Bumping this thread so that people can know how to accelerate their own transaction and not seek people's so called "services" and provide a 'tip' for that. A lot of unconfirmed transactions are out there lately..
1803  Economy / Speculation / Re: Almost all coins experienced gains in prices today, where is the market heading? on: December 11, 2017, 03:10:43 PM
The CBOE listing is going to take place in a few hours.  The volatility of bitcoin and a lot of alts are going to be pretty high. This is going to be a different experience, for one the futures contracts are going to be settled in cash which in turn wouldn't increase or decrease the demand for crypto currencies directly. If the launch goes well, the likelihood of SEC's approval for bitcoin EMF will increase. But one sad thing is that institutional traders would try to manipulate the markets.
The above facts I referred from somewhere else and so decided to share it here. I'd be amazed if these futures help the community in a good way.

earn the  comfortable money to run your family.
You've got to be fucking kidding.  If you rely on sig campaign money to support a family, you're a lazy 3rd world scunt and are probably going to get booted for sheer ignorance of language skills/copypasting/some other shenanigans sooner rather than later.     Those of us who can and want to communicate properly.   This is a sad, sad post right here.  You idiots should not be procreating--stick to porn and leave live, breathing females alone.
Lol.. Obviously ,a lot of people see signature campaigns as a means of income, for being able to help their family by doing nothing but shitposting. Just make some useless 25-35 posts, and you're good to go.
And if bitcointalk has come to this, we're in deep shit.
It already has come to such a position, from the moment people started to realize bitcoin is rising like hell, they started abusing all the possible campaigns with their original and their legion of alt accounts. Bounties are easy to cheat and most of the shitposters go over there and the managers don't have that much of the strict measures like the ones in the bitcoin campaigns. Sad to say but such is the state of bitcointalk now.

Just one quick question, what's the connection to AngelFalls?  Your first link http://archive.is/71FX1 (although correctly linking to the other three) is for an Alt called ZeusIsBack who you don't mention in your post.
I have done some edits hope it makes the issue more clear. Sorry but that all I know of here. Lauda knows better about this than I do.

1808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SBTC]Super Bitcoin:Bitcoin Fork|Smart Contracts|8MB Blocks|Privacy|Scalabi on: December 10, 2017, 12:11:15 AM
Forks are simply the next in a long line of money makers:
First, people felt they missed out on Bitcoin because they joined late, so they created their own altcoins (now called shitcoins). They were usually premined, so the creator earns 1 to 90% of all future value.
Second, they came up with random ICOs that promise a lot and produce nothing. Thanks to code is law master-of-forks Ethereum they now don't even need to create a coin, they just make up a token. After hyping it, they sell it. That means ICOs have 100% premine! Most ICO websites look a lot alike, I wouldn't be surprised if many are created by the same small group of people.
Third, now that most people know most ICOs are just scams, and authorities are cracking down on them, the next thing is forking Bitcoin. After many years of fighting about scaling, the community is divided. There's the very rich, who want very expensive blocks, and there's people who can't get their transactions confirmed. It started with Bitcoin Cash, created to FUD Bitcoin and give some very rich guys an opportunity to pump&dump.

Then Bitcoin Gold, which was only created to give the creators a 200,000 coin premine.

There's now talks about Bitcoin Silver, Bitcoin Platinum, and this Super Bitcoin is just one of many more in a long line. The 210,000 coin premine is of course a great way to become very rich out of nothing. The Bitcoin Gold premine is now worth about $50 million, even if Super Bitcoin just gets 10% of the value of Bitcoin Gold, it's enough to be set for life! Or to start preparing the next fork already.
If only people have the right sense to understand these things. Also to add up to the points stated by you, these shitcoins do not contribute at all towards the betterment of the community. Also add bitcoin diamond too on your list.
@lorylore,if you have the balls to advertise this shitcoin, have the balls to answer a few simple questions. Here:-
You people can't even frame your own catchphrase..  Shocked Make America Great Again ...->Make bitcoin great again
Well America has definitely not become great, if not, its getting worse, sorry peeps. Now talking 'bout bitcoin, I'm sure there are so many people who think that this fork is totally unnecessary, and is of no use, it's anyhow going to be a copy paste of bitcoin with minor changes. I have one question, give me a legit, valid reason and tell me what led to this emergence of this fork and how is it going to help the community?
* I did read the OP, and telling that some enthusiasts becoming a group and "developing bitcoin's technology",like seriously?  Roll Eyes And bitcoin combating against the likes of Zcash and ethereum, again seriously? This is not a perfect competition/monopoly market that you're dealing with, this is rather a monopolistic market.

This is where the project shines. A lot of people have a fixed mind frame that bitcoin is only going to be as good as what it is now.  The team would like to make bitcoin great again, to resolve the current issues bitcoin are facing and to make it as a leader in most aspect.
List some of the issues down, let's see what you really got..
However, every project is evolving to become better.
Why such competition, bitcoin has been leading since forever, and it'll continue to do so. I'm still not finding a legit reason for the emergence of this fork.

Continue ignoring the questions I ask, bitcoin gold and bitcoin cash also were introduced to make the "technology of bitcoin better".All I can say is they sure as hell did. Don't see this going anywhere..

1812  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin futures on: December 08, 2017, 04:10:43 PM
Hi!
I'm a bit confused by all the talk about how bitcoin futures will affect bitcoin price.

As far as I understand, a futures contract is a binding agreement between 2 parties where mr A will buy an asset from mr B at a beforehand specified price and time.

The asset can be any commodity like oil etc, and are used both by producers as hedge and by speculators.

It is often possible to settle the agreement directly in cash, without buying/selling the actual underlying asset. I suspect most speculators prefer this option.

So, how will bitcoin futures work?
Will they require buying/selling bitcoin itself or will they just be settled in fiat cash?

I suspect these futures will primarily be used by speculators who probably will prefer to just settle them in cash.

So why would such a contract affect the bitcoin price at all?

I'm new so thanks for taking your time and explaing this to me Smiley
There are a lot of people who are against bitcoin, misunderstanding it to be a bubble and bull shit. How this will affect is that there'll be corruption if there is no intervention by SEC. The bulls of stock market will play with the prices like hell, trust me. To some extent there'll be a panic and bull shitting about the bubble asset- bitcoin. I feel this bitcoin future thing is just not the right thing for bitcoin.
1813  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 220k unconfirmed transactions on: December 08, 2017, 03:54:11 PM
Hey everyone,

It's crazy how many transactions are stuck at the moment
My transactions from 2 days ago with a fee of $5 still haven't confirmed it's pretty messed up, isn't bitcoin known for the almost instant transactions? right now the network is as slow as a snail.  Undecided

https://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions

I hope the bitcoin hype will settle down soon so our normal bitcoin users can continue their business, right now it's very expensive to send transactions.

Have any of you guys have stuck transactions aswell or paid insane amounts fee? let me know i'm interested.

~yaking
The heck.. Yesterday or day before it was like what, 40000 transactions. Whoa this is getting screwed up by the day.
Quote
I just saw some transactions worth $250 with a fee of almost $40!!
Should I consider myself lucky that I paid less for a transaction worth like 500-600$, or should I regret that I paid a huge tx fee.  Huh But yeah mine is stuck too..
1814  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoins are dying !!! on: December 08, 2017, 03:48:02 PM

Ikr, I feel the pain man. Even Im in quite a big loss, damn I should used stop loss in the first place. This sucks. So much of bitcoin pumping has belittled altcoins as hell as If they already weren't that little.  Cry
1815  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Transfer My Entire Savings to Cryptocurrencies? on: December 08, 2017, 03:17:47 PM
I am at a point in my my young life where I need to make a decision about my finances. I have a good amount of money saved up in my Robinhood account, and I have been putting it in the stock exchange, making a steady but positive return. Keyword here is positive. I am very conflicted right now because I think I can earn more money trading cryptocurrencies, but the risks are so much greater.

I have a couple good alt-coins in mind that I would like to buy, but don't have the capital because it's all tied up in stocks. Also, is there even a reputable enough exchange that I can put ~$50,000 in and not worry about it getting hacked or stolen? I mean, with stocks, if in the off chance that my account gets hacked, they still need verification before money can be sent, and my money is ensured by the government. With cryptocurrencies, once it's sent, I have zero chance of getting it back.

What should I do. Should I move all my money from stocks to cryptocurrencies? And if I do, which exchanges are reputable enough? I currently use Binance and have only $1000 in there.
There is no exchange which can never be hacked, number one. So try keeping your majority in a cold storage. Do trades, and when you sell it, either buy back something else or transfer it back to your cold storage. Verify your account no matter what, for you're depositing quite a lot of money. Definitely do not invest your entire 50,000$ in crypto, it's too risky to lose but at the same time you can gain impressively. It depends on circumstances that you cannot predict exactly. I say you put 25,000$ in trading. Diversify the trades. Choose the exchange which would helpful for your interests.
1816  Economy / Speculation / Re: Korea bans Bitcoin derivatives~ OUCH! on: December 08, 2017, 02:05:57 PM
I am not sure how much of a serious damage if any this does to Bitcoin's growth in terms of market capital.

https://www.coindesk.com/report-bitcoin-derivatives-banned-south-korean-government/
Holy moly!! Is this for real? Korea plays an important role in the crypto -investments Undecided
China started this,it was followed by Russia and now South Korea...Why? Just why. I knew something bad will happen due to this CME and CBOE group's bitcoin listings. Screw you CME! Is this going to be an indicator for the prices to crash anytime soon?
1817  Economy / Speculation / Re: will we see bitcoin price 20k by jaunary 1st 2018 on: December 08, 2017, 01:19:25 PM
will we see bitcoin price continue going up or will it crash?
If the current support continues to exist and not vanish away, then the price will go up easily to or more than 20,000$. Bastards do not care on how much they are willing to spend, no control whatsoever. What I think now when it comes to unstable, bitcoin comes to my now, relationships are way stable than that which is a wonder.
1818  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you think upcoming bitcoin futures can affect the market?? on: December 08, 2017, 12:23:33 PM
I fully agree with you. So you suggest that after bitcoin futures launch - bitcoin will blow? To be honest, I think it's too early for bitcoin to deal with stock market and I'm concerned that big bitcoin blow after futures start could really hit the system.
Bitcoin may not blow immediately, there's a huge support for it right now. It may not go down for several months too, for I have seen that if stock market people want to invest something, they invest big and the time they take it usually for like 3-6 months, and when they come to know that normal public is very keen on buying bitcoin, they will dump it so so badly that people lose confidence not only on their investment, they become disappointed and some even commit suicide. Depressions are very much common now a days, only SEC can do something and set some sort of limit for example. God knows.
1819  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you think upcoming bitcoin futures can affect the market?? on: December 08, 2017, 11:35:19 AM
The end of the year marked the arrival of bitcoin futures contracts. Since CME Group and the CBOE announced their bitcoin futures contracts launch - the world awaits for the new wave of Bitcoin adoption.

Well the repercussions are clearly shown in terms of the price of bitcoin. Too much hype, which is causing literally everyone to call bitcoin to be a bubble, just like the real estate bubble back in the day. Stupid people want to pump the price so badly, gain the attention and boom ruin the whole thing after some time. Don't want stock market people to come play with bitcoin now, seriously. The crypto world is much better without the likes of them. But fucking no one can do anything 'bout it.  Cry Sad

How long has it been since you have contacted the support? A week or more than that? Maybe you didn't verify your details properly on the exchange ? If yes, then only support team can help you with that, nothing else. Good luck to ya if they really respond quickly, if not, also good luck. May you withdraw your SRT from poloniex without any casualties and with peace as soon as possible.
