1801  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no competition on: December 08, 2016, 03:09:05 PM
In the crypto-world, I would say boldly by agreeing with the topic that there is actually no competition because Bitcoin has grown so well to get competition from any ALTs and most importantly the value of any ALT is determined by its relationship to BTC and this is another leap ahead. Another way to look at it is how close are they to FIAT? To the best of my knowledge no matter how big the ALT is, you cant covert to FIAT directly without going through BTC. Who can beat that?...
1802  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of bitcoin nowadays? on: December 08, 2016, 02:53:44 PM
I went with others even though quite a number of people voted trading but with this to a novice like me, I dont see it as a sure source to earn some bitcoin but maybe after I have learn well the art of trading, then I can change my mind. Others I chose will fall into the category of selling skills to get some Bitcoin it maybe coding, graphics, website designing or signature designing, campaign management etc. These are surest method with limited risk involved...

1804  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin impacts? on: December 08, 2016, 12:16:42 AM
People in a third world country usually doesn't have their own bank accounts and this blockchain technology (bitcoin to be specific is making things happened) We users don't have to worry much more about setting up the wallets easy and free a lil bet of computer skills is needed.

I will want to disagree with that pending the time I will have more facts or you provide me one regarding Third world countries citizens not having bank accounts. Over here, if there is any sector that has developed over the years is the banking industry. Also with policies put in place and being introduced, a lot of people are coming into the bankers net and I tell you from here, anyone not there will definitely not have access to the computer which negates the impact you are proposing.

For me, the impacts has been about the trans-border payments without any bottleneck and very little cost of transfer to be paid in fees...
1805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Kill The Income Tax on: December 08, 2016, 12:09:07 AM
I will still maintain my position that Bitcoin cannot kill Income Tax so far we still have government and government will still need money to run its affairs which is largely generated through Income Tax what I see happening is government finding a way to either tax that income from Bitcoin and if that is not possible, ban its use all together. What we are still enjoying now is that the population still involved in Bitcoin and the loss of revenue involved, is not enough to call the attention of governments...
1806  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is being told to people in High Schools about Bitcoin on: December 08, 2016, 12:03:03 AM
I will really applaud the teacher of the student not because he is right but because he displayed considerable knowledge of Bitcoin world which I must commend. Although, I have the feelings that he is even more involved than he is letting out and maybe because of the circumstances surrounding the scenerio he has to stick to that position. Over here, even University lecturers know nothing about Bitcoin not to talk of high school teachers as we have in this case so no one talks about it in high school...
1807  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin without Altcoin ? on: December 07, 2016, 11:55:54 PM
I think bitcoin can stand without alltcoin, this would be interesting because bitcoin will always be compared to official currency like USD, Euro, Yen and other.

I will look at it in both ways because ALTS as well have in no small way contributed to the popularity of Bitcoin because some people would have been found their way into Bitcoin as a result of their involvement in one ALT or the other.

Another way to look at it is the way it has also helped in the reduction of pressure on Bitcoin because without that, I am sure the regulation into the Bitcoin world would have come earlier than what we are still seeing now.

On the other hand, majority of this ALTs have failed to provide the necessary competition as expected and this has make their effectiveness not reckoned with...
1808  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Fuck your vaccines on: December 07, 2016, 11:45:42 PM
If not the way things are turning out now, Vaccines have turned out to be effective in combating some life threatening diseases after years of extensive research and this has gone a long way in reducing needless death. Over here probably because of the level of advancement in technology still at the low stage we still rely on vaccine a lot. You see pregnant women vaccinated to protect their unborn babies at the same time after birth vaccinated to protect the baby and this has made WHO declared our country POLIO free in 2014. This is an achievement that cannot be faulted in any way...
1809  Other / Archival / Re: I'm really leaving the U.S. for a 3rd world country because of politics on: December 07, 2016, 11:39:11 PM
Your arguments are valid but I want you to understand before taking that decision so you wont be frustrated afterall in the sense that what you are running away from is even staring at you in the face and there is nothing you can do about it. Oppression by the rich over the poor is the same in all climes of the society and because irrespective of where we find ourselves, people will always be people. So I will suggest you stop fighting to change the system why not try to be yourself and influence the little you can and stop worrying about the rest. By this you have peace with yourself.
1810  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Country getting liquidiated on: December 07, 2016, 11:33:05 PM
The basis for this Thread is what I dont understand but if your grouse is against the rich, then I will have an issue because I have never seen anywhere it is written that it is an offence to be rich so far it is done in a legal manner and its very important to note that when the objective of getting rich has been achieved the next thing you look for will be power...

Every country face one problem or the other but that does not mean it is fuelled by one particular person or group of persons as the case may be. In this scenerio Syria is facing its own challenges but hopefully one day the country will be restored and the refugees can go back home...
1811  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do Bitcoins really circulate into users? on: December 07, 2016, 08:41:41 AM
In my own explanation from basic economics its just on like FIAT if it is printed by the Central Bank in this case Bitcoin is created by the miners. So when this is achieved it is then sent into circulation in the case of FIAT, by paying contractors or paying salaries and the likes. Back to Bitcoin when it is created, then the reward to miners can now be sold to someone then it moves from there to another person who might need it to pay for services like signature campaigns among others then it goes down in Bit to the individual levels...
1812  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: December 07, 2016, 07:50:23 AM
Where did you get idea for this thread? Bitcoin is banks nightmare, there is no way banks will accept bitcoin directly.
I wish stores to start to accept bitcoins as payment, then I will have where to spend bitcoins, banks are for keeping money, I already know how to keep my bitcoins safe.

I thought as much that what is the relationship between the two in short as time goes on we hen the population of Bitcoin is enough to call the attention of those that matters, I am sure banks will start making calls for the ban of Bitcoin in respective countries because they will start losing revenue on transactions that is now going through Bitcoin. Even as at now, will you open current account or savings account or even fixed deposit account to keep Bitcoin?... I definitely doubt that...
1813  Other / Off-topic / Re: How much did you spent in the internet using bitcoin? on: December 07, 2016, 07:29:40 AM
I have not counted,I don't know how much I've spent till now.Now I do not intend to consume bitcoin, if I prefer to buy online cash.My main idea is to keep my BTC funds in the wallet and wait for price increase.

Same thing over here ooo. Since there is no sop accepting Bitcoin here and buying abroad will even be more expensive in addition to shipping cost,so I just earn the little I can into a pool wait for the price to rise then convert it to FIAT which can then be used to meet my needs. That's exactly how I spend my own Bitcoin... Offline...
1814  Economy / Gambling / Re: Hack Into BitDice And Get 1BTC! on: December 06, 2016, 08:51:19 PM
Wow this is so cool and even not straight forward. So, since there is need for confirmation to log-in then I need to not hack the website but to hack the mail. Its that simple. The hackers its up to you to make that happen. For me, I will keep watch on the thread to see who will claim the prize...
1815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency [ICO Live] on: December 06, 2016, 11:17:09 AM
After visiting the site I must say the figures are progressing in a gradual way. But the issue I am concerned about is how Op has been shying away from questions and curiosity raised by members of this forum. like the following

I doubt this is real data, this coin is nothing new, UI design is bad, IMO it may be scam, most coins escrowed on bittrex are scams

And this...

So far no one comes here to post that he invested this amount,I also had second thought ,let's see how it goes ,that data could be just to entice people to invest here, this is a strategy employed by some coins with holds ICO and it's a very effective.

1817  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: December 05, 2016, 08:48:14 PM
No one for sure can say it is because I have used it for illegal activity but its not impossible as I have read somewhere how multinational companies because of the stringent foreign exchange policy in repatriating funds abroad have resulted in the use Bitcoin in achieving that by buying large amount of Bitcoin with the local currency then transfer to their headquater abroad who then convert to its own currency through the exchangers...
1818  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When did you begin using Bitcoin? on: December 05, 2016, 08:36:07 PM
I began active usage in July 2016 although I have seen the symbol but dont know jack about it some years back or maybe I was lazy to look into the subject matter. I later got involved through my renewed quest to make something online then I started with faucets before advancing in rank on the forum to earn something decent on a weekly basis no matter how small...
1819  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do people around you think about Bitcoin ? on: December 05, 2016, 06:11:38 PM
People around me are really difficult to deal with. They see me as someone who is doing something illegal by having an idea about Bitcoin but they want to know about it, yet they dont want to take the risk. So what I do is simply do my thing in my own way and leave them to be curious about what I am doing and making money... Hopefully, they get to be ready to take the step in due time...
1820  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: December 05, 2016, 05:52:25 PM
The best thing I like about Bitcoin is the fact that I can send and receive money without any hassles whatsoever and within minutes to anywhere in the world and not having to fill any details or submit any document to transact couple with the fact that I can easily convert to FIAT and use it to meet my basic needs. That alone is enough advantage to me over any other advantages whatsoever...
