw you off the path.

We are so sorry about this whole trouble, please stay safe!
196  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 10,000 $ Scam, please advise. on: June 03, 2019, 08:00:12 AM
I have been scammed recently and i am trying to investigate to track the scammer.

In one of his scams for ripple, he asked people to send the coins to the address in the link below with DESTINATION TAG- 3442106114

https://bithomp.com/explorer/rf4nfAvyX31VbHG73k2PTm5L4vwTNFfSro

is there a way to find the exchange associated with the above TAG number, if i know the exchange i can contact exchange and try to trace him.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Hi! Thanks for reaching out to us. We will investigate this and get back to you by email.
197  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Worst Online Crypto Wallet Ever! [Poll] on: May 20, 2019, 10:25:05 AM
I voted Freewallet.org.
When I was a newbie here I didn't know which better wallet to store my ERC20 token from bounty reward, upon searching I found out this wallet and I downloaded their apps into my phone and looking an ETH address I don't know if they are supporting ERC20 token.
To cut a long story short, when I was planning to withdraw my token I didn't find the name of token there but in etherscan.io I saw my token was there. The thing that makes me more disappointed they don't have a support team to assist costumer troubles and maybe until now. I saw there is one of their representative here and they have scammed accusation.

It can found it here, FREEWallet.org SCAM ( Don't use any of their iOS or Android APP)

They can't blame me in that case if I am one of their users that unsatisfied to their service.

Hi sheenshane, our support is available 24/7 via App Settings and live chat on our website. Checking your older posts, we still didn't receive more info on the tokens you mentioned. If you would like to get assistance, let me know at lauren@freewallet.org.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Erc 223, 721 support in Ethereum Wallets on: May 09, 2019, 08:08:28 AM
Does anyone know if;

1. WallETH

and

2. Ethereum Wallet by freewallet

Supports :

A) Erc 223

B) Erc 721

or both? I can't find relevant information and I am not sure if Marcus (Waleth dev) has an account on this forum.

This is actually my first time hearing a walleth wallet so u don't really know if they support erc 223 and 771 tokens in their wallet, though I know free wallet and I have used them for a while, but I am still yet to know if they support erc 223 and 771 token in their wallet, but one way to know wallets that supports it is to check at Google to see the list of wallets that said they support this tokens in them.

Hi!

We confirm that we support only ERC20 tokens that are mentioned in our solutions page here: https://support.freewallet.org/support/solutions/articles/9000134815-supported-erc20-tokens
If you have any doubts whether we support an ETH token, please reach out to our support team via App Settings or live chat on the website.

Cheers!
199  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Freewallet delaying refunding me for a failed exchange on: April 26, 2019, 04:23:54 PM
I've tried to be patient, but it's been over a week and they refuse to give me a timetable for any return of funds and they have ignored my latest email. I tried to exchange 1.89 btc for BAT tokens. The transaction hung for hours and I guessed they probably didn't have any access to the tokens so I emailed them that they could just refund my BTC, figuring the exchange could easily be cancelled and my BTC returned.

They emailed me that it had to be done manually and this could take days. Well, it's been days and no action that I see has been taken. I told them in subsequent emails I would be happy either with return of BTC or the BAT tokens I ordered.

Edit: They are currently working on return of coins which apparently were sent to a different eth wallet. While I wish they had been more proactive without constant pushing, the worst I can say at this point is service can be slow when a mistake is made, but this might be industry standard. I will update with how long the entire process takes.

Hello, we are happy to inform you that your case has been successfully resolved. Thank you for your patience and have a great weekend!
200  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Freewallet delaying refunding me for a failed exchange on: April 23, 2019, 03:40:09 PM
Yes, the freewallet member on here got the ball rolling and I hope to have this situation resolved in the near future. Thank you again.

Hello! We'd like to once again emphasize that as we are talking about the transaction sent to a wrong address, this case may require some time to be resolved. We are doing our best to solve it for you as soon as possible. Thank you.
