Ah..but which BTC? Craig Wright claims he will 'destroy' BCH ABC with his now BSV coin..will be the 'true' BCH....and then move on and 'exploit' hidden flaws in BTC seg witness

by the end of 2018! Becoming the 'one true coin' with his 'modest' self in control!

(Craig Wright ...the Jim Jones of crypto...ie the 'kool-aid' is poison)

FML...if he is Satoshi we are beyond f**ked Sad

It is still possible to make little profit with this machines.

I am currently mining brixcoin on miningpassion.com and I get around 30 coins with 15gh. 1coin=0.2 - you can do the math urself.
For people who already gave up searching profitable coins, I know that feeling..

Well, I told my buddy ...he has 1 TERRAHASH of x11 miners...at his data hall.....(heh...this should make this thread a lot more 'interesting') Smiley

wow yeah I thought I was the only one with that gift lol.   Grin
You are not only one. If you were only one then price dropped to almost 0 and you had all. There are a lots of people who are holding. Smiley I am also holding but not too much.

well seems now I have 87.45 btc and 100 bch abc and 100 bch sv..plus the other assorted BTC forked coin I've not messed with. Dumped the last of my LTC. Have other coins that are so low not worth moving.

so hell just hodl'ing all ...so I'm not tossing rocks either ....will see how it goes...

everything should pump now with my actions...it always does

brad

I think you will get good profit once it bump.

its all this EATING and putting a roof over your head and clothing and bathing and smelling nice for others...etc etc...eats up my crypto ACK!

but again, if it is a choice of burning all my crypto in the next 1.5 years (retire 1 yr early soc sec and traditional investments) or 2.5 years (hold off with crypto till full 66 years on all)

I will dump the works not to work for anyone again. (would retire early however at 65 as not to kill all crypto if that was the case)

so worse case for me..is I retire 3 years early and still have tulips and beanie baby BTC and altcoins

(I need a better outlook on all this ..that was just dismal)

I think you have done the right thing Searing.

I do have one question though: You have just now cashed out $100K+ right? I know living is expensive in USA, ok........ but.... isn't that enough to cover 2.5 years of living expenses?

13 BTC  was at a bit under 4K BTC about 50.?K after fees etc...with the LTC after taxes..and my health insurance for the year..last year before Medicaid I will take

out as well...I may have 30k left a bit more

with other coins (at less lousy prices)  I've sold as cash in the bank..call it 35k no debts house paid no rent should get me by 'supposedly' till dec 2019 or so.

Also, keeping it in cash...I see a pretty good recession in the USA coming..I figure 40% correction ..it is gonna suck...

so I wish it was 100k with the LTC dump and the 13 BTC dump ...but really with the $7,200, I got for the last of my LTC about $50.?k with fees out.

you do what you have to ...got to eat...etc and stay retired till my full retirement at 66 or 1 year short at 65 years in the USA.

'needs must, when the devil drives'

http://www.worldwidewords.org/qa/qa-nee1.htm

CMC futures the end of this month those will suck in that I expect most thought sideways or up on BTC price and the SEC will likely reject ETF's IMHO,

folk have to sell BTC or altcoins like me to stay crypto retired or to not go back to

work for someone else now that their 3-year say self-employed miner or data hall pow mining is done..as an example..gonna be a lot of that...

I have no intention

of working for anyone again....the continuing war with craig wright and roger ver over 'everything' crypto related eventually...wars will continue...

my modest wish that is that, at worst, 4k becomes the next sideways....sh*t could get a lot worse..thus me panic'ing like a 9-year-old girl and selling

it was time to panic from HODL'ing from 18k to under 4k...(I'm an idiot)
I got this BTC well before 2015 or so......so...I'm not hurting on this by any means...

whatever, next year or most of it is covered now....keep out of debt...sell some stuff in the attic (attic mining) and convert to BTC ..$5k of crap up there Smiley

motivated to get and set aside some dust from selling crap I likely will die with otherwise...

you don't always get what you want, but sometimes you get what you need Smiley

brad

edit: yes I have over 100k of coin cashed out this year..but some went into equipment...a lot was less than 1 year and 1 day so short-term cap gains

so I could fill a solo 401k within 2017 to save on some taxes...some of that was to pay 2018 taxes...lives on probably 40k of that....so yeah...crap

tends to run out $$$ wise....I'm out of mining except for like 5 obelisk machines (previously for 2 months doorstops till the evil fork of siacoin which

saved me..mixed feelings on the fairness of that, however) anyway ...they and other ASIC makers could very well go bankrupt at these crypto prices

which will be more BTC and crypto dumped

but without mining, next year and the above sale of crypto LTC and 13 BTC and me ALSO taking out say 30k out of my traditional investments as cash

to fix up the house or for my own use. (hedging goes both ways I expect a major recession..taking some cream off the crop rather than waiting the

traditional 5-7 years or more for a recession stock recovery...better to use it on the house now for increased house value as a hedge)

So anyway, I'm hedging all over the place, if late, with bailing on BTC.

If I am wrong, I have more $$$ in crypto and traditional investements....no loss, all gain...

If I am right, I have my 'little' ass covered so that I can stay retired...

my coping mechanism is to be proactive on this kinda stuff, recessions suck, working for someone else sucks, if I lose some $$$ and gain some

peace of mind in 2019 because of the above hedges, so be it Smiley

Well, I sold 13 BTC on the low of $3,964.20 or some such....

just enough to live on with my LTC dump next year I also did, and pay the health insurance in advance (in that I'm stalling taking soc security)

and only 63.5 years..this should get me thru end of 2019....w/o working for anybody ever again!!!

this means BTC will pump massively now (you are welcome)

so is it moon yet?

brad
Pity you sell/had to sell @these prices
But if it was the thing needed to do Then NP with that and GL man

yep....likely all this is moot...with CMC futures at the end of the month and likely ETF denial in a few weeks and folk like me that had a crypto biz and now can only use the coin to stay retired at these

prices...taxes due and Xmas etc...hell....4k could be the next average for the next 6 months..hell April 2019 4k after the mt. gox dump may be considered cool beans then

but not working for anybody yet..not with 1 year to go till 65 and at worst with a recession I suspect....taking soc sec early in 2020.

crypto HODL is nice ....not working for idiots is much better Smiley

So if you have BTC this means that you have BCH SV or was that just a fork of BCH on

yeah, not paying attention ..only BCH I have 'supposedly' I have not touched from the BTC Hoard wallet from when it landed...

brad

If you haven't split your coins from the original BCH fork from BTC, you now have coins in both the ABC and SV fork. Since neither side has implemented replay protection, it may be a challenge to split the coins. Since you are a miner, you can probably mine coinbase coins from both sides and then use these as 'tainted" coins to do the split. The process looks really complicated now, especially since you haven't done the original split. In any event, if you want to claim coins at any point, you are probably going to have to import your private keys/seed phrase for your BTC to Electron Cash.(That would probably be the easiest software, AFAIK) I would move your BTC to a new private key/seed as a first step.

As big a mess as all this is on Jan 1st, 2020 we could find out that Craig Wright really is the last man standing from the Satoshi group...and has access to what

he says is the so-called BTC trust at that point...god knows things are weird enough anyway on all this

so I'll probably just leave it all alone all the forked coins on my 2015 HODL wallet

(by the by I dumped 13 BTC like a small panic'd girl to pay for health insurance for 2019 and with my LTC dump have $$$ to stay retired till 2020 when I'm

65 years and could take soc sec 1 yr early and then could get Medicaid (no more 12k a year payments for health insurance)

so yeah, don't want to work for anyone for the next year so PUNTED..and 13 number of BTC being evil and all seems appropriate) Sad

hopefully, I'm wrong and this BCH war will pan out and BTC will recover..but not counting on it to keep retired this last year don't ya know Smiley

thanks for the update

brad

I am not jealous of your predicament.  Myself, I considered the changes and the way they have been forced and I was able to make up my mind very easily.  I refuse to be a party to fraud and further I know that the function many think this dsv will deliver is more durable if implemented in better ways more in line with the needs of the merchants who we hope would use this coin.  ABC and BTC have no future as they have refused all recommendations by their peers, miners and experts.  The only thing they have as a technical argument is Always Bad Craigman.

well seems now I have 87.45 BTC and 100 bch abc and 100 bch sv..plus the other assorted BTC forked coin I've not messed with. Dumped the last of my LTC. Have other coins that are so low, not worth moving.

and if we are in a full recession in 2019 and 2020 as I suspect I can just take soc sec early and my traditional investments and hopefully still be in some kinda HODL mode

everything should pump now with my actions...it always does...so there is that

TERA said something about "huge high volume drops":

The poor bugger seems to be right each time but is roundly abused for it until he disappears again. Still an annoying poster.

I’ll apologise to him/her when he/she returns. I was a bit rude, mocking his/her predictions which turned out to be close to what transpired.

Fine, sign here:

Wow, that’s hilarious! That was around when I was on vacation, so surely I won’t need to sign lol  Grin

OK...sign me up...I did not call names...but thought a few...

Humble pie ...sucks...I just sold 13 BTC for around (if I remember) after fees $50,300 or some such....with 7,200 LTC dump also for about (after fees) $57,500 USD.

ack! eating crow ack! Tastes like 'rotten' chicken! ack! pew! grrrrrrr...

On the other hand for those of you that said I sold too low, you are CORRECT...on the other hand for those of you that are still working....well...me thru 2019

THE RETIREMENT CONTINUES so there.... (always must remember crypto is always 2nd for me having NOT to work for anybody ever again...repeat as a mantra)

guess it is time at these prices to get to the "attic mining" of the stuff I can sell on eBay up there I will die with otherwise .sell crap, buy BTC....there has to be a BTC or two up there at these prices

Anyway, the good news is I always sell at the low, so let the BTC pump begin! You can thank me with merit when it pumps to 8k this week Smiley

Is BCHSV starting to raise in price too much?

How is it too much when they were losing it for more than 50% ? Just wait until another pump or dump happened again with this coin, not surprising though to see it gets pumped again for more than 100% in a couple days/weeks/months/years later.
Just hope, this bullshit drama come to an end.

the craig wright group could be playing this and selling BTC high and buying low...would that not be a kick in the nuts if it was that kinda play

Everyone tries to buy on low rate and sell on high rate. It's trade also and behind bump and dump plays vital role by gambler.

Sorry I was unclear...I meant that he was not doing this with BTC SV or BTC ABC ....but selling BTC high to buy back BTC low...and all this BTC SV was just a cover with the price dump a cover

sure..I'm just making things up...but hell...that would be quite the 'con' indeed if he pulled something like that off

only a 1 in 100 chance of that .just tossing it out their for the 'wince' factor

I pan'cd dumped 13 BTC and the last of my LTC so I can pay my health insurance this last year of 2019 (64 years) and eat and not

work for anyone that last year..if as I suspect we may be looking at 3k or below coin

hope I'm wrong..but hopefully, this is a sign of a pump in that I'm always incorrect Sad

anyway,

'the needs must, when the devil drives' ( a 17th century saying)

A LOT of folks are going to be dumping BTC and coin of many flavors to either stay crypto retired or if in a crypto self-employed biz these

last years..not to work for anyone again/ and or pay off the data hall building or other hedges from their crypto biz

CME futures the end of this month, folks set aside for taxes and Xmas...likely SEC 'hell no" to ETF decision on a few weeks...all does not bode well

so again, hopefully I'm wrong..but a guy has to eat don't ya know

you can thank me with merit for the pump in BTC when it happens (again I'm always wrong ) Smiley

so as sad as my loss of 13 BTC maybe..it is much better for working for someone again Smiley

Check the hash rates now, looks like abc gave up.

Even with all the facts presented the trolls will still be trolling  Smiley

Yes, you still will be.

Fact: SV down in price $20 (25%) since yesterday.
Fact: BCH is already ABC.
Fact: The war is already over.
Fact: That's why they "gave up."

You must be new to how this works which is suprising considering how long you have been on here for. Let me break it down for you, the hash war doesn't end until ABC is bankrupt, you can hate CSW all you want but he can and will run ABC to the ground. He is dumping his BTC to fund this operation so hodl that core all you want, it wont be worth much in the near future Smiley. Bitcoin is SV

Better sell before your left holding worthless bags of imaginary money

what fun is that?

no matter how bad...... still can swing it for the next 30 months...if it goes tulips I have a side 401k I can pull on

of course, the walk of shame of believing in tulips at that point in time will be hard...people pointing and mocking me on the street

I imagine the 'hat' we all be wearing will be a big F for failure in our avatar spot

again...if BTC fails the bankers will win and have centralized controllable blockchain with the same bank fees but in their control at little or no cost

can you say 'trillionaires' in the next 10 years if that happens

I've been seeing quite a few people calling for triple digits. Just like the last bear market, when half of people were calling for double digits.
Meet the new bears. Same as the old bears.

I have been waiting for two years to retest $1166.  Even I don't think we will get there.

well my view is asic mining if only the altcoins is dead...if 2 groups can simply toss $$$ around at a loss for power games with bch and btc and tank all the altcoins

hard do see how mining is gonna work out with all those coin and not a lot of adoption or volume...the point eventually could be made for btc mining as well..but not yet

what a sh*tstorm

brad

the current conundrum does bring problems in POW coins (short term), but POS or premine stuff tanks just as well or more.

true...but the hardware games can be taken out of the politics with masternodes..gamed still but no longer as concentrated with say Bitmain in control of many algo's etc

but then again folk used to tell me to get into silver and gold ..never did..just trading and hodl'ing was not my thing then...so without adoption and mining and just store of value

we could be in a fix where BTC has enough use to be 3k to gold's 1.5k and just go sideways in price for years as well in that form...boring

again I did not sell any at the high so obviously, I have no idea wtf I'm talking about ...just to be clear to any impressionable minds who did not drink as much kool-aid as myself back in 2013

According to this, one can go long at between now and whatever low next 24-48 hr would bring and expect a short term bounce to 6500-7000.

It is very hard to quickly turn around an aircraft carrier sailing at 30 knots.  Not impossible but very hard.

Yeah, I'm not really seeing any bounce happening for a while, the order book on the sell side was very thin a couple hours ago and nothing no bounce. Seems no one has any money or incentive to buy at this price.

people are selling to set aside for the tax man, and for xmas, and they DON'T like me want to work for anyone anymore after having a good run as a crypto business data hall or mining or whatever...thus

will have to burn coin as a hedge or work for someone else again....some of what is going on is that...paying off that data hall building as a hedge...setting a plan for $$$ for staying retired 3 years early

stuff like that is really also mucking this up..also FUD , the BCH wars where you toss $$$ around at a loss on BTC for ego, and of course the usual FUD that will be epic...

don't the forget the SEC is likely to tell all of us crypto types to go fish on an ETF from this mess...and mt gox  is still going to dump all that BTC in Feb/March of 2019

yeah...interesting times indeed
