Golden State Warriors(-225) VS Los Angeles Lakers(+180)

The Struggle is real some fans of the Golden State Warriors including myself are now doubting if they can still come back from a 3 - 1 deficit, this is the harder comeback they will make for sure in their whole career, and if they still lose this game it is goodbye to them well right now even though I am doubting them the Warriors always doing something spectacular and getting back from this kind of deficit, the game will be at Chase Center the home court of the Warriors and right now Patrick Baldwin Jr. can not play for the Warriors while the Lakers still have Mo Bamba, Anthony Davis, and LeBron James doubtful if they can play for the Lakers, but I really doubt the Warriors even though that was the case my pick are still the Golden State Warriors,

This is the best game to bet on the Warriors, as they're very dominant at home. If we believe the Warriors can still make a comeback, starting with a bet on their home court in a do-or-die game is a good strategy. I understand that the spread is too high, so it's wise that you took the moneyline, and I think you did the right thing.

It's going to be an exciting game for sure, and based on the trend so far, the home team usually wins and covers the spread as well. So, even with a high spread, it won't matter if the Warriors win by a blowout, which I hope is the case.
1022  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jason Moloney vs Vincent Astrolabio WBO 118lbs Title (May 13) on: May 09, 2023, 08:22:02 AM
Although I'm not very familiar with these boxers, I believe that they have almost equal skills based on the betting odds. The name Moloney rings a bell for me because he was supposed to fight Donaire, but he backed out and chose another opponent instead.
I think Moloney is afraid of Donaire. He was probably looking for an easier way to become a champion, and maybe he thinks that Astrolabio is not as good as Donaire. I'm also interested in watching this fight, which will be in less than a week. Hopefully, someone here will share a free live streaming link.

It's hard to choose a winner since I'm not very familiar with them, and I won't be placing any bets, but I'm definitely going to watch this fight. Who knows, the winner here might unify with Donaire if he wins.
Just don't risk your money though, you can still enjoy without betting if you aren't sure.
1023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: May 09, 2023, 05:47:49 AM
I did what I said I wasn't going to do.  Laid in on the Knicks and the money line here.  This is pretty much the series for them.  They shot like garbage the entire series so far.  Not gonna lie it looks bleak for them but if they can just get back to playing the way they did during the year they will be fine.

And I'm taking golden state money line to round out every series at 2-2!  Good luck everyone and enjoy the games.

I'm going on the opposite though, Lakers at ML at 1.75 here. I think they know how important this game is, and they are going to play at their home court so they might as well pour everything they got to have a good 3-1 advantage.

Lakers ML is a relatively safe bet, although I would stick at the over/under just to be on the safer side of things. The Warriors can still pop off and put in a performance to even the series score even when on the road. Lakers at home is a force to be reckoned with, but the Warriors on the road is also a team that can do a lot of things to even the tides of battle. I can't really discount either of the teams in this match up, and both of them have good odds as well. I'd say it's a coin toss, but the Lakers has the edge in here.

I'd just go for over 228 points instead.

You won on the Lakers ML, but not on the over. It was a low-scoring affair, and both teams struggled with shooting outside. The Warriors, who are great 3-point shooters, only shot 29% in this game, which is below their average.

Their strategy was to attack more inside with their fast passing, and they had more points in the paint than the Lakers in this game. As a result, the Warriors weren't dominated, but the Lakers were clutch in the 4th quarter, thanks to a secret weapon that beat the Warriors.

The series is now 3-1 in favor of the Lakers. However, it's not over yet, so let's not celebrate early.
1024  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does it take to become a Bitcoin investor on: May 06, 2023, 06:45:40 PM
If you buy/own an amount, any amount, then you can be considered one, though I'd consider "owner" more than "investor" since that makes it sound like Bitcoin is some sort of project that people can invest in, but it's not, it's a currency after all. Even without any knowledge really as long as you own an amount you'd be considered as one. I reckon a lot of people who use fiat don't really understand how it works and yet they still use it and can be considered to own fiat as well.

There's definitely some desire for bragging hence why he coined it like that but eh, whatever, glad for him though.
I guess being an investor is actually not that hard, but if you mean a successful bitcoin investor, that implies knowledge and skills so you won’t end up investing at a loss. And by investing without greed, but patience and persistence until you see your investment slowly working into progress, until it finally paid off. Investing is also an art, that’s why you also have to put your passion on it, but never too emotional.
1025  Economy / Economics / Re: How to increase profit in business on: May 06, 2023, 06:24:16 PM
~snip

I guess it's boils down to good customer service and then promotions and marketing as you have said. Yeah, you need to offer variety of items. For example if you are in the shoe business, then you should have at least full sizes of the shoes that you are selling.

So talk to your customer, get feedback so that you can improved. They are the life line of your business, so obviously, you have to treat them very well. I also have online store that born out of the pandemic, and if I may add about the negatives though, there are competitors out there that wanted your business to be destroy so just be careful on who you deal with as well, just saying. Because as much as you are customer centric and giving rewards and discounts, sooner or later they will give you bad feedback because the people that ordered from your is from your competitor.

Quality and competitive pricing are important in business, but in my opinion, customer service is even more important if you want to increase sales and profits. As a customer, I prefer to go to stores with a good service attitude even though the prices may be higher than in other places.
In business, we should sell what the customer needs rather than what we have. I mean we should have many different models and based on the customer's attitude we should behave appropriately. That's something I take very seriously as a customer.
Truly, having a good customer service is the best asset in a business. Even if your shop is known to be expensive but at least high quality items, people will eventually look for a good customer service where there longings be satisfied and may create a good atmosphere and bond that will convince the customers to keep coming back. And maybe you can add monthly promotions and hot deals that offer a variety of discounts that will make the customers to wander more in your shop.
1026  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to maintain profitability in crypto trading on: May 06, 2023, 05:59:30 PM
To have a good win rate maintain your consistency make a trade when you are fully prepared and ready this is all about the market price so all of your knowledge and learning can be applied with your trade this depends on your profit having a proper execution of your trades makes you more easier to make a green portfolio.

Trade in your expertise don't trade by just depends on other people make your own signals and analyzation for your trades.
Just trade when you’re at your best. Sometimes, we tend to get carried away by greed and resort into instant trading, without knowing that the market could be your worst enemy if you trade without prior knowledge and experience in the market. Trading is a game of chance and luck, but more likely it’s a game of skills and experiences. The reason why we don’t need to rush in trading, only trade when you think you’re already capable to make profits, and not just trading with trial and error.
1027  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you had a time traveling machine, then? on: May 06, 2023, 05:44:58 PM
Well, it's obvious that all of us want to go back during the time that bitcoin is priced in as centavos and, we'd buy for sure a lot of it and will just have to wait until the right time comes to sell and we'd all be millionaires or even billionaires. But, I don't want to dwell in the past anymore and I know that this is just a situation discussion but then we should be moving on and it's hard to get stuck in the past and have all of those regrets get us reminded on where are we during those great times.
Precisely. It’s the time when bitcoin was still very cheap and everyone can afford to buy. If I have known and believed in bitcoin earlier, probably I could have made the maximum purchase of bitcoin store in my portfolio and might have gained massive profits way back 2017 when it’s price had surged to its highest peak. But in reality, there’s no time machine wherein you can correct your mistakes. What’s more crucial is now, and take advantage of every opportunity that comes in the market so we won’t keep reminiscing and regretting about the past.
1028  Economy / Economics / Re: 2023: What money lessons have you learned so far? on: May 06, 2023, 12:17:31 PM
So far, I have learned based from my personal experiences that even if you have a huge amount of income, it won’t guarantee that you’ll also have a significant amount of savings. Regardless of it’s amount, the ability to save is not based on your current income but it’s certainly based on your mindset and perspective. If you cannot manage your expenses whether it’s small or big, you will never achieve financial stability and might even drown to debt once ignored. Moreover, if you’re able to save even with a low amount of income, then most likely you’ll end up saving a lot more when your income turns into big.
1029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: May 06, 2023, 09:38:43 AM

Over 211.5 should also be reachable in this game. Good luck everyone.

Of course, and with that, you won your bet. It's easier to cap the totals than the point spread for this game. Honestly, I thought the 76ers would be able to dominate in their first game at home, but that didn't happen because once again, the guards of the 76ers struggled.

James Harden went 3-14 and T. Maxey went 4-16. They can't win games with that kind of performance.

Regarding the second game, the Phoenix Suns were able to secure the win after a good performance in the fourth quarter against the Denver Nuggets. If the Suns hadn't been able to stop the big run by the Nuggets, this series might not have gone back to Denver, so congratulations to the Suns.

1031  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does the world still see Bitcoin as a scam, or is it just a lack of interest? on: May 05, 2023, 08:34:04 PM
You yourself has just stated that the reason people see bitcoin as a scam is because they don’t have knowledge about it, and that is the only answer to it. People have always seen in the past that every investment associated with the internet most especially if it promises a return it is usually a Ponzi scheme, so when bitcoin came up they all had same narrative towards it.

But as bitcoin continue to persist and proves all doubters wrong we can see that the adoption rate is fast growing. Concerning it risk, this is just a thing spread to discourage people from it vex there is no investment without although it is greater in some investments but the higher the risk the more return it could also generate so it is vice versa. As for those looking not to invest they can just buy and hold as it is better than fiat currency because of his advantage to hedge against inflation
I believe it’s a clear manifestation that people have less knowledge about bitcoin or no knowledge at all, because they chose to trust fiat and invest using fiat, than to use bitcoin as a currency and as an investment believing that it’s not valuable after all. But not all people have the same mindset and those who know bitcoin well are only those who can be successful as well. However, if there is proper education on bitcoin which I think the whole world lacks, then it will possibly change the negative concepts of the people. But knowing the government is the number 1 enemy of bitcoin, they will always control the people not to trust bitcoin.
1032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 05, 2023, 08:22:41 AM
Davis was really inconsistent. After scoring 30 points in game 1, he only scored 11 points in game 2 with 7 rebounds and had the most turnovers on the team. It was a bad game for Davis, and as a result, the Warriors dominated the Lakers to tie the series.

That's exactly what I was talking about after his good performance in the first game. As we can see, Davis systematically alternates between bad and good performances, and the Lakers seem like a weak team when Davis is having a bad day. By the way, the Lakers were able to avoid problems in the first round against the Grizzlies, even though Davis also had a couple of bad performances. However, the Warriors clearly have more experience than the Grizzlies, and they probably won't miss an opportunity to take advantage of the Lakers' weakness.

The Lakers are now playing against a healthy team, unlike in the first round where Memphis did not have their two big men due to injury. In that series, Memphis missed Steven Adams and Brandon Clarke, who are both great big men. If they were healthy, I'm sure the Lakers would have had a problem, just like the Warriors experienced last playoffs.
1033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: May 04, 2023, 09:54:42 PM

The game is based on luck and you know you couldn't be that lucky every day. It's not possible. If there is a strategy that would make money every day, we would all be doing it already.

This is not the kind of game that we use to play where there are numbers as clues on every block. It's pure guessing which one doesn't explode.
Gambling is a game of chance and luck, and it’s very impossible to have that luck everyday. At some point, you may win because you were lucky, but in gambling, it’s mostly you incur losses than winnings, simply because you were not lucky all the time. And strategies don’t work in gambling, that’s why never gamble a huge amount that you can’t afford to lose, otherwise your finances will sucked.
1034  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't claim to be an investor if it's still like this on: May 04, 2023, 09:37:13 PM
...And that means if we invest $10k, it will only be $12.9k next year, not immediately becoming sultan...

There is no guarantee that after investing 10000 dollars, you will receive 12900 in a year. There is nothing guaranteed in investing at all, and even more so in cryptocurrency. And if you do not have enough experience to invest, then such an investment outcome as the loss of a deposit will look more real.
Investment has its own risks, and that risk includes whatever you deposit today will never give you returns tomorrow. It’s actually more of a loss than a gain especially if you come to invest in the market without understanding what you are investing for and how you will work for it. If you don’t have the knowledge and experience the moment you invest, then it’s useless to expect for profits after you invest. So never underestimate investing, it requires a lot of knowledge and skills first before you will succeed on it.

1036  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: THE VIEW OF SOME PEOPLE OVER BITCOIN on: May 04, 2023, 08:34:10 PM
When you dislike something, you can present a thousand reasons against it. Conversely, when you favor something, you may provide a plethora of reasons to support it. This is also true for Bitcoin. At times, a few individuals may oppose Bitcoin, resulting in a multitude of reasons against it. The most common excuse is its volatility. However, we acknowledge and believe that Bitcoin's volatility is what makes it the most popular. Holders and traders can benefit from this volatility, which is why they prefer Bitcoin. I am not concerned about other people's opinions about Bitcoin, as I have a thousand reasons to like it.
Same with my thought. At end of the day, people have always negative thing to say at a certain thing that they dislike the most. But let them worry, while we continue to explore and benefit from bitcoin. If they have something to say against bitcoin, I guess we all have some certain reasons too to like about bitcoin and it’s only us who are able to notice and benefit from it. The important here is, we know that bitcoin has great potentials to keep us benefiting in the future, so we should keep on hodling and protecting it for our own advantage.
1037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 04, 2023, 06:20:43 AM
First game after winning the MVP and his team suffered a blowout loss. What a nice way to comeback hehe. It may have been a poor call on the coach to let him play even though he's not 100% fit and they were already one game ahead....

We can't blame that on Embiid; it should be on Harden. Despite having a double-double night, if we look at his production, he only scored 12 points in this particular game, and those 12 points came from a very poor shooting performance of 2-14. He was also 0-6 beyond the arc, so it's safe to say that Harden is at fault, and his inconsistency has cost them a game.
I'm not blaming Embiid. I'm saying the coach may have made a poor call letting him play despite his condition. Why? Their system in game 1 worked in their favor and they already have a one-game advantage so he could have replicated that while allowing more time for Joel's knee to recover. I know this is easy to say in hindsight but who knows what could have happened.

Embiid is not the worst performer on the team. James Harden had a worse night after leading his team to a big win in game 1. I think Embiid was in the center of the discussion because of his return and the fact that he is not 100%. I'm not sure what happened to James Harden; his poor shooting was likely unrelated to Embiid's return since they had already built chemistry together.
1038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 03, 2023, 09:57:07 PM
^^ Sooner or later there will be blaming games and pointing finger as to what cause Memphis that series against the Lakers. Obviously, two of them, Ja Morant's interview, "I'm fine in the West" comment and then Brooks disrespecting Lebron and "poking the bear" and until someone drops 40 on him. Yeah, the last game of the series, the Lakers won by 40 point lead, and Brooks performance in that series was garbage.

And with that, perhaps management said that they have enough of this clown, and as Draymond said, "The dynasty starts after you, not with you”. So good riddance for Brooks, and let's see if a team is going to pick him up, or going to Shanghai Sharks,  Grin
Ja may not be the best person you want on your team, but at least he is a great player, whereas Brooks talks so much and yet can't back that up, that's the difference. Morant may do some wild stuff and definitely would rather have Tim Duncanesque type of player who is a calm leader and not some wild youth who acts out, but at least Ja can drop 40 on a game, he has done that and can do that for a long time, dude can jump higher than Lebron, he was good.

Brooks on the other hand talked like he was some big deal, and then he ended up getting served, I am sorry but if you can't back up your talk then you are only hurting the team. Poke the bear if you going to beat the bear, but also keep the bear under 20 points or inefficient game if you can, if you can't then it makes no sense.

The only downside I see towards Ja Morant is that currently he doesn't have a good environment that is why he's been in the middle of issues lately, mainly about that incident where he got suspended in the league and if I'm not mistaken he was also fined. But if Ja Morant will be surrounded with good folks that can help him improve and view things differently, then I bet his performance will be better than what we've see these past two season.

And for Dillon Brooks, he didn't see this coming though and maybe this will be even his last season in his whole career as there will be no team in the league that will show interest towards him because he doesn't have any talent that is worth the risk aside from talking nonsense and poking somebody.
1039  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advise to a friend on: May 03, 2023, 09:44:24 PM
It is his money and he is supposed to take the decision. We need to help him with different choices available. Whether the investment is huge or low when we suggest and if the same wasn't able to provide good profit then this could hurt us. Many such incidents have taken place in real life and even you and me could've experienced it. What's the need of such kind of hurting. So, let them learn, understand and further choose from the available list.

Yes, precisely mate! It doesn't have to be in a way where we will be the ones who will convince them to invest in a specific field where we can see them gaining profits like cryptocurrencies just because they've got a lot of funds just sitting in the bank waiting to be withdrawn and then spend with whatever they want. We surely do not want to get in the middle of all the blame if ever things go wrong, we just have to let them know that there is a way to make a passive income rather than just keeping it in a bank.
1040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: May 03, 2023, 08:55:39 PM
Its his last fight with Goosen though, as Garcia is parting ways with the fame training,

Quote
BoxingScene.com has confirmed that Garcia has parted ways with veteran trainer Joe Goossen. The split comes a little more than a year after the two joined forces in early 2022, working just three fights together and which ended with Garcia’s lone career defeat when he was stopped by unbeaten star Gervonta Davis in the seventh round of their April 22 super fight at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

https://www.boxingscene.com/ryan-garcia-parts-ways-with-joe-goossen-following-knockout-defeat-gervonta-davis--174277

So from Reynoso->Goosen->Huh?

Who's next for Ryan? and can we blame him for leaving Goosen as his trainer? They are very close as Goosen has trained Ryan in the amateurs and it was reported that the Garcia's are close to Goosen. But obviously, with the way he lost against Tank, I guess Ryan might not be satisfied on how him and Goosen put up their strategy. Anyways, we will see which one his going to pick next as he wanted to go and move up to 140 lbs.

So, it seems that they are on the blaming game now and I wouldn't be shocked if a similar news will explode that Ryan Garcia have cut his ties with his promoter, Oscar Dela Hoya, although, I'm not even sure if Garcia can do it now (this year) because he got a contract under Golden Boy. I guess, we'll know about it soon as they are now on a hot mess. It all started when Oscar didn't show up in the post-fight press con.

Yes, not going to be surprised, we don't know how long is the contract or when it's going to end, but for sure, majority of us might have the same feeling that Ryan is just waiting for the right time to cut his ties with Oscar and who knows, goes on the other side, PBC.

Gonna hurt Oscar if that happens, but this is a cutt throat business, this guys are really going against each other and if you want to survived, then Oscar needs to do is still go and look for more promising boxers again. And then pamper them, make their name more hype and then get that belt. He still has a lot of stable boxers though, so could be fine if Ryan decided to part ways.

There is huge chance that it will happen somewhere in the future because PBC is no doubt one of the best promotional company right now in the boxing industry because aside from the fact that they are the ones who mostly makes huge fights these days, PBC is no doubt have a vast affiliation and influence as well, and that might be one of the few reason why Ryan might choose PBC if in-case his contact with Oscar will end.

Apart from that, Oscar brought this whole situation himself and he surely cannot blame somebody because I doubt Ryan Garcia will act this way if he just showed up and provide back-up for Ryan Garcia in the post-fight press conference because after all, Ryan Garcia is still a kid in the middle of these controversies which also have a very sensitive feelings.
