over clocked mining since 2013.. the burns i experienced: - sata molex adaptor for pcie riser, burned due to low quality of adaptor - socket of modular cable of PSU, burned due to 2-3 pcie risers connected...now i try to use 1 cable per riser as possible, although 2 riser per cable is still quite safe. - a wall outlet socket burned due to over loading. my electrical lines are standard and with room for extra amps... i know better now...last January i go out for a week, left home with the mining rigs running..i got home all are fine, except for a rig with HDD failure  |

Hi, have the same gpu's get 50% of that list. how u do that? Linux?, windows? bios update? driver? overclocking? Testing windows 7/ windows 10/ amd driver 5.12 windows 7 64bit, stock bios, over clocked, driver 16.10.3 watch the power consumption & temps, nice to see high clocks but do take note & don't blow anything up !  Amen to that agreed seeing ammount of power this is using and also temps on cards going to fire mode makes me wonder if this even worth mining with the power and temps getting to. i mined scrypt algo years ago...i'm fine. thanks for the concern This algo doesn't use as much power as scrypt. Scrypt was horrible. I remember AT THE WALL every 7970 was using 350 Watts, I think this uses around 200 Watts AT THE WALL with 7970. yup, that's why i used 3x 280x for a 1250w PSU back then, right now it is 4x 280x for a 1250w PSU. |

its raining newb accounts asking for pascal accounts...but nobody is asking for pascal coins, you cannot create pascal accounts out of thin air like in all crypto coins...maybe pascal accounts can be treated as currency or asset.. what do you guys think? if poloniex will enable pascal accounts trading ... welcome to another fiasco How will they be able to trade such an asset? Any miners available for NViDIA CARDS ?
bugged...as far as i know AMD one is also unstable, makes my rigs reboot by itself lol Have no issued with ZEC or ETH miners, but pascal ver 2 makes my all of my rigs reboot randomly, sometimes after 5 mins, sometime after 10 seconds, sometimes after a few hours. I guess I<ll go back on zec until its more stable and profitable lol it is dangers to mine PASC with AMD card ,the power consumption is extremely increased when mining PASC,this may cause permanent damage to GPU,or burn PSU there is no danger if you know your hardware enough...and know what to use, what to do etc... PASC is not the most power hungry to mine. |
