Here's the salary of the Wizards roster.

https://www.spotrac.com/nba/washington-wizards/cap/

Porzingis is next to Beal with $33 million by next season, and I don't think the Wizards will try to trade him but I'm sure there's still some place to add role players that will make the roster of the Wizards deep.

We have a great match-up today, it's TNT vs SMB, the odds are very close, TNT is only -1.5 but I think it's hard to guess who will win here.
My pick is TNT because of Mikey Williams, as long as there's no stopper from the SMB team, I believe that 30 points is just too easy for him.
I got the opposite side here, Fajardo is back, he is now a monster in the paint so that alone is already a big advantage for the SMB. Kelly Williams is manning Fajardo, he is too small and a bit old already so he might only get tired as the game progresss. Maybe TNT will win the first half but SMB will come back strong in the 2nd half.
1943  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are we gradually approaching towards the end of Bitcoin? on: July 06, 2022, 09:59:32 PM
The precarious cryptocurrency market has been made worse by cryptocurrency lender Celsius' June declaration that it is banning withdrawals owing to "extreme market conditions." Following the market meltdown, crypto hedge fund Three Arrows Capital might possibly be insolvent. Three Arrows Capital has entered liquidation, worsening the crisis gripping the whole world's market for digital assets. Three Arrows was is also considering alternatives including the sale of assets or a firm's rescue.

With the continuous downslide of the Bitcoin and the crypto market at large, is it too soon to say that we might likely be witnessing the end of it all?
What is the significance with this cryptocurrency lender to bitcoin? I guess the only reason why bitcoin is heading to a more price decline is that we are currently facing a bearish market, and until the market stays like this, we can never witness for bitcoin and other crypto prices surging. Not that crypto is heading to its end, but it could also mean there will be a great start for bitcoin and the whole market after all of these price declines.
1944  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How quick does the market grow during bull market? on: July 06, 2022, 09:37:40 PM
Hi ,

First started crypto in February this year so am new to all of this and the current bear market we are going through.

I have so far invested £4,500 and my portfolio is down 45%. I have not sold any of my positions and have kept buying at these low prices with the intention of holding until the bull market comes and I can cash out some nice profits.

I have been dollar cost averaging the last 5-6 weeks since we had our first real crash in May which means I now have pretty good average buys for all my holdings so hopefully when the bull market does come again it will take no time at all for me to be in profit.

I understand none of us know exactly when the next bull market will be here but I am just wondering if anyone could give me their experience with what it was like during previous bull markets and how fast we can expect our investments to grow again?

The last bull market was not really much profitable for me because i never sell a lot. But for others, i'm sure they made a lot of profits that time. And if you expect that investments will quickly grow, no, you will only see their growth and progress gradually if you consider them for long term investments, which means you need to buy at its cheap price and hold them for long like a year or two. That way, you will make tons of profits if you sell them when there is bull run.

Cryptocurrency is now in a big crashing. And whole crypto marketcap now under $1Trillion. What will the next? and How long do you think it will take for the market to recover?
Of course the market will experience more crypto prices decline since this bear market will still be here for quite couple of months, or maybe a year who knows. And if history allows, what happened in the past will also be a thing in the present. After all this bloody market scenario, eventually we will witness prices skyrocketing when the market turns green and bullish. So just keep on buying these days and do it through DCA.
1946  Economy / Economics / Re: Unemplyment at least 50% how world will look like then ? on: July 06, 2022, 08:38:15 PM
Unemployment at least 50% in usa at least so how THE wprld world will look like ?
Definately all prices will 80-90%down
I have been unemployed for a couple of years, but I am even doing much better financially than when I was employed, to an extent that I don't think I will ever apply for any form of formal employment.

Does that mean I am fucked? Nope.

Just wondering, where do you get that data that Unemployment is at around 50% in the US?
Being formally employed is not the only means to generate an income these days, we have a lot of online jobs that offer greater compensation than we usually get from our stable 8-hour day job. I guess that maybe the reason why the case of unemployment has risen today, but i also didn't get the idea why it took 80-90% prices down.
1947  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Hodlers are actively buying bitcoin these days on: July 05, 2022, 09:46:13 PM
the blockchain analysis shows that a lot of bitcoin hodlers are actively buying bitcoin and increasing their wealth by taking advantage of the current discount offered to them by the weak hands and their panic sells.
as we can see here the number of addresses that are holding more than 1 bitcoin is significantly increasing which shows how people who were struggling to reach 1BTC target are succeeding these days and are even surpassing that target heading to the next one.

source of the pic is reddit
This is not surprising as the bag holders of bitcoin will always maximize their purchase when they start seeing good opportunities to buy. The thing that weak hands fail to realize because instead of taking advantage of the current market scenario and maximize buying bitcoin, they resort into panicking and sell everything they have. So they all sell for a loss, something that strong hands in the market will never do.
1948  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be safe from Hackers on: July 05, 2022, 09:23:42 PM
Even if some official social media account of any of the institution promote cryptocurrencies, giveaways or NFT, don't fall for it. By the time make a clear analysis and go further. Yesterday the British Army's Social media accounts were hacked and more scams were promoted. It is always good to stay safe as hackers are always in search of possible ways to scam common people.

British Army’s social media accounts hacked by crypto scammers
Hackers have become smarter these days that even those high rank individuals of an institution get to be lured and scammed not because they are not wise enough, its just that hackers are also using fast technology that could take advantage even the most brilliant and smartest individual or even the most solid institution. To be safe from hackers, never click any strange website because it could be the key to disclose all the information you have. And always be responsible for the safety of all accounts, such that passwords and seed phrases should never be shared to anyone.
1949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for a crypto that won't depend on BTC anymore on: July 05, 2022, 08:53:02 PM
The majority of investors and traders are increasingly understanding crypto fundamentals before investing, is there any crypto that moves itself according to its fundamentals both now and in the future?
Bitcoin dominates the whole crypto market so whatever its price condition, it also affects and influence the whole coins in the crypto market. If you are looking for a coin that won't rely to bitcoin, it will certainly be a tough one because even meme coins and shitcoins are also affected with bitcoin. I guess what you are looking is out of the context, and its simply not existing.
1950  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: advice for who are witnessing this market for the first time. on: July 04, 2022, 09:38:19 PM
Any advice from those who have been in crypto for a long time for those who are seeing this market for the first time?
Always know that the crypto market do not stay up always, it will also stay low and create price decline. But the good thing about is, whatever the condition of the market, it has always its own opportunities to earn and become profitable so always act rightly.

In times when the market is very bearish and you witness all the coins are in low prices, don't over react. That's part of the bearish market. The only challenge you have to overcome is to survive in this market condition and it will only be possible if you chose to stay calm and patient, and just keep on buying even when the market gets deeper.
1951  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is -not- "still in its infancy" on: July 04, 2022, 08:44:25 PM
In general, Bitcoin is really not on infancy stage since it was running for more than 12 years and counting. Many people that saying that obvious shill post is maybe just new or have a heavy bags of Bitcoin that bought at top. I don’t understand too why the word “it’s too early” is always brought up when they are trying to encourage others to buy and why not brought up the good features of Bitcoin instead so that all new holders will not gonna look only on price but rather on its technology.
If we consider the span of growth and development of bitcoin, it has already matured. Bitcoin would never survived over a decade and pass through a lot of attacks if its still in its infancy stage. Those people who always consider and recognize bitcoin as in its early stage and has not proven its worth yet, then probably they are the ones who are new here in crypto but would act as if they knew all about bitcoin. The thing which is most frustrating is that all their claims turn out into fake news, like they are the one who'll not gonna survived in this long journey of bitcoin.
1952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Profitable are Gambling Bots? on: July 02, 2022, 02:23:33 PM
I think the question should be "is gambling bot profitable?". My answer is no because betting strategy that uses a system does not make us a winner, instead, it will only make our betting activities faster, and if we are unlucky, that means it will easily consume our bankroll.

Profitability is base on your skills, and of course, you have to choose a game, a game that can be win based on skills not on luck alone.
1953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Kazuto Ioka vs Donnie Nietes II on: July 02, 2022, 01:54:44 PM
Another vote for Donnie Nietes. He is not anymore a young guy but I'm sure he still has the power to defeat his opponent.

At the age of 40 years old, he has a record of 43 wins with only 1 defeat, so I believe that's a decent record and he can win.
https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/215599

Good luck, I hope Nietes will be listed as an underdog.
1954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inherited gambling on: July 02, 2022, 12:36:04 PM
I don't believe in that, I think it's more on an influence by the people that surround us than on the gens. My family is a fan of gambling especially cock fighting but I don't love that kind of gambling, instead, I'm more on sports betting and I'm enjoying it while they have never tried it yet.

Emotions is the number 1 problem when it comes to gambling, if we are easily addicted and we are weak emotionally, that's where the problem will start.
1955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 02, 2022, 11:28:07 AM

Just in as news: Looney stays with the Warriors on a 3-year contract for a $25.5M deal.

That's already a good deal, he is not a superstar but he showed hard work during the playoffs that made the team the NBA champion. I like the management decision of making him stay he really deserves to be in the Warriors because he has a heart of a champion.

By the way, are there any news about the Warriors adding some big man in their roster through trade?

Honestly, it's already a good team for Looney, to stay with the Warriors for 3 years. I guess if the Warriors can win even 1 out of those 3 years that he is in, it's already a good return. And it's not about the money for a player like Looney, it's about the chemistry and the camaraderie as he was part of the team in their last championship run.

That's correct, it's also about winning a championship and Looney will never forget in his life that he was able to play with one of the greatest players in the NBA which is Stephen Curry. He is not not a type of a dominant big man but he always play hard and follow his role, he is such a professional player who always value teamwork over personal interest.

Yeah, Looney is just calm when he plays that's why he will not receive a technical foul, but at the same time, he is also very competitive, if we still remember, he had some big games during the playoffs because of his aggressive play, he slowly transform from just a rebounder into an offensive player as well.
1956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 02, 2022, 10:52:20 AM

And we have Williams who produced 31 points, the best player.

Proving that the money that is being paid for him is the worth of his game. This man is unstoppable and his demand deserves to be credited. I see more winning games for TNT especially when coach Chot allows Williams to take charge, something that reminds me on how Alapag allows Castro to lead even he and De Ocampo are still playing they let Castro bring his game to the hype and lead the team in terms of offensive attacks.

The same way how he allows Williams to create his own play, we see isolations and letting Williams to take the ball in most time.

Honestly, right now, I see him as the best player in the PBA. Fajardo is not anymore on his prime IMO so I think it's already Mikey Williams who is the best player in the PBA and TNT are so lucky having him.
1957  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: July 01, 2022, 01:16:35 PM
More options will be up in the coming days and I'm interested in how much they put on "Magsayo via Knockout" because this fight could end via KO because both love to fight toe to toe.
This is what I'm waiting for, a KO win by Magsayo but I have to guess on what round because that has very attractive odds by just betting on Magsayo to win by KO. I think the odds on him winning by KO is not that much, maybe lower than 3.00 as his chance of winning by KO is higher than by decision.

Don't worry, odds will be available soon, the fight is less than 2 weeks already, so maybe a week before the fight, the full odds will be listed in our favorites bookies. For now, we can only bet on the ML lines, you can get it now but of course you can still add more once the full market is up.
1958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons why people avoid KYC in gambling casino ? on: July 01, 2022, 12:13:51 PM
I think that people avoid KYC in gambling casino just because they want to stay anonymous and doesn't want to let someone know that they gamble. Other reason could figure something like money laundering, or play with money earned with criminal methods. That's why is really important for a casino ask for a KYC, in this way they will protect they self from bad situation.

Or another reason could be laziness/procastination, or they probably don't trust the site. I remember the first time I was asked to KYC by an exchange, it was a trusted exchange and one of the oldest, but out of lack of trust, and a little laziness I didn't upload the requirements and my coins stayed in the exchange for 6 weeks. There's something about KYC that makes me feel nervous, and anxious.

I'm okay with exchanges as they are regulated, but on gambling sites, I think it's not safe to comply with the KYC if they will require it. Actually, it's not hard to find a trusted casinos or gambling sites, but on exchanges, there are only few who are trusted and I believe all of them requires a KYC, so we have no option.
1959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 01, 2022, 11:38:34 AM
We are now in the 2nd game of the night, it's Ginebra vs Converge, and the game very close.

Half time score is 50-45, Ginebra with 5 points lead.
2nd half is going to be Ginebra for sure, maybe we will again see the same scenario like what TNT did in the first game.

Ginebra was only -5.5 or -6.5 in this game IIRC, so that bet has now a good chance to win.
Ginebra is still leading by double digit, they have a big run in the 3rd quarter but slowly Converge have come back. I think they will win and cover the spread because they are controlling this game and we all know that Ginebra is a good 4th quarter team.
1960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 01, 2022, 11:15:16 AM

Nets will surely make this worth the price. Someone big must be offered in exchange for him which I think is the hardest part.

Of course, Durant and Irving are a high-paid players and therefore it's a big value for them.

However, I don't think that the Nets would trade both superstars in one season only, I think maybe one of the two will be traded but the other one will remain to play with Simmons and still make the team a championship contender.

When it comes to the possibility on which player will be traded, I highly believe it will be Irving.
